They are trying to initiate an upspeed man as they exit their d-zone,they are activating him about half way to their blueline,so he hits the n-zone with speed, just let your forecheckers know,so they dont get sucked in,I would bring a man out of the n-zone dialed in to the chest of that upspeed man and hammering him hard not going for the puck just hitiing his center of gravity chest to chest to remove him from the playaction and catch them in their own zone scrambeling, because of where they are engaging the upspeed man they are vulnerable to this, they are engaging it to early or to deep in their zone,it will only work if they can finesse past our forecheck,so just hit em dead on the chest and ignore the puck when they try the upspeed plaone of our forecheckers deep so they try it and the second forechecker exploding out of the n-zone with high speed hunting the puck carrier and aiming for his chest NOT getting sucked into going for the puck, they are making an error engaging the upspeed man so deep in their zone,as long as we take the body 100% and dont get caught trying to go for the puck on the upspeed man we negate their d-zone exit. One forcehecker in deep and early so they set up the upspeed play they want, then our 2nd man waiting for them and hitting the upspedd rusher chest to chest NOT going fo rthe puck at all just taking the body 100% head-on and hard and fast coming in out of the n-zone fast closing the distance, ambushing them from the n-zone as they tried to do to us earlier.

They have been shaky on the blueline puck control and Webber likes to be 2-4 feet into the zone when he shots so at this point I might look to spring one back on them by simply going at him chest to chest and trying to take him and the puck right out of the zone, hiopefully catching the puck with him and busting past him, just look for it dont get to crazy, but it might be a thought.

Very very nice job by Nail to get perfect body position and for gagner to find him, next year this duo will be making huge waves man.

Do not change a thing, keep it coming there is a lot of game left, remind the men of that.

The 4th line is looking good.

Dont get out of hand on Nail, just settle down and dont take things away from a great night so far,no man should feel like he is that much under the microscope, why not crack a joke about it instead of crapping on the kid, talk to him later if you need to,but just remeber that is no worse than accidentally shooting it over the glass,or closing your hand on it or anything else.

Seriously Nail is doing very very well in so many other areas lately you NEED TO BE REASONABLE. And FYI when teammates work hard to kill a penalty you dont get to say anything, taking a penalty is a part of hockey and if it isnt a lazy one as that one was not then the only time you can raise an eyebrow is if they score, just settle down already man.As a coach you need to always hold your judgement until there is a negative scoreboard impact and ALWAYS give teammates a chance to cancel the comments you might want to make, when the Penalty is killed of successfully you must wait till after the game in a private moment to make your point respectfuly, and even if they score be carefull how you approach it.

Thats the first time I have ever seen that penalty so actually it gives you some material for educational chats later,as long as it isnt a lazy or selfish penalty you gotta relax.

Teams have a habit of reverting to first period tactics in the 3rd for some reason so simply watch for that two man deep lateral forecheck again, and no panic, just see what they bring to you.

Use the "two minute drill" the 1st two minutes and last two minutes of every period need to be played the same way all the time, defensively looking for teams to hit you with set plays they have had time to strategise.Something NHS to work on later, not neccesarily now.

Just keep staying the course, stay consistant as you have been doing for quite a few games now.

Nice decision by Hall to simply ice the puck,he recognisd the danger and disconnect,it is nice to have some solid faceoff men huh?Now we can make those decisions a part of our gameplan and not live in fear. All the early season work on faceoffs by everyone is paying off.

Ice it if there is danger in our zone, skate it a lot at 75% speed, burn clock without turning it over to them.Reduce our passes by 25-30% to play er safer. But dont stop trying to score goals now, lets not fall back, lets STEP back how and where we want.

Dont give these guys any fights tonight,if they come looking, unless it is unavoidable, nothing easy.We will fight when it benefits us not them, just keep your heads up and play smart as you are doing, close er out, keep er steady Eddy and stay the course.

Excellent job by the officials, dont give them any fights, dont let them have anything we dont want to give them.Stay the course, start lugging it out of the zone and burn some clock, skate it to open areas that simply have no one there sprint at 75% speed to nowhere.
Go for scenic route keepaway skates as much as you can, just look for open space, and kill clock.

That crossice pass in our zone is why we need to lug the puck out at 75% speed, there was no one near the man,not to be to picky, just validating the tactic.as I said scenic skates to anywhere open, long 75% speed wanderings that burn off the clock.KEEP YOUR BACKS TO THE BOARDS AND YOUR HEADS UP AND DO NOT TRY TO RUN IT UP THE BOARDS WHERE THEY CAN RUB YOU OUT.

Nice finish, stay the course, heads up ,backs to the boards, watch out for the pushes from behind, recognise danger and ice it,or take scenic route long skates with the puck, close this sucker out,THERE WAS NO 7TH LOSS IN A ROW,as we said pre-game.

Well done fellas.

Just out of curiosity I wonder who was sharpening the Preds skates? They looked really shaky all night especially on the blueline, just an observation.

If you dont have the advantage of above average pre-game tactical reads illustrated via a Tactical Dynamic Templat and above average in-game read and reacts, you are toast tonight and nearly every night, what arent you guys able to grasp other than your arse cheeks?

How many times do you need to bang your heads against the wall? This Ugly Betty losing will continue well inot next year if you dont get with the program, you have already more than proven that you cannot go it alone, that was 6 losses in a row by the way, what are you doing looking to break that 6 loss mark of futility? To prove me wrong,ha ha ha a?

Prediction -- without my pre-game template and without my superior on-the-fly read and reacts the Canucks will roll the Oil over to the tune of 5+ to 1.It will be over by the 30 minute mark.Bryz will be yanked by the end of the 1st.

Dont be silly, without the data you incorporated last night the result would have been far from slap happy.I guess its back to one step forward and two steps back again huh?Ha ha ha.

You better win tonight without my data because this morning I had to Dumpster Dive to get back all of my Oilers gear I had 86'ed,ha ha ha,everything needed a good rinse and repeat anyways,ha ha ha.

I guess my training whells have been kicked off now, excellent.

This is one of the rare times when I have been incorrect in my predictive analysis of the game and it is about time.

I have been "corrected" and am strong enough to admit it.Very nice job gentlemen.

I have seen a ten game run of consistant projection of a stable system influence and have watched the coaches begin making micro-adjustments,no knee-jerk structural adjustments, this is all the group needed to do from a macro-managmenr perspective,it has been a major evolutionary step.

The last two games in case anyone hasnt noticed have played out dynamiclly like our successes of last season played out,the 2nd line carried the offense.

David Perron has become the MPS replcement on Sam Gagners line that the team needed.

This is what we should have seen from game one on.

By god I hope Dallas doesnt incorrectly valuate this teams recent evolution ,I didnt hear Yakupovs or Gagners names in the post game presser,in my opinion Yakupov was the best Oiler on the ice last night and was a primary driver out there.

Dallases unwillingness to mention this and his singular mention of Perron doesnt reflect the reality of everythig we have seen developing over the last ten games, the 2nd line OVERALL has been the difference,David is simply doing the job we needed him to do when we traded for him, support Gagner and Nail on the 2nd line.

If Eakins remains stubborn like this and doesnt give credit where it is due he is beating around the bush to defend his past decisions and the greatest danger to this team is poor valuations and those are catalysed by defensive perspectives and postures.

I am not being critical just pointing out the obvious, the things we all saw out there .

Last night the 2nd line deserved the kudos and the game before the 4th line was the primary driver but last night post game I heard only about the 4th line and that wasnt accurate, and these are the small errors in valuation that can become catalysts for erronious read and reacts by the coaching staff if they are not aknowledged or corrected.

Sam Gagner looked awsome last night,Taylor Hall was a BEAST,Nuge is maturing sooo fast, many many things are coming together now,Nail is also a BEAST,my god Taylor and Nail can both impact the game sooo much from the i-2 line positions when they are dialed in.

I have already eaten my humble pie for making a poor game prediction but am very glad to see that the training wheels have been kicked off.

Bryz had an excellent game, man did he make some huge saves. It was so nice to see Scrivvens handeling the puck against a team where that was a key component of our strategys and then to see Bryz in a game where his style became just as critical and important to our tactics against another type of team.EXCELLENT PLAYER MANAGMENT,nice job of identifying and managing the dynamic impacts of each man.Maybe we need to keep them both.

This coaching staff and roster is learning how to close games out now.

My overall feel for the game last night was that Nail Yakupov is an incredible player who brings it all to the ice and who doesnt ever seem to waste pucks,he gets passes through so fast and nearly as consistantly as Gagner and Nuge do,and he is very physical when he sees the chance and makes good decisions.I loved the game Taylor Hall played last night,he is becoming a FORCE TO BE RECONED WITH EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.He is the player we all hoped for and still getting better.I see him and Nail as being sparkplugs of this team for a long long time.

Dallas great job, aside from the failure to mention Nails great game after being so overtly critical of him and the failure to credit and identify the 2nd line as being the difference maker in the game, never mind that the 4th line barely edged them out two games ago as the primary driver in that win as well.

If you can spank them then you can pat them on the shoulder when they do well and that was strangely missing,as I said I hope it isnt because there is any stubbornness in admitting that the decisions to this point were not optimal but aren now evolving in that direction, because any fool can see that the 2nd line is a huge component of this teams success.

NONE of our rookies have managed to bring the physical component that Nail has brought, the edge, the in your face fire, and opponents hate that,Nail and Perron together must drive opponents batty as hades,ha ha ha.Taylor Hall has evolved into a player who can challenge anyone in the NHL head on and this makes him a monster on the 1st line primarily because Nuge can set him up and Ebbs forces teams to give him space.

Lets also credit the 3rd line as they were also standout.

But the single biggest KUDO MUST GO THE THE COACHING STAFF,as the last ten games have been where they have begun to find consistancy and to hit their strides, whatever it is they have adjusted they were correct and need to continue and now THEY SEEM TO FINALLY KNOW IT.

Lets not tell lies, this hasnt been a season long evolution this has been a recent string of consistantly managed games and critical adjustments have been ,if we make a screwed up valuation of how and why the team has improved we open the door to a massive fall back -- just keep it honest and integrity based and everything will keep evolving upwards.

Bury the majority of this season and dont even use it as a learning resource, just focus on the last ten games and the REALITY that these changes are CURATIVE,my god do not overthink it or defend ANYTHING from the games before these adjutments.

I might suggest that Luke Gadzic begin making a christmas list of players who mishandle Nail Yakupov and rough him up to much,we dont want nail fighting yet and we also dont want players coming back to many times thinking that we forget things, simply make a list and next game find the offenders and DONT TELL THEM WHY but send them a message, they will figure it out because they know what they do,just dont SAY they are being repayed for going after nail,JUST DO IT.They will know why.Take names and numbers. This is how you do it,you dont overreact and lose games in the moment but you CAN NEVER FORGET AND MUST ALWAYS REMIND OPPONENTS OF THE FACT THAT YOU LET THINGS SLIDE ONLY TEMPORARILY.

And it should NOT be just Luke taking names we need hendricks and Jones as well because I am seeing middleweights making some of these attacks and it is becoming a bit of a trend,we WILL SUPPORT NAILS AND TAYLORS ON-ICE IMPACTS.We WANT them playing like thye do.Until Nail gets another year under his belt and Taylor puts on ten more lbs we WILL ececute the paybacks for them, dont kid yourself they will be able to take care of themselves this way next season.

The Bridge is yours Captain Eakins. It looks like you have found Esprit De Corps and consistancy and continuity of focus, you dont need any external influences damaging this great dynamic. You have made my inputs redundant now and for that I thank you.I am not the only one seeing how you are finding your stride and how things are evolving, others are just a bit slower on the uptake, good on you and your crew and roster. Now it is natural to mention the coaching staff and the roster in the same sentence because they are now on the same page.

I am not 100% sure of exact causality of this coming together of all of the right things at this point in time and I could create a Tactical Dynamic Template to illustrate it,however I shall not do that,I will not expose the proper steps taken so anyone can trip you up.You are now writing your own script, your own "book" and it needs to be a State Secret.I shall not be doing in depth online analysis of the things you and the roster are doing from here on in,YOU GUYS kicked the training wheels off on your own and now the dynamic has changed, you are now swimming, not treading water.

You can all look at each other now and KNOW you have found this equalibrium TOGETHER with no external inputs, the players know the true causality you know it as well ,one nice big page everyone is now on.As for me and the rest of the world, well we just arent on the State Secrets need to know list, all we need to know is that you are ALL working on the same page and going in the same direction.

I have become accustomed to posting out of neccessity, now that need isnt there.Anything not requested from here on in will be regressive and because that was never my intention it is quite obviously time for me to step wayyyy back and let things evolve on their own.It is as important to know when to step out of the playaction as it is to know when to step in.Moma2-BadMedicine-NewAgeSys- OUT!!!

I am now officially on Sabbatical.I will reply to any requests for data posted here but will not be offering anything without that request.I watched a show on Mike Keenan in Russia, and am kind of interested in what he is doing there, and what kind of impact the NHS could manifest in that environment.

One last comment,Mark Spector is snowflake ,and that pen behind his ear last night looked retarded and unproffessional,he did not fit into the broadcast team at all,he stuck out like a sore thumb. He is such a con-job/stats salesman that he makes me laugh.

For those intersted he is full of crap,he refers to Analytics in the statistical sense constently to support his online cronies and likely some personal interests, somewhere in there there is a fiscal driver a non-integrity based fiscal driver intentionally being pushed forward.

Spector is TRYING TO SELL statistical Analysis to the NHL and to the fanbase when he know very very well that the recent NHL evolutions have been catalysed by Intuitive Dynamic Managment which evolved out of the NewAge Hockey System and these are NOT STATS BASED CONCEPTS,he is a con man and everyone should beware his spin-doctoring or they will make an incorrect valuation of how and why the entire game is changing.Somewhere in this dynamic he is trying to make personal gains either for himself or cronies.

Statistical Analysis and INTUITIVE DYNAMIC MANAGMENT are entirely different things, statistics are not a primary driver of the NHLs recent and epic evolutions.Dont be fooled by his crap.

What the broadcast team really needs is inputs from someone trained by myself to make relevant commentaries based on Intuitive Dynamic Managment, not some BS statistical salesman trying to push some ultimatley fiscal hidden agenda.

DO NOT BUY ANY SALES PITCH THAT ATTRIBUTES CURRENT NHL EVOLUTIONS TO STATISTICAL ANALYSIS.This type of analysis has been utilised 100% in the NHL and in every spots since the dawn of time. There is NOTHING NEW TO BE GAINED FROM stats based analysis that hasnt already been optimised, anyone who is familiar with the game of hockey should already know this and reject his overt sales pitches,he is trying to rip-off the NHS and Intuitive Dynamic Managment.Dont buy the Snake-Oil.

Stats based analysis was optimised long long ago which is why the NHS and its Intuitive Dynamic Managment program have been able to have such a tremendous and historical impact on the game of hockey.

I absolutely despise intellectual thieves and spin-doctors and con-men,they do nothing but muddy the waters for everyone ,fans included.4 years ago I clashed online with this buffoon for the very same reason,he is a negative influence because his motives are not anove board and he fully understands the impacts of the NHS and Intuitive Dynamic Managment and is simply trying to use them for his own ends because there has been no formal recognition of the NHS and Intuitive Dynamic Managment. He is an opportunist and displays traits that run counter to everything the NHS represents.Ignore him and know with 100% certainty that statistical analysis is not having any impact on the game that wasnt already there,he and his cronies are simply trying to re-arrange their stats BS to fit the moment ,this type of intentional misrepresentation have been the boon of statistical analysis since the dawn of time.Stats can be arranged any way you want, they can be used to BS people.Intuitive Dynamic Managment has only ONE OPTIMAL FOCUS,there are not multiple focuses that can be manipulated to fool people,Intuitive Dynamic managment takes you to the OPTIMAL drivers you need to win,and it cannot be adjusted or rearranged, not ever.Only statistics can be manipulated this way to create intentional false/positive read and reacts to support changing dynamics in an excusatory or protectionist or salesmanship manner.

There is only ONE OPTIMAL RIGHT PATH OR ANSWER .Statistiacl analysis try to convince people that there are many ways to interpret dynamics, but this is an overt lie. There is only one OPTIMAL answer to any question and Intuitive Dynamic Managment takes you there and along the way it disproves disenfranchises and decapitates statistical manipulations and lies.Statistical analysis LACKS INTEGRITY at its core level.Intuitive Dynamic Managmentis CATALYSED BY INTEGRITY,integrity means honesty, and that alone should make anyone run from this fools BS salesmanship.

Statistical analysis is bad for the game from a managerial and a fanbase perspective, all it does is foster constant and everchanging false/positive read and reacts, and this creates an atmosphere of discontent ,and THAT is how this type of analysis has survived for so long in the NHL,it is time to put this crap in the garbage bin where it belongs.Intuitive Dynamic Managment exposes this statistical BS and provides a superior alternative so everyone can throw it away for good.
