So fair is fair right?

The 1st d-zone exit transition defines your entire system impact,it defines how you may utilise the player assets on the ice,how you may optimise their skiilset ,the degrees you can utilise each asset,the list is ENDLESS.

Hurrying the 1st exit transiton DOES NOT MAKE YOU SAFER AND IT DOES NOT PROJECT A DEFENSIVE IMPACT,it produces a terminal impact at the NHL level,at this level opponents dont need to gain possesion in your zone to immediatly create a ten bell scoring chance or to bury it on you.

Defense as much as I cant stand the word,isnt about clearing your zone it is about maintaining consistant puck possesion and preventing opposition zone transitions.

If a skilled team hurrys the 1st zone exit then they shrink the rink on themselves,a skill team doesnt want to do that the freaking opponent is trying to do that to a skilled team.This is the footshooting Dallas is trying to express.

a skilled team uses forechecking to force dumpins and then manages the 1st defensive zone exit optimally and engages their systems offense from there where it is supposed to be engaged from.

The general idea is to control possesion and momentum for 200 feet then deposit the puck in the net.

Every single possesion is supposed to be doing this.

Rushing the 1st transition foces the forwards to recieve the puck in the n-zone off the first playaction,they lose a tremendous amount of space when this happens and become vulnerable to bigger and slower teams clogging the n-zone,as LA does.

That initial zone exit MUST support the n-zone tactics that best fit the rosters skillsets and size ect ect ect for godsakes.

Bloody simple,there are only TWO core value actions required to negate the forecheck ,one is rush them the other is pass by them.

The man behind our net,is the catalyst of this entire process.If he rushes the forecheck he stutters them early and backs them off,if he passes he gives them time to read the playaction.

The opponents forecheck needs to be manipulated and then exploited,this is not hard to do ok.

Now after you choose the tactic to neutralise the forecheck you need to match this with a n-zone transition,the RIGHT ONE, and then finally you need to match that n-zone transition with your final zone transition,be it a possesion or a dump-in Arghhhh,whatever you choose.

You have 2 core value forechecking tactics one has a single upice zone entry tactic attatched and one has two zone entry tactics matched to it.If the d-man skates it up into the n-zone then there is only one ,more zone transition to make,if he passes it within his own zone then there will be 2 transitions to make.

If the d-man exiting the zone is setting the playaction sequence then this means the n-zone support simply needs to know which of only 2 tactics he will use,see it or hear it or both but dont tell me it is so hard to match it.

So the d-men need to know 2 simple zone transition tactics,big freaking deal,and the forwards need to know 3 simple zone transition tactics,big freaking deal.

Where does all the complication come in that we see on the ice?

I will tell you where,there is inadequate pre-game tactical preperation, the zone transition tactics should be set PRE-GAME EVERY GAME and be reliable and accurate,of course subject to change at any time but still quality data.

But if the men doing the scouting arent able to properly read and record opponents system influences and tendancies then the initial data is flawed and bad things can happen fast.

So do the morons have some statistical idiot doing this work because it is so shoddy it has to be a stats geek.

Do you see where I am going here? Stats kill you they dont help you.

I mean please look at the incredibly low number of tactics players need to learn and tell me a 10 year old couldnt understand them.

You see this has NEVER BEEN A PLAYER LEARNING CURVE OR SYSTEM TEACHING disconnect,NEVER.

This has been a preperation and managment issue.

Anyone who can walk and chew bubble-gum at the same time can learn 2 or 3 simple tactics.

So we are left with timing those tactics as a group,communication.

Most of the game is communication.Read and reacts are catalysed by communication EVERYTHING is dependant on communication.

Based on the extremely low number of tactics players need to know the comunication requirements arent exactly overwhelming now are they?

In effect players on the bench should be able to call out the correct and accurate signals if the men on the ice never open their mouths during a game.


I am not sure why a coach is needed other than for moral support to be honest.If the players on the bench dont understand how to run the game what hope is there of winning consistantly in reality?

In terms of available and adequate curative measures there is the NewAge Hockey System and its inflating pricetag or unfortunately comrades there is bupkiss.

I guarantee that if I can get any of these men in a room or all of them I will change their perceptions of the world around them long before we talk hockey.This group needs a little shock and awe to put them in a proper learning mindset.They need a hands-on tactile learning experience they can "feel" hitting them in the guts.

They need someone who can out think them consistantly and absolutely,all of them together at once.They need to see actual problem solving that they cannot manage as a cumulative group executed in front of them to brand them permanently and kibosh any naysayers or problem children,on the spot.



This managment group requires an ABSOLUTE starting point and to get this they all must be ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED.

The crux of the issue is creating an artificial organisational sense of urgency that will support not just winning but Championship results consistanlty. You only build the Pyramids base ONCE.

If ownership cant or wont catalyse this effect then there is only one other way to achieve the impact.

It must be a 100% free-will buy-in by the entire managment team and roster.

Everyone has to WANT TO AGREE UPON A DEGREE OF URGENCY AND THEN CONSISTANTLY APPLY IT ACROSS THE BOARD.

Back over to you Dallas.Listen man,you have shown a very very solid ability to get the men to make adjustments for you seamlessly,you are extremely strong in that particular area.Whatever voo-doo you do it is exceptional.I am just talking about the action not the tactical application ,the comunication there is above average by a firm margin.This tells me you are more offensively catalysed than you think,I am seeing a statistical and Intuition power struggle here your personal tangible on-ice experiences catalysing your stats focus , and your cerebral focus catalysing a not over the top but definately as high as a young Gypsy chicks Intuition,Mac-T obviously picked this up right away and he made a very accurate valuation,now I get it,Mac-Ts stats focus matched your personal tangible experiences you express as your stats focus ,and his survival style Intuition eclipses but paralells your own above average Intuition.I DO SEE IT NOW.

Dallas you have an advantage over Mac-Ts more powerfull and explosive Intuition primary driver and and activation triggers,but you arent aware of it.

You learned and honed your intuition using cerebral experiences via writing,listing,seeking patterns and videos,never mind Roger who is legendary , and Mac-T learned his Intuition the same way you learned you Stats focus.

I am sure of this template so this means..... that your activation triggers are catalysed in very different ways ,which means....you will both use different strengths or drivers in the same dynamic situation,your triggers are polar opposite,neither of you could have possibly known this when you first met.

Dallas man I feel for you,you have been caught in one of the most explosive dynamic growth transitions I have ever witnessed,I honestly had no realistic idea how FAST NHL teams catch on to consistant results based tactical data,in the beginning I was able to make thank god a correct and accurate valuation of the rate of data dissemination throughout the NHL,predominately in the W.Conf,and this catalysed a timely and fortuitous data embargo very early on,years ago.

To be blunt the defensive methods you were using in the AHL USED to apply relatively seamlessly to most NHL systems,but trust me pal,it just isnt so anymore,and yes Dallas this has been exploding,look at the Flames for example,they are the best recent addition to the evolution revolution.

There is really no way you could have anticipated this scenario,unless you were on my page.

Your roster must be flipping out internally because they all know VERY WELL what they have done and can do using the EXACT SAME TACTICAL ADJUSTMENTS some very successfull teams are implementing as we speak.

Put yourself in their shoes for a second, Dallas man NOBODY PUT YOU IN THE LOOP, the men HAD THIS DATA FIRST BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE IN THE NHL OVER 3 YEARS AGO. Trading MPS was a real pain in my arse,you have no idea how critical he was,i am not kidding.Yakupovs issues stem from the fact he went from being optimally utilised and supported to being underutilised and under supported. The idea of men playing their strengths down to one consistant level has been incorrectly valuated,you arent doing it right man.Wrong application.it was supposed to be a cerebral application not a tangible physical one.

I know you tried to replicate that dynamic,and I also know you now understand why MPSes size speed and defensive awareness were a perfect fit for Sam and Nail,those men worked their arses off to create exact and specific dynamic playactuon managment that was nearing consistant optimal application.And NO magnus didnt need to add any offense or grit,he was PERFECT.You arent going to be able to simply plug in a statistical equivilant and expect it to work.You need to learn to respect the potency of Intuitive Dynamic Managment,I mean look what it is doing to you on a nightly basis,and you havent even diagnosed the causality of your losses,man you are looking in traditional areas for a non-traditional catalyst,you are tasting the NHS fire and it is scorching you,all of you badly.

We needed a Perron impact but we couldnt afford to lose an MPS type of impact.

By the way,the ways your roster were implementing the NHS modifications from a geurilla posture before you got here were more explosive than any version opponents are using now.

As odd as this may sound Dallas I am winding this circus down soon,I have been forcing myself to post this statement regularly over the last few months.Call it self-policing.I am becoming disillsioned rapidly,I am sorry but I am beginning to experience sympathetic pangs of losership because i am a passionate fan and emotionaly invested as a natural competitor.I have an amature coaching background and a smidgen of Motivational Speaking experience to fall back on to assist me in attempting to rationalise the epic willingness of your managment structure to lose everything over an attitude issue,I cannot compute intentionally disenfranchising valid data and losing games over the defense of a mistake already made,that is just so anti-winner that its to much to handle.

Ask Yak to skate JUST a few feet laterally to time his passes to Luke better,that long cossice pass is to dangerous,Luke likes it and so does Nail,but it is to dangerous,Nail can learn to watch his spots better and hang onto the puck Just a one-onethousad in his head,skate into ANY open ice even if its just a curl in the zone to give Luke a little more time.Try to let Luke enter the zone and then cut over to the left side immediatly then if Nail can sneak JUST 1 foot over the blueline and make a N/S pass for a deflection it will be safer.

Nail needs to simply clearly understand the impact you want him to create,dont overcomplicat it on him.

Just say we need to give Luke a tiny bit of time to enter the o-zone on the right side then cut straight over to the left side,so all nail needs to do is SAFELY find ANY open ice where no one is on him then hit Luke when he is in his spot.

Let Nail know there is no pressure to be in a specific spot when he tries to buy Luke time,just be ALONE ,this means if he curls and keeps his head up SAFELY in the mid n-zone that is enough,nothing fancy.Make the n-zone transition as he is and keep taking it towards their zone but when he sees its clear pull up and curl or skate slowly laterally for a few strides then BUST IN on the left into the zone and 1 foot over the line make the shot/pass IF IT IS OPEN,no pressure so no high risk passes that will be blocked on him,shoot it straight on net,no angles.When they catch on and come out to meet him then drive it right in on them the 1st time they commit high pressure.

The key is that Nail needs to still use proper speed to exit his zone and not change his pace till he gets to the mid-n-zone,he still needs to back them off and exit properly,this is really just a speed adjustment he is using to manage the playaction.As long as he sticks to the system exit tightly he CAN make his speed adjustment anywhere as long as he is ALONE and safe,not possesion turnovers due to unneeded pressure,NO PRESSURE TO SCORE,just pressure to make that tiny speed stutter in an open safe spot.

Tell Luke to keep the speed wide open on his part,let Nail be the hammer and Luke be the Anvil, Luke breaks in on the far right as he is doing using his size to back them off,then two strides into the o-zone Luke SLICES HARD INTO THE MIDDLE OVER TO THE LEFT SIDE so Nail can shoot the puck straight on with little to no angle on the trajectory preventing those blocks that go the other way.

YOU DONT NEED TO EXPRESS OR IMPLEMENT THIS DATA IMMEDIATLY----things are looking OK now, just watch that line and if the Jets try targeting it then adjust.Really simply eliminating that rinkwide diagonal pass which is a ten bell danger any way you choose is likely enough to discouage them from targeting that line.

I dont think anything is wrong enough to hurry this adjustment and panic anyone just keep it on the backburner.

After last nights game I am confident my job is done here.

I have stuck it out with this dysfunctional dynamic since 2009 and I havent strayed from my path.

I feel inner validation now and there is no longer a prerequisite sacifice my own self-respect and direction to tolerate the Oilers managments contrarian dysfunctional learning curve, no need to suffer any more disrespect insolence or ignorance from the Oiles.

Nothing about this last 4 years has been "OK" or in any way natural or normal.

I am officially free and clear of this dynamic nightmare.

I have always felt self-validated.

Not for one second have I experienced self-doubt.

But this has in fact been the worst teaching/coaching experience of my life,the most one-sided ,one-way imbalance dynamic I have ever encountered.

Everything has a starting point and an end point,and this relationship with the Oilers organisation is over.

I have no well wishes for the Club as a whole.Nothing they have learned was EARNED everything was either taken or manipulated,and this was the catalyst of the endless and continual and as we see now ultimately terminal disconnect.

The gist of this post is to let the Oilers group know fully and clearly that I have cut my ties,I have accomplished my goal,and
I haven had to compromise myself to get the job done.My loyaltys have been consistant and will never change.

Now the record WILL show the truth of this 4 year long tactical template.Its clear beginning and its clear end.

Dallas was right about one thing,people in Edmonton dont give up,but we DO finish what we start and move on when we know the job is done.

I began this NewAge Hockey System journey FOR THE PLAYERS WHO WERE BEING BRUTALISED,and I am ending this journey satisfied that they now have a fair chance at success.

Any player, coach, consultant or fan who remains here beyond yesterday if the status quo regresses is the Master of Their own Destiny and has no one to blame but themselves,4 years ago they were caught in an epic sinkhole,today everyones head is above water and they can see the light.

The fan who threw the Jersey dictated no terms,he made a statement.

The Oilers reacted properly after Managment got involved to put out the fires.That would be called a terminal moment in my relationship with the entire group.I watched them do for one single fan something they should have done for me years ago and this dichotomy snapped me back into the proper perspective.

Now I am free of my internal guidelines and can spend time with whoever I want whenever i want in terms of NHL clubs and the NHS data already available. The full and complete NHS will now be put back into the Vault so my personal loyaltys remain 100% intact ,no one else will ever have the NHS,just the Oilers.

I will now enjoy the fruits of my labors and in clear conscience involve myself with whoever I want in the celebration of my accomplishments.

I am not sure which team I will be supporting now that I am free and clear of this dynamic.I do believe I will do the most challenging thing I can,go over the list of teams who knowingly and intentionally utilised the NHS data and simply refused to validate it,that list includes only the teams who got the data from me personally,NOT the ones who have absorbed it through osmosis not knowing where the original source was,and then to ensure that those on the list gain nothing from the data.No more Cups for those teams,their most impactfull opponents will now be indoctrinated fully and completely,not just to the NHS but to the specific terminal perspective needed neutralise the scabbed data they refused to validate the source of.It IS that easy to do.

I do not forgive and I do not forget.I finish what I start and leave no stone unturned in that process.My start and termination points are not conventional but hold no doubts that they exist.

It is a Supply and Demand issue,their is a finite supply and a rapidly growing demand.The supply cannot be increased,there is not and NEVER WAS any competition for me.I was NEVER going to be put in a negative dynamic,Intuition cannot be replicated,you either have it or you dont,you can either functionally use it or you cant ,you can either teach it or you cant.You are BORN with Intuition you cannot buy it,trying to apply written concepts from a statistical perspective will not work optimally it will cause inherant disconnects,you cannot teach something you do not fully understand.Just waiting ,suppressing,denying,and then trying to scrape,harvest,rip-off,call it what you choose that impact was NEVER GOING TO WORK,that is the traditional low-ball business methodology. Had the NHS been faily treated,valuated and compensated,then the team with that level of integrity would have been the recipient of fantistic rewards,like a penny stock you take a flyer on hitting ten bucks a pop,a windfall,but as we all know timing is everything and if you make an innacurate valuation and do not get in early you pay more when you choose to invest,SUBSTANTIALLY MORE because the valuation becomes MARKET DRIVEN.Remember that you created this dynamic,not I,I simply fed the monster you created.An entire NHL Conference is being transformed as we speak and the market is being indoctrinated more and more every day that goes by.Other teams after you tried to use the same business tactics your team tried to use,they refused to validate but utilised,and they will soon see their efforts submarined,with pinpoint accuracy.To the very last one.On the upside I have a concrete set of principals and am very forgiving when the proper overtures have been made,this means ANY of these teams can freely apologise and validate their historical usage and subsequent refusal to validate source.NO the excuse that they didnt know where the data was originating from is not acceptable because I know who was directly exposed to the data with the price being just a thank you and an open validation of source.Now the entire market will need to absorb this dynamic value increase as a cumulative group.

There is an important series validation tasks at hand,the Piper must be paid.

When you follow natures direction you can NEVER be taken off coures for very long.You will never lose,the battles may be prolonged but losing is never going to happen unless you choose to experience it unless you surrender and give up to soon.

For every unethical easy step specific teams have taken ,ten hard ones will be realised soon.

I think the Flames will be an Optimal asset to the accellerated growth and evolution of the Oilers,eventually catalysing in immediate and consistant playoff apearances for both teams is....

to swing them towards the Blues NHS modified Adjusted Hybrid.They are already dialing in on the primary core driver of the NHS concept the Blues have implemented into their old adjusted-Hybrid system.So this is the natural path of least resistance.Besides Chicago uses a different NHS primary core driver and also uses a secondary NHS driver,so it would be much more time consuming to teach the Flames that NHS modified system.LA uses yet another primary core driver from the NHS,this is a one concept modification and the Flames could also use this one and it would be easy and fast to implement and teach them,BUT the LA adjustments are really the least optimal of those available because they are the easiest ones to shut down,LA used the NHS modifications BEFORE lots of other teams began implementing them and they caught everyone by surprise,but then they failed to grow and evolve after that run,ironiclly they are in a PRIME position to add another secondary NHS core driver to their system and immediatly vault the impact up into the Hawks league.

There are lots of other teams dabbeling with the NHS now but these three cover the basics well.

So lets for the record say that by next season playing the Flames will be very much like playing the Blues.

This will give the Oilers and Flames the foundation for an excellent rivalry because the current Blues execution played by smaller and faster players has a very solid impact.The Flames will outperform the Blues with all things being considered equal due to roster dynamics.

The Oilers NEED to face this NHS influence because it will soon represent the Eastern Conferences NHL flavor,and come playoff time this will be what they need to overcome consistantly.

The Hawks are the WesternConferences flagship example in terms of NHL flavor,this is the NHS influence the Oilers need to dominate to dominate the Conference,and the Hawks are a tailor made whipping boy for the Oilers.The Hawks have been hammering teams who werent in the know,but that is changing.The Oilers already use the Primary and secondary NHS core drivers the Hawks use as well as two others sporadiclly.

Because the Hawks require a "panking for not thanking, I will teach TWO Western Conference rivals their entire system dtabase specificlly rhe two NHS adjustments they have been using.This will be 60 minute challenges instead of 30 minute challenges in terms of developing Tactical Templates.It is important to keep a consistant majority of WC teams using the same system even if the system they learn is a very good one.It doesnt matter how good teams can execute with the NHS adjustments available because even the Hawks with a third NHS modification cannot equal the NHSs impacts.That takes care of #2.



The Kings are about to have their world collapse because I am teaching TWO of their WC rivals a TWO component NHS modification unlike the Hawks 2,for these teams I will include the Kings PRIMARY core driver as one of the 2 they implement so they can flip the Kings system execution inside-out.Solution #3 complete.

The Nucks were the most receptive to me administratively during our last contact a few years ago,so i will cut them some slack,Torterella is a lucky duck.However this just means that I will teach TWO of their rivals single component NHS adjustments BUT it will the the exact primary core driver they are now using ,the Nucks are using one NHS modification so tis is an easy fix.But the slack for them comes in the fact that they will soon be adding another NHS adjustment and if I made an anticipatory move I could prepare their rivals for what even the Nucks dont know is coming in their evolution as a team,and this would sink them.This will just push their evolution like the Oilers will be pushed by the Flames.

Right now some WC teams are picking easy points off of the EC,and that will not change signficantly until next year,I am not focusing on the EC and they have to find their way to the water.Tis is ok with me for now but next season it will be time to expand NHS adjustments to the EC wholesale.


So this is the evolutionary template rom here to the Playoffs.Thisngs are going to get very very hot in the WC soon.Every NHS modification is offensively catalysed so things will get more exciting as the year closes out and the teams i am creating tactical templates for begin using them on the ice and lighting up WC rivals with regularity.Everyone will be scoring more across the board because the NHS phases out defensive focus and phases in MORE GOALS.



The optimal template dissects the NHSs core value drivers and spreads them amongst the opposition creating a perfect shooting gallery of opponents each of whom CAN force the NHS to compete hard by removing one of its core drivers and causing it to limp.You can only get stronger by making those around you stronger as well.

The NHS needs strong opponents to keep itself strong,but the key is to keep those opponents one or max two dimensional opponents.

I say let them eat cake,give the NHL all the offense it can handle and the fans all the excitement they can handle.

Ironiclly if i dont indoctrinate the EC teams they will begin to evolve into totally defensive teams within 2 years,because the same reaction the NHS catalyses on the ice in a game is transferred at the macro level they will begin to tighten up defensively trying to survive and the tighter they play defense the worse things will get for them agaist teams using the NHS modifications.

The Oilers right now have the optimal set of NHS modifications,better than the Hawks,Blues,Kings,Nuck ect ect.If they simply use the resources they have they should finish the season very strongly.

I would anticipate some very very happy fans in E-town,because as stated the Oilers use the optimal NHS adjustments and also the most of them at 3.

We should be seeing between 4-7 goals per game if they maintain consistancy focus and execution and build full and accurate pre-game Tactical Templates to work off of.

Now is the time to get all guns blazing and go hard against WC opponents already using NHS modifications because right now the Oilers need to accurately valuate the future of their defense which will need to become olde school standup.The very concepts of fast puck movement need to be accurately re-defined to fit that archetype.

The only way to build a results based valuation of the ways your defense needs to evolve is to open it up full bore for 60 minutes every night and see where the deficiencies are when the throttle is pinned down.This cannot be done at the beginning of a season,but a season like this one CAN be used for this task.

I say gun for Ekblad, if the team turns it around our draft position will definately change,but at least we will see the need for a standup defense manned by big tall lanky strong men with long sticks who can hit at the blueline and recover position first,within 2 years if your defense cannot stop offensive zone transitions at the blueline you are doomed,in the WC you are already doomed if you cannot do this.All you need is ONE mobile d-man for offensive punch.
