I am most certainly not accusing you of hoaxing, as you said what would be the point.

I just wish to be able to get an idea of the surrondings, for this I need a picture of the same scene in the daytime.

This desire is so that I can back you up, not an attemp to discredit you.

Many thanks.

edited to add the "not" before accusing.

i'm sorry, but why the hell is there such a fuss over people speculating, as this is part of the intended nature of the site i presume?

i'm very new to this site, and i haven't seen any of your previous posts, but if what you are claiming this to be is a lie, then i couldn't care less about the integrity of your previous posts... and no, don't expect an apology if others and myself are wrong with our 'opinion'.

sorry for going off-topic

For the poeple here that keep saying this is a blimp. I have two points that will prove its not. First off, blimps dont turn thier lights off at night. Not ever. The reason I know this is I called Bowmen Field airport manager and asked him a few questions about blimps.Turning off the lights at night was the first question. The next question was "Is there a blimp docked anywhere in Louisville?" The answer was NO. There has NOT been a blimp here since May 4th. Sorry for throwing the blimp thing out the window, but I like debunking the debunkers!!!!

Next time you want to claim blimp in the sky, call the airport first. Why post this if you havent explored it?

JRA, the first shot you adjusted in photoshop seems to show stars, please confirm if this is what you believe them to be.

Very nice observation, if those are starts then surely there are not stars on the ground (if its cars in a parking lot of some sort) as you can clearly see many more stars under where the ground should be. That would show that this is a shot of something in the sky...

LadyV, just check my signature. This has always been a problem for ATS members. You should see the thread where that quote originated. These fools were claiming that a photo of someone hauling a military aircraft on the highway was fake. There was absolutely NO reason for their assumptions, but that's what ATS members do best. Don't let it get to you.

I found the thread! www.abovetopsecret.com...

It's fake! Run for the hills! Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I too, live in Louisville. In the Highlands. I have not seen this thing yet, but will keep an eye out for it. Very odd. My guess would be that it is a new military toy though.

I am the one that urged ladyV to post the photos she took and just as i suspected several people came out and screamed fake. Just as they did in the photos i took and posted here. Hell its funny we tell people to take a photo of something when they see it but if they do this forum not only screams fake but scream intentianal fake. I swear someone could post a friggin picture of the best quality in the world of a ufo and this board would insist it must be a fake. You people really dont want to see anything , ill have to say that allthough ladyv and i do not agree on certain things i dont think she would intentianally fake a photo.

I'm semi-new here, some of you have seen my posts. Lady V strikes me as intelligent and well versed. based on her writings, I would think that she would know weather or not her camera was pointed at the ground or the air. Now I could be wrong, but I believe that if anything, it was an object in the sky. I must admit that the car idea does have merit, but as I stated, I believe she knows the dif between sky and ground.

Has no one got a camcorder or anything that could capture this and post it up? Night vision would be even better!

I havent read all of the thread so i dont know if this is a hoax or not.

I have saved and looked closer at the pics she posted and I can see one star to the right of the three red lights just zooming in a bit. I think this is a picture of something in the sky and I think the theory of a blimp has been settled so what is it? By looking at the contrast pic posted, one can almost make out a shape between the bright orange light and the three smaller white lights.

I am greatly offended here. While I am a UFO buff...what would I gain? It's not like these are "marketable", I wouldn't even know how to do that. I saw something several nights and took photos...I wasn't even going to post them but did at someone else's urging here on this board....then this person said that someone would accuse me of photoshopping them....it will be the last time that I personally post such a photo here....period, if I ever have the opportunity to take photos of something else I am not sure of, they will be posted elsewhere! I am not accustom to being called a liar....people that know me, know I wouldn't "hoax" something, and I find it most insulting.

Its ok, you should feel offended. BUT *not* posting stuff like this is playing right into to their hands. We police each other rather well, its sad but true.
Please post more pictures and perhaps video aswell if thats arrangeable, LadyV

Lady V,

If you ever take more pics, I would love to see them.

I know what I say won't make a lick of difference because I'm an unknown entity, but, I've 'known' LadyV for about 2 years at another bulletin board. *NOT related to any of this in ANY way*...and I have never known her to anything but 100% truthful. Sometimes more truthful than one would like to hear!

My thoughts..

I don't believe they are tail-lights. If they were, and were that bright, they wound also illuminate part of the car itself. Also if they were going in opposite directions, the one coming towards us would be showing it's headlights, which would of course be far, far brighter. we would also see other ground features or lights, or at least some hint of a horizon, even at night.

(They would also obviously be tail-lights to LadyV at the time.)

Secondly, I don't think that's a street light. it looks the wrong colour to me (too orange) and doesn't appear to be illuminating any street. (which is generally what street lights are for!). Plus of course there's only one of them. (the white thing on the right looks like the moon btw).

Nor are they reflections from a pane of glass. If they were we would also see a reflection of the flash itself on the glass, unless it was flawlessly clean and the camera was at quite an oblique angle to the glass.

Blimp? hard to say.. I don't know the light configurations. Did you see a bright white light flashing, about once every 2 seconds life a strobe light? If not, then it's not a "regular" aircraft. (ALL aircraft have to use such lights at night, at least in Europe anyway, it's a legal safety requirement... think of the flashing strobe light a regular passenger aircraft)

LadyV, when you say it disappeared when you started taking photos, do you mean it flew off, or the lights went out?

Also, for next time, make sure you know how to turn off the flash, and set your camera to a long exposure. have the camera ready on a tripod so that when you see it you can run out, position the camera, and run off a few long exposures pics.

Make sure you practice the whole procedure before-hand, so you're not trying to figure it out in a rush when you see this object again.

Good pics. Can't wait to see more!

oh.. one more thing. Could you nip out and take a couple of pics showing the same location/camera angle/any features etc in daylight. it will be useful to compare. Try to take one at EXACTLY the same angle and position as these pics, and another, from the same place, but tilted downwards to show the ground.

good stuff!

p.s. to the "photoshop expert in the entertainment industry", what field do you work in exactly?

Has anyone just tried to lighten this picture yet?? It IS a blimp.

Edit: All I did in this picture was take the original and turn up the brightness with a program called IrfanView. I don't have the skills to edit photos like some of you do.

Funnily enough, that's a leylandii, which is in fact the tallest shrub know to man!! The cause of neighbourly disputes throughout suburban Britain!!

They'll grow to 40 or 50 feet quite easily if left un-attended!!

I just took the pictures from the first page and used irfanview to try and recreate what you suggest...and I can't get anything like that at all.
