WTF? The Constitution is the Constitution regardless of WHO is trying to protect WHAT. TPTB will try to divide and conquer. they pushed the 1st Amendment and demonized the freedom fighters as hippies and homeless. When you conservative gun owners joined the propaganda and gave them the thumbs up, TPTB went right ahead with the 2nd, 4th and 10th Amendments. Blame yourselves for buying the false right-left paradigm and allowing this draconian powergrab to move forward swiftly and unimpeded...they continue to divide us and YES, this has EVERYTHING to do with the OWS movement on so many levels. So am I and I am having a really, really hard time watching people stab each other in the back over the same issues becasue of the false right-left paradigm, its a textbook Sun Tsu approach to dividing our efforts.. We should ALL get on the same page and fight them NOW. They are stepping up their game with private security forces in NY right now. The rest of use will, no doubt, start dissapearing in the night in the little towns. We just dont have the numbers to sustain a public show of solidarity. I think things will be stronger by spring, but many of us won't be around to see it, I'm afraid. I am planning on adding my voice for 2nd Amendment rights tonight at the general assembly. Wish me luck.

I am one of those rare people out there, that support freedom for everyone, and don't cherrypick, or think only people I agree with deserve them. I believe everyone has the same rights, even when I despise their message etc.

some of these anti gunners sure are funny to listen to arent they? They seem to think that people out target shooting are just randomly opening fire in some random open spot in the woods with no regard for anything. Maybe, if you want to take an anti gun stance, get educated on what you want to ban? Target shooters are going to make sure things are safe. They are not going to just fire into an open area where the bullet will fly for a couple of thousand yards ( not miles you buffoons). I wish you people would stop trying to sensationalize the issue as well, always referring to it as "wild west this" or "wild west that". Bottom line, most anti gunners do not know the first thing about guns, the practice of target shooting, the safety measure almost every single shooter takes while target shooting or the ACTUAL measures that need to be taken for safety. Every person I have ever encountered that is shooting, goes way beyond what is safe. Like a safety overkill.

This is part of the problem, idiots that have no clue about an issue take on working against it on an emotional response rather then an actual factual, rational argument.

The SCUM hate us for the way our Govt is structured and designed as it makes sure that a larger entity can't drown out that of a smaller entity. Who do you think is behind the wars, the collapse of the nation, collapse of money, collapse of just about everything all to kill the US and all she stands for once and for all because as long as the nation stands they are held back. Like I said, I will go to a campground that you use, get a gun and start firing on the campground right next to your encampment and since you'd be threatening my 2nd Amendment rights you can't complain when I'm firing off 100 rounds every 5 minutes for the rest of the night, see how far something can be taken? Obviously I'm not going to unload clip after clip inside of a loaded campground but you see how easy it is to shake someone's foundation?

This is not rewritting any existing gun law nor is trying to rewrite the 2nd. This is to merely ban where a gun can and cannot be discharged when it pertains to public parks.
