The next known approach of an asteroid this size will be in 2028. The image was taken on Nov. 7 at 11:45 a.m. PST, when the asteroid was approximately 860,000 miles (1.38 million kilometers) away from Earth.

Uhh...the flyby is tomorrow. So he has 24 hours before he has to either feel kinda stupid, or kinda sick---depending on what happens.
