Yeah, I don't understand the concept behind this strange argument. Is he going to show up at an occupy protest one day, get on the mic, and say "I'm George Soros, I gave you lots of money, so I am in charge here!"...?

Can one of you guys who believe that OWS is being played explain the motivation behind this intricately mischevious plot?

How could a corrupt organization of bankers/politicians benefit by secretly supporting an organization of individuals who are against corrupt bankers/politicians? That's like saying to stop people from being raped, I'm going to pass out roofies to a bunch of pedophiles, as well as T-shirts that say "I support rape".

I deny it enough to know that no 'funding' is going to control this movement when it is people, regular people at the very core of it, people discuss an agenda multiple times a day, where people who volunteer lay their ideas out in for the general assembly, everyone who attends the general assembly will vote upon the idea (whatever it may be), if its less than a 90% approve rating, then the idea is tweaked and will be presented again at the next GA.

I dont see george soros amidst them, voting, brainstorming, making ideas. Thinking somehow that the money he supposedly is supporting OWS with, doesn't matter because its only money. So the GA would make a decision on what to do with any monies, food, warm clothing, tents, camping gear. What have you. Some are starting to build for winter already, this is not going anywhere.

Seeing the GA in action is.. I dont know how to explain it. Its freaking awesome, is all i can really say. You feel like you're part of it. Its like its own.. culture, occupying the space of a much larger culture. Trying to bring the larger culture down a few pegs, because its all effed out of proportion now.

I think you can find a reason to be mad at big business, and the government for allowing big business to run its deeds, both need to be held accountable. We need a better way of dealing with other countries and peoples without blowing them up, creating more jobs, renewable energy, cut down the military budget, stop bailing out the 'too big to fail', let them die. Create something new, print your own damn money. Do not let the private banks do it. It will only fail you in the end. Stop paying INTEREST. Frig.

I have a list in my head, it goes on, and on, and on, there are a lot of reasons to be pissed off, you just don't know it. Every time you get a statement, "Why are they charging me $XX amount of dollars to use my own money?", or when you lose your job, your home. When you take a pay cut. When your job is outsourced to a cheaper country. Need i go on? i think you get my point, i dont think i really had one, just wanted to type for you all tonight. Felt like giving my two cents..

The people who want violence are in the minority, the people who want a peaceful resolution outnumber them vastly. Some just want to incite violence, they just like to cause havoc, or are actually police infiltrators (we know it happens), that may not be the case for all.

I dont want to see that happening, peace is the only way. If we resort to violence, then we're no better than them. I support the global occupy movement, because it is bringing awareness of the problems to the public eye, and the seed has been planted, even if this peters out (which i doubt it will), it will only come back, and in MUCH greater numbers. Much greater. You can only screw the pooch for so long.

If it happens to be that you are correct in your assumption then why not turn the tables again in favor of the people, why not out think TPTB instead of believing that they have ultimate control over every collective action you take? What is the point of living your life if you believe they have so much control over collective efforts like OWS?

I can't speak for him, but not being in a collective, it matters a lot less to me what they do with their collectives. The point of living is being yourself, not worrying over a collective. Collectives don't matter in the least until they start to infringe on you.

OWS is a collective hell bent on forcing individuals into their collective and assimilating them. Eventually, they will matter as they go along that path, but right now they don't. The objective at present is to insure that they meet with minimal success in the absorption of the individuals that make up humanity.

The less success they meet with in that endeavor, the less they will matter.

In short, they can control that collective all they like, and it won't matter to me in the slightest as long as I stay on the outside of it.

At occupy KC, George Soros didn't plan our rallies, he didn't organize our credit union campaign, he didn't decide when to have our marches, he didn't donate tents and food for the occupiers. Neither did Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, or any other politician.

Supporting is not the same thing as controlling/co-opting.

OccupyCoMo is sworn to non violence

Occupy Como keeps a Clean Camp ALWAYS. Our Occupy Como Group is at the new City Hall in Columbia Missouri,in the middle of the downtown area and highly visible. We refer to our camp as Liberty Plaza. The local business owners have been very good in letting the group use their facilities as needed and there is no park type setting at our base of operations. Occupy Como has the ideal set up for everything and as a member of Occupy Como I can assure all reading here we are dedicated to keeping the area clean of all trash,proper sanitation practices,article management,sign management and more.We are small but our messages of change in all manners and ways that would help ALL are well received.

We are a mixture of TEA Party,Republicans,Libertarians,Blue Dog Democrats,Liberals,Green Party and other party lines but we all agree the current government system controlled by the Corporate Global Banking Elite is just not working.

Occupy Como does not allow drunken out of control under the influence people on site and if people get too out of line the local police are more than glad to help us out.

We do support all other Occupy Movements world wide but we are OUR OWN GROUP and as such keep OUR OWN standards of cleanliness and rules. We wish all groups could be as clean and thoughtful as our group.
