Oh and it's always a possibility that some of the former soviet nations that are majority Muslim have them left over even though they were supposed to surrender them to Russia (Kasakhstan for example).

We can intercept them and as far as I'm concerned a prime directive of the United States military should be to neutralize all nuclear attacks, which (as far as I know) to some extent they have done.

Nobody can # with the United States military, we have that responsibility. Now man up and use it to promote global human progress. People call the United States the "world police", so act like it. Nobody in the US wants to have a war with Iran or Al whateverthe#, I'm sick of all this bickering. We want stuff to do, we want jobs, we want to step forth into the future.

What the hell is wrong with people that they don't understand the basic concept of human progression?

Pakistan was giving the money we were aiding their military with to the Taliban we were fighting. We are supposed to trust them not to slip a nuke to some radicals? Also, they are thought to have a secret nuclear cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia.

Plus, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard for a country to buy one from North Korea.

The state of the Pakistan nuclear security is scary to say the least. Militants were able to capture a major Pakistani naval base, which they held for close to 18 hours.

Pakistan transports their nukes vehicles that arent designed for security. Those vehicles are lighty armored / not armed and there is very little security assigned to transport those nukes.

A country that produces nuclear weapons in terms of quantity, at least to me, gives the appearence of those nukes being a deterent. A country who wants to obtain only a few nuclear weapons tells me they are more concerned with the highest bidder or are committing to a plan that cannot be stopped once its started.

I really don't think any wants to dirty bomb the US, considering the crap it would bring for many nations. It can't possibly be in anyone's interest to provoke the superpower that is salivating at taking over the world. Can I even call the US a "superpower" on ATS anymore or will I get flamed?

If something happens to the US, or hell the world for that matter, anymore it is probably our doing. We should probably concentrate on taking our country back before they get too stupid. That's all we need right now, justification to take the world by force.

I think people need to stand up and protest any war the US wants to get into right now.

I think everyone here would agree that North Korean recent aggressive actions is by far the most serious threat to world with nukes at their disposal ready to fly. Kim will run out of conventional attention getters soon, and that of course leaves the North Korean nuclear weapons. Who knows what Kim will try next week ?

As for the OP article Israel is pulling the stings by testing public reaction for support of the action. Yet the article states no concrete basis other than pure speculation.the op article is clearly propaganda in it's rawest form

The OP article picks up where the Iran spy article left off, sort of a succession of events to lead to steer public opinion towards real military action for Iran when none are needed at this time. We only know what the media tells us; and if the media thinks that they can manipulate the public with pure propaganda they are mistaken. being in the Mil for 20+ this is propaganda badly written.

Exactly, SK is far superior to NK in every way. NK will fight because they have nothing more to lose but SK is waiting for them.

There's no need for a 'hidden' reason why the USA doesn't invade Russia, when an 'open' one exists - and you just listed it. Russia has almost as many nuclear weapons as the USA. That's what the Cold War was about.

The USA has history with Iran, let's remember that. It's not a new thing, it goes back to the Jimmy Carter days, the first Ayatollah and the US embassy hostages.
