Oh yes lots of subliminal's out there, and everybody is doing it from the government to corporation to people to people in the know, to even non humans. And off-course even reptilians.

But anyways people should get familiar with the past, and some of the things going on every time you turn on the TV or pretty much any medium of communication. How corporations got people to think smoking is cool, is a good place to start on understanding a little more about the heard mentality, and the subconsciousness mind.

You can find lots of vid's online about such things, and about the nature of the mind. But here is one more prevalent about a past not so long ago, and its fashion's.

And from the horses mouth. It's all what you call it, sometimes the clothes make the man.

And here is family guy bringing attention to it, in a more blatant way.

I was going to jump on the conspiracy band wagon until I noticed this... It does not apply to OWS given the fact it was uploaded a couple months BEFORE OWS even began. Unless Sharpie had prior knowledge of OWS and it being so huge a movement. Maybe Sharpie was targeting another protest group or all groups I dunno. But I would think Alex Jones should have noticed this and addressed it.

Sharpie was acquired by Newell Rubbermaid in 1992. Newell Rubbermaid is a fortune 400 company and the roots of it have been around since the 1850's. When I first started thinking about this without doing the research, I thought that Sharpie was just a company that was not at an elite level and that the message was not for us but for the elite...to show that Sharpie was on board with the elite's plan and wanted a place in it. Once I saw all of the history of what Sharpie is today, I see it as just a lame attempt to subdue the people, while at the same time letting the people know that they are trying it. It was obviously meant to be found.

The Sharpie today is only a brand - it is part of the elite. Oh and btw, I watched it the first time without knowing where to look. I saw the protesters but did not read the words without seeing it again, knowing where to look. Subliminal or not, the message is creepy and doesn't belong in advertisements. If anything, the signs should have read: "Buy More Sharpies". The fact that they didn't should hopeully wake more people up to what is really going on. We have been, are, and always will be manipulated as long as we stand for it.

Yes. Er, this.

Uploaded July 19th? Predictive programming.

Reptilians? But, no.

Our collective unconscious trying to let us know that our lizard-brain impulses are accelerating us toward an ugly and untimely end?

Yupper.

Could there be a more trivial conduit?

Probably, but you'd have to run a semiotic analysis on Spongebob, or somesuch crap.

NOT! The Stop Protesting sign in the commercial part is "Loud & Proud"..that is, it is easily perceivable. Subliminal means..."existing or operating below the threshold of consciousness.." therefore the commercial does not have a Subliminal message. Just like Prince's singing at the end on "Darling Nikki" on the Purple Rain album of 1984.....you can tell it is a message backwards, it is not hidden or obscured, it is blatant therefore it is neither Subliminal or "Backwards Masked". A true subliminal or backwards masked message is more like The Beatles "Revolution Number Nine" where the singer says: "Numbah Ni-ine, Numb-ah Ni-ine" if you say it just like it sounds forward (English accent and emphasis), then record and play it backwards, it says: "Turn me on Dead-mon, Turn me on Dead-mon" Now that's Subliminal. (Debatable as to whether it is considered "Backwards Masked" however) Flashing the "Stop Protesting" sign faster than it can be perceived would be considered Subliminal, but you would only be able to discern it if you stopped the film at the right time AND then and ONLY THEN saw it.

one - its NOT a subliminal message - stop deluding your selves

two - your tin foil hat is stifling you sense of humour and appreciation of irony

its a protest banner - telling you to stop protesting --- get it ???

I like that it says "Stop Protesting" and the kid in the front has the "NOW" poster, so it basically says:

Stop Protesting NOW!

Humor, stupidity, ignorance and charm are often used to cover up sinister acts. Oh Bush is stupid, Obama is charming, the press secretary doesn't know, and TV shows/movies/ads/etc. are being funny. We create these excuses to hide the facts to ourselves. There are consequences to everything, but we often label them with excuses and forget about it. Don't judge, simply see with an open mind on how these people and things affect the world. The truth is in front of you, once you learn to shut up and see it.

THIS IS A SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE if you are NOT in the know.

The message does seem to be "stop protesting peace". Maybe something to do with the upcoming FALSE peace the world will have for a short time under lucifer perhaps??

I also remember seeing this add a couple of months ago and do NOT recall the stop protesting sign, but I DO have a MEMORY of the spot.

I tend to agree that this is some weird form of predictive programming BUT the other symbols like that of the reptile are also telling.

Has anyone else noticed seeing A LOT of reptilian symbolism in many ads over the past several years or so?

You see evil exists and a lot of the ad agencies are steeped in "esoterica" it is part of the illuminst arsenal in attacking the human mind.

There was a documentary film about advertising agencies on PBS "independent lens" about a year or two ago and it was fascinating. It was called "Art & Copy", they interviewed some of the real major players in the ad agency world and some of those people err were much more like creatures in their mannerisms.

The great irony here is that you are furthering their message by talking about it. You have advertised their subliminal message over and over again to anyone who reads this. Do you see those words in your title? Reading those or hearing them is all it takes for the message to be conveyed. Sharpie made the commercial. You passed it along for them, as well as crafted it into a forum thread. What does that make you? Accessory to the crime?

To combat this effectively, you would have to come up with your own message and spread it. The message would have to be crafted (semantically) to convey the behavior or feeling to be transmitted, then it would have to be propagated.

What you and anyone who reads this is doing is giving more fire to Sharpie. Even I am adding to the trouble by responding with this one, as a side effect of trying to make my point.

The first question I have is, Of those people who saw the ad, how many would be influenced by it enough to change their behavior? How many protesters, first of all, would see it? How many would notice? How can we quantify (measure) the effect it has? How many times must it be seen to have a noticeable and significant effect?

SCRATCH THIS. I have an even better idea. It is very clever of them to do something like this. Why? Free advertising! Media whores all know how to do it: provoke a response and get viral reactions among people.

Sharpie saw the number of signs being made and thought they could create some controversy with this. It's working wonderfully. There is the chance that people will not buy their product due to this, but, most people aren't looking to protest anyway.

Hey Sharpie, congratulate your marketing team on a job well done!

Guys if you want to combat things of this type, you'll have to study their game first!

Hypnosis only works if you believe it works. This add is not subliminal, it is not evil, it is a commercial for a marker. Until you have some proof that this was done with bad intention, then your opinion on this means very little.

That made me stop and think for a second, very interesting.

And what exactly is your intention for stating this?

Has Anyone seen this Film about Subliminal Messages?.. called "Programming the Nation?"Came out out in August, Pretty good. If you haven't heard about it here's a link for the trailer

youtu.be...

And why does Sharpie even need a commercial?.. We all know what a sharpie is, if you need a good permanent marker Sharpie is the only way to go. Also, I have my ups and downs about what I think about Alex Jones, but that was a pretty good piece, and thanks Op for bringing it to my attention. Unfortunatley, it doesn't matter if they've been caught, the damage has already been done to those that are unaware.

I think you are wrong about this. The entire point of subliminal messaging is to implant an idea into your subconscious mind without your conscious mind realizing it. By uncovering the issue, your conscious mind realizes the subliminal message is there, defeating the purpose. Consciously saying that advertising companies are telling us to stop protesting is very different from the advertising companies actually subliminally telling us to stop protesting. I am wondering if maybe you are the one who needs to study their game...
