Men are missing. Certain men...with a certain dna are missing.

Ohh I know you will need a source. Working on that, but look at the missing men on the link OP provided us with all the missing females. I studied the victims, most were children by USA standards, but the men I studied, they were vulnerable. Check it out.

There have been a TON of posts in this thread saying it's race based. Read the previous page. All I'm saying is that I highly doubt there is some group out there running around killing aboriginal women because they are aboriginal.

No Baby alot of us arn't saying the killing's are racial.
The way the media and police handled it is.
I am not sure what country you are in but it happens all the time in the U.S.
But the media never fairly cover's what is truley going on.

Unless you live in that community you don't know.
I think some people are more shocked it happend in Canada.
With the lower crime rates and all.

I don't appreciate being referred to as 'baby'.

I stated that I felt the police were ignoring the crimes because the majority were committed against native women. I understand the posters who are saying that. What I don't understand are the posters saying the killings themselves were 'racially motivated'. Hell one person said he thought it was a plot to weaken the native gene pool.

For the record I live in WA state.

These aren't Aboriginal women... they are Inuit. Not that it makes any difference. Just thought that I should clarify.

The British Columbia Highway 16 murders/disappearances have been well known in law enforcement circles for some time now. Just because the media doesent report on it 24/7 does not mean that it's not getting any attention.

Believe it or not, only about 60% of murders are solved in Western countries like the US, Canada, UK, France, etc - this includes serial killers and I can assure you that there are at least two killers taking part is these abductions/murders of these women. The real world is not like CSI, NCIS, and Criminal Minds where they solve the case and catch the bad guy(s) in 45 minutes. In the real world many of these bad guys don't get caught, it is very, very difficult to solve serial killings especially one like this in such a remote area where law enforcement is spread far and thin.

Its good to see this being discussed on this board. I would like to say that last year I became interested in the Pickton case. I did some research and found the story very peculiar. Pickton himself is slow as in mildly retarded. It very difficult to believe that he accomplished these murders on his own. It is rumoured in BC that the Pickton murderers are linked with the Hells Angeles. As you see he had an after hours bar in a barn on his farm that HA would frequent. There is a great deal of corruption between the RCMP and the Hells Angles in BC. It is rumoured that they were creating snuff films, and that the Highway of Tears is another hunting ground. They pray on women that no one will miss, prostitutes, drug addicts, and unfortunately these are problems within the aboriginal community. Anyways just thought I would throw it out there. Cheers

I am a mother of 5 so when I state it that way its outta a loveing place. I apologize that it came out wrong.
And I agree with you. Every serial killer has their type of pray. Which most people are seeming to forget.
Just as when we look for a mate we have a type we are attracted to.

If this white woman is from this same person that would blow that out of the water.
I think he lives with in that region and these woman he has easy access to with out putting to much heat on himself. Same as people who hunt for food, they hunt what is demagraphicaly available to them.

You live closer to the locality did you happen to hear anything about this years ago.
I live in Baltimore, so unless the Media finds it news worthy I dont get that kinda info.

You know what I actually figured you weren't being condescending, I was just being grumpy and am sorry for making an issue of it.

I don't recall ever hearing anything about this highway, which is rather surprising considering how close I rally am to it. I'm halfway tempted to drive up next weekend and start asking locals if they have more info. I found what another poster said about the Hell's Angels interesting, but I sort of doubt that's the case.

I believe that you don't know what you are talking about!! Aboriginals (Native Americans AKA Indians) live in B.C. There is the Haida Gwii & Tlingit people, just to name a couple found in that area! In fact Aboriginal populations live as far north as Inuvik, NWT (Gwich'in Nation) and then as far west as Alaska! The Gwich'in and Inuit populations had been warring for thousands of years over traditional lands and resources, resulting in the Inuits being kept to live on the ice covered sea, Tundra and Barren lands on the east side of the Northwest Territories. In 1999 the Inuit seperated from the Northwest Territories to become its own Territory called Nunavut!

You should check up your facts before trying to correct anyone......just saying!

Its Ok its a Hot topic and hard to offend me.
I wish I could go up there too, OMG I would give em hell.
All those women just swept under the rug. It makes you think what else got swept under too.

The hells angel thing not sure about. I know nothing about them or how they operate.
But if it was something like that their would be more women and a much longer trail.
Not enough women for that kinda of area and that type of operation.

This serail killer isn't in it for money. Sounds a little too controled to be a money operation.
They need to put a real profile up on this thread for us.

Hell's Angels is organized crime syndicate that has heavy police involvement and Rez, the Wild West, involvement as well. And cia affiliation. This is known for sure. Anything to the contrary is just BS.

No - the victims have been being investigated for a long time - see en.wikipedia.org... - the RCMP had an indepth investigation some time before 2007 when the report was releases that determined there was some connection between at least 18 of them.

Sadly, the "profile" of young women hitch hiking in isolated areas is a common one for missing person cases all around the world.....eg the Back packer murders in Australia, the Kemper murders in California.

This site, "Hitckiwi" says ther is actually little difference in "interfernce rates" betwen male and femail hitch hikers New Zealand - but perhaps men don't report it as much?

I wonder if that is true on this highway in Canada - how many men have been killed along it in the same time period??

Actually that was one o my first thoughts as well. Not sure if it was brought up already in thread as I only read the first 5 pages and the last 3. Lets look into the feet and see if they were women's.

I'm sorry these murders I read in 'deeppolitics' sound less like the work of an underground cult as they do the work of less organized individual serial killers.

I bet there are a lot of drunk drivers up there so I imagine a large percentage of the missing hitchhikers were victims of hit and runs. Their remains would have been quickly removed and eaten by bears, cougars, wolves etc.
