my two cents: a person of faith would pass on Ouija, tarot cards, fortune tellers, all such things. some people seek and some people find. a person of faith would not want to risk contacting the unholy. its part of the parcel of some peoples faith. by warning these people against seeking there is also a built-in control; whether it is with good intent or meant to mis-lead is not for me to interpret. i'm just sharing what i've been exposed to in younger days.

How do you know Jesus was not a demon?
He disrupted the old hebrew way of doing things...sure, it seemed reasonable, however, isn't that sort of how demons work according to what you just said?

Sounds good, lets trash the former words of god because some guy said this, and supposedly did some magic stuff...also seems to be constantly channeling someone he tells us is God, and actually, he is now telling us to worship him and he will then serve as some sort of bridge to god directly

I'm not really sure if they're dangerous or not but I'd have to say probably not, I've played it a few times when I was a kid and nothing weird happened, and one of those times I was the kid moving it so..

However!

I have heard about one experience from a very good long time friend that was quiite interesting, I'm going to do my best to remember that story and tell it here. Whether or not the events were a coincidence I don't know but my friend is trustworthy and I don't believe the story itself was made up.

Okay so, something like this. A group of them decided to play the Ouija Board, they began asking some questions and were getting answers, at this point no one thought anything of it really, assuming one of the others was moving the thing. (I forget the exact questions asked and it's killing me, when my friend gets back from tree planting out west next month I'll try to remember to ask him for all the details). Anyway one girl decided to ask the board more difficult questions, ones that only she of the group knew the answers too, and the correct answers kept coming, so now it was getting a bit more weird. Somehow the topic got to her boyfriend(who was not present during this) and the "ghost/entity" suddenly told her it had hurt her boyfriend, that it had pushed him while he was playing basketball and hurt his ankle. Freaked out by this she called her boyfriend right away and to everyones shock it was true, just before she called he had fell and sprained his ankle, and he even told her it was weird because he felt like he was pushed, before she told him about what the Ouija Board had said!

All those people who played the Ouija board that day swear it's all true and swear they will never touch a Ouija board again. Take it for what you will, I for one believe anything is possible, who knows maybe the ghost had nothing to do with the board, it was just there and took the opportunity to mess with some people?

I actually had a bad experience with the ouija board. One night i was using it at my girlfriends house and later when i went to bed, the radio station i was listening to went from r&b to death metal and the closet doors were sliding open. The next day i shredded it and burned it! No more problems.

Even to Christians one of the hardest things to wrap your head around is how God could be in the flesh but yet seemingly a seperate person, still knowing all the things of God, what is says the full knowledge of God.

I think this is where the anger of those condemned stems from, that they can never know the things of God because the seeked not to know it, but pursued after their own lusts. God is the creator this perfect crucible.

Not quite. If you actually read the Gospels, they pretty well document how Jesus himself was "infected" by the very demons he and his followers would cast out of people to raise money. He essentially admits to working in conjunction with the demon Be'elzebub to do his miracles, including necromancy, which people did not like at all. Jesus's claims that he was as good a sorcerer as Solomon, as well as his physical attack on the moneychangers in the Temple, were some of the biggest reasons he was arrested and killed. Even his followers wondered if he was insane.

So rather than use the name of Jesus to control demons, it's much better to use other, older methods such as the pentagram ring and water jug, and control them through the use of the names and numbers of their dominant angels. New Testament demon control is iffy, at best.

I have a ouija board which I have been able to use with only a few people. It does not operate alone but I have a mystic circle which one can use alone and it does seem to work as well as a Chinese mystery hand which needs only one person to operate it.

I never found any of ouija's messages true but I did find that it would zip across the board with great speed to write out answers to questions.

It is only dangerous if you let it be dangerous. You can decide that it is for real or not according to your experience. I have found very few people or boards able to truly predict a future or even the past. But people continue to spend money trying to learn things that probably they would be better off deciding for themselves instead of letting a stranger, or a board tell them.

Why is it that people continue to believe that some spirit or some person can know more than you know yourself? Would you ask your mother? Father? Brother? Sister? Best Friend these same questions?

Would they know any better than you know yourself?

It is just a game. Why do people play poker, solitaire? or any other game, baseball, football, etc. all of which we know are dangerous for particpants.

Well, not quite. He essentially claimed he was greater than Solomon, particularly when it came to working with demons.

ignore these morons replying like ouija is nothing- the board itself is nothing, its merely a tool - you can use other things and make your own tool to contact the spirit world/energy and I know for a fact that it works if the energy is right and you have a group of believers with you that share positive and believing energy - no one actually even does to touch the board if the energy is strong enough. however make sure u know what you are doing. it is not a childs game if u do it and it works for you.

Well..remember it's just my opinion ;-) First of all i believe there is some truth in it..why?
The board in itself is not dangerous, you can make it yourself from a paper or whatever or you
can buy someone from ebay of whatever..like i did.
It's the WAY you make contact that counts! I never believed in this but it was my random research
on internet and the tales i heard from friends that made me decide to buy an ouija board..just for fun;
It's true that the ideo-motor effect comes in when you play with it BUT..there are too many weird things
that happen (maybe in some cases) that you cannot explain with that ideo-motor effect..like windows and
doors that open, strange things that never happened before...people who get literally nuts and end up
in hospital and worse! friends who don't play with it anymore because they are too scared because they
played with it in the past.. There are a lot of 'down to earth' people that i know who told me there tales..and
i know...that is not EVIDENCE...but ask yourself..are they all lying? ..plus you can easely try it yourself, not
for 5 minutes but instead give it an hour..thats all..try it! again sorry for my bad bad English, i hope you understand what i mean.. grtz!
