You really think that if God knows all things, past, present, future, that it is not accounted for that they would and was purposed to demonstrate what happens when you do, it isnt so much that God does it to be vengeful in any sense its that its something you do yourself, setting yourself above the knowledge of God, being a part of God. And its was not half why not do some research yourself instead of what your doing.

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Psalm 10:6
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

John 7:38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

It's not the piece of wood and bits of plastic...it's the INTENT with which you use them.

And I would NEVER use one again with an intent to invite any otherworldly entity!

in new age/psychic circles, ouija boards are known as a spectral "kick me" sign. people think they are a toy. they aren't. most people i know don't use them because they tend to fall into a "gray" area. some people have used them wrong & had unwelcome spirits come through and cause them problems. there are alot of divination tools you can use. tarot cards, runes, i ching, ect. marion weinstein has a good section about boards in her book positive magic.

This may or may not have been covered as I don't have the time at the moment to read through all the posts.

However, what few I did look at, I see there are a lot of skeptics on the forum. Over the years I have done several hundred investigations into claims of paranormal activity and once in a while I run into the Ouija Board issue. Mind you everything we do is scientific based and once in a while we do run into things we cannot explain.

The board:

What is it's one and only purpose?
You guessed it, to open a window or door to the unknown. (If it exists)

I have had 2 cases in particular where the client lied to us about their activities using Ouija Boards along with experimenting with the black arts. It is my personal opinion playing with this board with the mindset of opening up a door or window just may do just that.

I have been investigating the paranormal for many years. Even before all the TV shows ruined it. I have found we have more questions than answers. I have seen, heard, video'd and recorded things that defy explanation. Can I prove it? Absolutely not! However, over the years I have seen science coming closer and closer to explaining these things. I would say 97% of everything can be explained scientifically.

Bottom line: Be careful what you ask for. There are a lot of things closed minds are missing.

Sorry if I don't get back on here to see any fallout from this post. I don't have a lot of free time these days.

And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Exactly! He doesn't deny it. He justifies his actions (using Be'elzebub as a tool) as putting the forces of evil against themselves with the "spirit of God" as his motivation. "Divide and conquer," as it were. That's just craziness talking. As skilled as Jesus might have been at dealing with demons, even he couldn't avoid becoming contaminated.

Anything can be dangerous lol.

It's the people that's usually the problem.

Words can cause the death of millions.

Jesus was nothing short of the direct son of God the closest thing we will ever have to know God, in the flesh. Your fault finding with a lack of true understanding, because you dont not have faith, or know him. If you did you would have fear of him, not because of what he can do ( for self gratification), but because of the righteous judgment of God.

The reason I know its true is because I understood fully what he did, without even knowing hardly anything but stories from the Bible from childhood memories, I understood how he literally transcended the physical through his death so when we die our souls will live. This was my experience, but its alot deeper than that.

And this is because its the fufilling of a plan, not his but Gods. So that our suffering is an image of his tribulation, death, and finally resurrection of spirit. And I can prove it all with scripture.

Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

hey guys,

Do you think that Ouija board is dangerous to use?
I tried once but nothing happened.
Perhaps some of you tried it out and had experienced something great.
I searched the net for other people's experiences but most of them look fake. It's hard to trust the net lol.

What do you guys think? Does it work and is it really dangerous?

It's probably faulty, take it back to where you bought it from and ask for an exchange
or refund.

I wouldn't recommend using one, i personally will never use one haha. My mum used one when she was little and one of the windows in the room started shaking and cracked. I know some people say that they're fake but i cant see how you could fake a cracked window, especially when my mums family couldn't just afford a new window at the snap of their fingers.

I burned a Necronomicon in my backyard.

*shrugs*

Ouija boards are entertainment pieces made out of wood or cardboard.

From what I've observed it can be. I don't believe in ghosts, but the Bible says that there are entities not human that have no salvation, so when they die, they have no where to go.

Jude 1:12-13

These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

I peronaly think that you should not tempt fate. With that said everyone who is saying that they don't work or can't work is this an opinion or is it from actual encounters with the board? I would be courious if those who post it will not work state if it is an opinion or a experiance. thanks

Well, since science doesn't address this topic, you are not going to get a definitive answer that satisfies the majority. The only legitimate source of information for discussions that fall into this category are the first-hand experiences of witnesses.

In my experience, most will tell you that it is dangerous. I estimate the percentage of those who have had strange and even scary happenings, resulting from the use of the device in question, and who will advise against its use, to be about 70%. That's purely speculation, but judging by the number of reports I have read, I feel that is relatively accurate when referring only to those who have had experiences while using the device.

I have no first-hand experience, but my family says that my aunt's house became haunted after her daughter experimented with the device when she was young. I know the house to be haunted, because I have been there on quite a few occasions.

Very strange things happen there, including typical paranormal happenings such as cabinets and doors opening/closing, lights going on/off, shadows, and on one occasion a whole sandwich was found in the bathroom trashcan...and they did not have the type of bread or meat that composed the sandwich inside the house. A lot of strange noises emanated from the attic as well, among other happenings that are typical of hauntings.

Since the house did not appear to be haunted before the use of the board, and definitely was after the fact, putting two and two together obviously equals four. I do not know of anything that happened to the girl herself, but then again I never asked.

So from what I have read and heard, online, in books, and from people I know, I would conclude that they are dangerous devices, and that anyone who uses one without having experienced anything negative should count themselves lucky.

I do not know if it is the board itself, or the collective idea of the board that allows spirits to communicate and come through it, but I would speculate that it is simply the idea and belief of the board's properties that allow this to occur. Again, this is purely speculation on my part.

As I posted earlier in this thread, I've used the Ouija multiple times, in multiple locations, with multiple people, and nothing outside the ideomotor effect ever occurred. Also I've been reading some of the studies done on them, and again, no paranormal activities occurred. I guess it's possible that scientific minded people just aren't conducive to being approached by these spirits? Personally, I think it's just in people's heads, imagination and paranoia are pretty powerful.

And there it is, the biggest flaw in the myth ever.

God is good..sure, whatever
God knows all things, past, present, future...there is nothing he does not know...there is no gambling.
Yet, the bible is riddled with such things...God doesn't know what is going on, he simply cannot know the future anymore than I can (granted, he may be able to guess a bit more, but otherwise..)

And to suggest he does, means simply God is evil.

Evil, disgusting creature that deserves not praise, but scorn and an answering to his crimes against humanity.

If he knows the future, infallable, he knows then every single person whom is damned, that they would be damned for eternity...and that makes him a sick and twisted bastard for even popping such a person into existance.

There can be no free choice so long as there is a deity that "knows it all"..period..the end..there is no rebuttal for this without being completely delusional and dishonest with yourself.

Revelation 21:8

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Strange god you have
You, being fearful of him, means you will be hanging out in the lake
Hey, I wonder if they have ATS in hell...then we can debate about other stuff.

incidently, If I met a deity face to face...I find it difficult to think I would fear it...I am actually quite comfortable with who I am and would probably simply thank him (if it turned out he was responsible for life of course) and then perhaps talk about this dimension a bit from my perspective...I am sure he would be interested in hearing the perspective of a small human...I would be interested in hearing the perspectives of a flea..so sure, why not.

But fearful? meh, if he plans on toasting me for eternity because I touched my bits or whatnot, then that is going to happen, be it me standing tall, or crying and crapping my pants...if the outcome is the same, might as well stand.

This deity sounds very ego driven.

When I was 15, a few friends and I were playing in his dads business(after hours) and we asked a bunch of questions I do not remember.

What I do remember is that thing moving slowly as it spelled out its replies, and then VERY fast with other question....ie...who are you, and where are you from.

This really was disturbing to all of us. One of my friends was very skeptical and started to mock whatever was responded to our inquiries, and the hand piece violently shot across the room.

Needless to say, we were literally terrified like 3 little girls, and left that place immediately..........P.S. I foolishly asked it when I was going to die, and it told me 2032...... I think about all the time.

Do not open such a door. You could be very sorry you did.

P.S.S. This is no joke.
