More idiots causing chaos leaving tax payers footing the bill for repairs. Bunch of assholes.
Well done

All of those caught on camera i would prosecute for criminal damage and jail them, the ones that have been caught doing the damage.
Next it'll become terrorist headlines.

Also i would like to point out the ring leaders? Same as the G20 protesters perhaps? Carefully orchestrated.
Is London really part of the UK anymore? Really?

Actually, the UK exists in name only now.....Cameron gave it to the EU. It is no longer a sovreign nation, just a source of slaves for the EU Zionist predators.

Show them that we can bring London to a standstill.

I very much doubt that that is going to happen.

The problem with protests in the modern-day, is that they are useless. They are just a method of letting of steam, and making the protester feel like they are ''doing something''.

People depend on the State too much to cause any serious problems. They are not going to bite the hand that feeds them.

Right, so let's just sit down and take it all.

Attention Westerners!

You are not better after all. You need to be of a better station in life to attain such wealth and great knowledge that you have just expected. Now, it is time for you to go back to factories and mining like the good little proles you were in the Industrial Revolution. The immigrants need to go back to their third world nations so that you can take back the menial jobs they have been doing for the last generation or so. By the way, the greatly reduced price they allowed us to pay them due to their lack of training, education and wretched situation will now be passed back to you, almost completely ignoring the social progress of the 1800 and 1900s. That is all passed back to you now.

That is all.

I agree with your post totally. We have a Government front bench, made up of multi millionaires, telling us 'We're all in this together' But of course that's a load of bollocks.
If our dear Government, for instance, pursued big company tax evaders as they do benefit cheats, we would be in a much healthier position for a start!

Saw it this morning on the news. I immediately felt some kind of dualistic sadness crawling over me because of the fact what a grip money has on people, but as specially students and why people feel that rage is the only way to go...

The second part of my sadness was because I thought ... why it always comes down at fighting and or destroying property. A girl that was interviewed said they wanted to make the conservatives run for costs as the students are also going to need to pay more for there educations...that in my opinion is circular thinking that leads nowhere.

At some points I can understand students acting like this. At the other hand my mind ponders over the idea of how it could be approached differently.

Kind regards,

T.W.

Ah,I saw the usual shrill cries of "jail those hooligans!!!" and the whole "Get a job."And "vote the bums out." rants that seem to appear in any thread about protests.Sadly many people have been getting screwed over by the government for so long that they think it's just the way it is.Don't rock the boat and keep your head down and blindly vote for who they tell you.I'M glad these kids have begun to resist and protest I hope that soon our own apathetic population will also wake up and I don't mean the co-opted Tea party,We here in the sates and UK need to overthrow the current society and start anew...

Rioting, smashing cars, stealing goods and starting fights with the police may make people on the ground feel better, and soothe their hatred towards whatever big shady power that they are rioting against, but in reality the only purpose it serves it to make the ones on the ground look like blood hungry savages, thus damaging their stance on their subject.

There may be a time for violence in some situations, but a protest on a public street near people who have no idea what is going on is certainly not the place.

Exactly the point i was trying to make.
All of this is solely about student fees. The protest has nothing whatsoever to do with anything else.
Some on this thread giving me crap about my views in regard to throwing fire extinguishers off buildings that its bang out of order, yet im getting crap?

Im apparently a hypocrite?
Some people on here giving it all mouth, they talk the talk but they dont walk the walk. Heres a challenge to those who would like to prove me wrong. If a thread was posted here on ATS (which for some ATS is the center of their little universe) to set up a mass global demonstration/protest to get the truth into the open. All topics covered, no stone unturned and make the general public aware of whats really going on in every aspect. Would they even take part?
Naaaaaaah didnt think so.
Because at the end of the day all mouth no action.
Twitter?
Facebook?
All social networking sites? Naaaah to all.

The reason? Because all mouth.
Go on, make your voices heard about everything thats really going on?
Truth is they wont.
They only like to sound good on here but as soon as they log off and turn off they go back to the same old same old.

Hmmmm no takers?
No suprise there then. maybe i should start by making a direct appeal to those with all the mouth?

No one to take a stand on the soap box declaring the truth to the masses? Typical

I was a student at that manifestation yesterday and I can assure you that most of us didn't just go to 'get pissed and have a laugh' as you say. We went there to fight for our education rights and the rights of those who would want to enter higher education after us. It is estimated that there were around 50,000 of us and the violent actions of the idiots that were smashing up windows represented the tiniest minority i.e. about 35 people. I would hardlbreedthy say that is representative of even a minority of the students manifesting yesterday. I was there all day and walked the length and breadth of the entire protest and didn't see any violence or drunken behaviour of any kind, until this stupid incident occurred. In fact, people really felt passionate and believed in the cause we were protesting for, and are angry that the attention has been moved away from the whole point of protest. But then again, that's what the government wanted, to turn public opinion against the students using the as always sensationalist news channel Sky News.

Considering I have just left university I suppose I should give my opinion of these events.

I was at university for 3 years, first studying Media Professional Studies and then Sociology, but I had to leave before my course was finished because of family issues. So here I am, approaching 22 years of age and approximately £18,000 in debt, and because of my situation I have nothing to show for it.

That's just the way the cookie crumbles and I accept that, but thinking about how terrible my situation would have been had I been born a few years later is enough to give me nightmares!

So when I see images like this...

...I'm thankful that there are still some people left in this country that are willing to stand up for what they believe in.

As the old saying goes; If you want to make an omelette you have to be prepared to break a few eggs.

Stuck up kids in posey designer gear who want the world on a stick.

I don't believe in the cuts, but I don't agree violence is the way to get what you want.

What's worse is taht it shouldn't GET violent, because all the people there won't be affectd by the tuitioin fee increases.

Way to make progress, people - just take us back to the 1980's why don't you.

Fair point, but........
what i was angered by was the mindless tool throwing the fire extinguisher off the roof. Could of quite easily been a different story on the news today.
Could have hit a protestor or a police officer. Some fail to realize that beneath the label is a human being. I stand by what i say, i cant support that behaviour at all.
Protest by all means, break a few eggs but dont let something you feel passionate about lead to utter stupidity. Thats what i say anyway.
If that was my son or daughter who had thrown that i would have kicked their arse myself then dragged them down to the police myself.

Nice!

Looks like the next generation aint gonna take no beep, unlike the last who just moan and talk on the internet how bad things are but dont actually do anything

One thing i thought was strange was that the police didnt jump in and start battering them all with batons like they usually do, but then again maybe they know how these guys feel with them facing cuts too.

It all so wouldnt suprise me if the police planted some people in amongst the protesters to start the violence, It wouldnt be the first time.

I agree, mindless violence is not the answer. I did get the feeling, when watching the footage on the news, that a good number of the protesters on the scene had merely turned up so they could smash something. Like I said, I commend those fighting for something they believe in, not those just fighting.

Maybe they didnt because of the last time when the gentleman died after being pushed over. Also they were well out numbered and it would have been a riot not a protest.
