No problem I thought you meant the original thread. I didn’t realize there was another longer one.

I looked at that picture, and I don’t see what you mean. The contrail at the end is the important point. If the contrail is climbing into the upper atmosphere the light of the setting sun will still shine on it with a bright white color as the light is not diffused by the same amount of atmosphere that the rest of the contrail is colored by.

In this supposed “rocket launch” the end of the contrail is dark, meaning that its running parallel to the surface heading west into the shadow of the earth. If it were climbing into space it would appear bright white.

Additionally, rockets or missiles produce noctilucent clouds when they stage:

For what its worth, my son, senior aircraft technician, just looked at the video. His words?

" Thats not an aircraft, if that means its a missile, then its a missile".

I like his simplicity.

You're claiming that it has been 'settled' since Zorgon posted some similar photos of a very rare event where a jet contrail resembles a missile trail.

Actually no... it was the post that proves it doesn't resemble a missile trail
www.abovetopsecret.com...

But we need confirmation of what flight it was, it's heading, what airlines, and such. The fact that the military, FAA, Norad, and all related agencies can't confirm or link data is making people uneasy.

Flight was already posted US Air flight 808 was in the right place at the right time, at the right altitude and was captured again tonight... it's in the thread

My only guess is someone with a lot of money to possibly make or hold some of these missiles, even though it was in the ocean, it could like I said,be from someone with a lot of money that has a big boat? I dunno, the main point here is that this doesnt make me feel very safe

The trail in this video looks NOTHING like any Jet Contrail I've seen. Sit at any Airport near the LAX and watch planes take off all day, all month if you wish. NONE will appear like this.

You're right, especially about the contrails.. I lived in the So. Bay area of Manhattan Beach south to Redondo Beach. I think San Pedro has more fog. I can remember driving across the bridge south into San Pedro in the early evening and it was totally socked in. I was driving through a cloud. I couldn't see anything except part of the bridge rails. I think it's more cloudy in the evening. I can remember a lot of fog in Santa Monica too. Heck, I forgot about all the fog when I lived there. Even the beach area would get it. It's been 18 years. Guess where there's fog, there's humidity. dah

But, I did work in Inglewood right on Sepulveda by the tunnel with the runway on top. I could see the jets from the office windows. I tend to waiver a little on this issue, but I really have never seen plane contrails that look like this. And the spinning is so evident in the video a few pages back. I too remember sitting in the car when the jets would fly overhead. Damn they were close...and loud.
.
I said it before and I'll say it one more time...planes don't spin. They're covering this one up. Maybe it was in some ritual honor of Kennedy being elected. Anyway, thanks for the confirmation on the LAX contrails. I'm 99.9% convinced it was a MISSILE. Just not one large enough to have huge stage explosions, unless we just didn't see them.

Your URL is malformed. Correct it and let's see.

It's not a ******* contrail.

if that was contrail from an airplane why would FAA or any agency deny it. they all said they didn't know wth it was so it is not an airplane. did china launch it? lol, we're the only country with the time and money to play around with acts of war. matter fact, we go to war just to test our godlike weaponry and crappy sad troops, the two compensate.

it didn't show on radar so it had to be stealth, it looked like a missile launch so it probably is a missile. it's a stealth missile, imagine what you can do with these puppies, annihilate a country without them even seeing it coming. according to my uneducated opinion, it's an accidental launch of a stealth missile from that navy base you see in google earth.

tomorrow it will be explained away as an airplane on every news channel and everyone would just shut their pie hole about it and it will never be mentioned again.

Great, its flight 808..

We'll just ignore all the early news and cameraman that said it was heading west and other posters that pointed out flight 808 was 120klm north.
It a contrail, case closed

Just out of curiosity i would like to add this to your thread. I find it unusual that this isnt mentioned considering the location and lack of media attention.
www.theepochtimes.com...
The Carnival cruise ship Splendor has been stranded off the coast of Ensenada in Baja California, Mexico, since Monday morning, after it lost its propulsion. No injuries have been reported, and Coast Guard public affairs officer Pamela Mannstold told The Epoch Times that Coast Guard cutter Morgenthau has been with the ship since 2 a.m. to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew.

Carnival Cruise Ships has contracted two tug boats to transport Splendor back to its home in Long Beach, California.

The Coast Guard said that no injuries, flooding, or other related emergencies have been reported on the Splendor.

The 952-foot cruise liner was en route from Long Beach, Calif., to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, when a fire was found in the rear engine, causing the generators to fail.

All around the same time? Again?
The last time i posted a thread regarding a ship that had to list to avoid an object in the water around the same time frame as the deep water horizon disaster?
Could this have some part in the missile?
Please remove if you feel.
Just thought id put to you all.
There was a film cant mind the name. Regarding a cruise ship and an imminent threat.
Maybe something maybe nothing.
However some may say its out of the way but who's to say missiles are limited to a certain area?

I actually grew up in the LAX area...on West Manchester. Like I said before, I NEVER saw a contrail look like that and I grew up with them. But apparently in rare circumstances they can.

Both are a possibility and even someone who has seen thousands of plane and missile contrails can be wrong.

Right now I am just waiting for the FAA to confirm what plane it was. I think they'll say sometime tomorrow to end the confusion.

But almost everyone I know from my area would say this looks like every missile test they've seen from VAFB...or anywhere off the L.A. Coatstline.

Because they are looking for anything out of the ordinary and nothing unusual is showing up on their records. That supports the fact that it was a normal flight that they were tracking.

Why am I surprised?
I said it would be called a plane 40 pages ago

And BTW, there is still NO official word.
I've had enough though it was a great, civil debate which is great!!

Is it really only me that thinks that theres something of relevance here? A little more than a coincidence....so to speak? Date? Location? Lack of media attention?
Speaking of media, why does it seem like everything is pre recorded? Even the live interviews are wrong, the video and audio are running at different times? The speech before their lips move?

If it was heading west the trail would get brighter as it moved into sunlight
If it was a rocket going up the trail would get very bright as it moved into the sunlight at high altitude
If it was moving east it would get darker as it moved into earth's shadow

But we could just toss all science out the window and go another 100 pages

It's been fun, but your right... case closed. I am going to bed

So there are only two possibilities.

It’s either a plane, that the FAA and domestic institutes aren’t admitting too.
Or its a missile, be it fired from friend or foe no one knows. But we, and our allies aren’t admitting up to it.

Whichever way you look at it, something’s not right.

This has gone viral, surely someone on the plane 'if it was a plane' is laughing at the ongoing debate.
Someone like that would have been found by now, and paraded on the MSN like it was another boy in the balloon saga.

It sure looked like a missile, and if it was a plane, then why hasn’t something like this been seen multiple times before all over the world in similar climatic conditions?

Now, there are only a number of nations (apart from the US) that have the technological capability to perform such a launch.

You know what I can’t get out of my mind, Cheney and those 'accidently' transported nuclear missiles across the US in 2007.

Or maybe, just maybe... it was one of ours... but we didnt do it?

The U.S. military is looking into an incident on Saturday in which it lost communications with 50 long-range nuclear-armed missiles based in the northern United States.

The U.S. Air Force's new Global Strike Command lost communications with the missiles for about 45 minutes, and says it immediately dispatched troops to inspect the sites. The check determined there was no damage and no evidence of sabotage

Hell, it was only the other week we lost control of a crap load of the bug'rs
