I am not really sure where you are getting at. If you are asking whether your missile video looks like orginal footage to me I would have to say no. However there was a spaceshuttle video some pages back it,and I think it looks very similar to that. With more emphasis on the nose glow of it

But even if it was it doesn't matter. There are plenty of people right here who insist it wasn't a jet contrail.

Most here are not "insisting" as you suggest, except maybe you and a few others.
I would have accepted contrail if the information was released 24hours or so ago.
Now it would be tough to accept for sure.
You would have to admit someone is trying to make this a mystery.

I believe it to be a 'secret' launch, and i find it odd the FAA know nothing about it. Pilots/Airlines are always updated with NOTAMS, which will explain why the area where the object was seen was effectively a 'no fly zone' for 5 hours. I believe this cannot be authorized without the FAA's knowledge.

I agree with you doyle, that's why everyone is going nuts here. I have not seen an 80+ page thread this quick here on ATS since at least last weeks doomsday prediction thread!!

But seriously, I think everyone is in agreement here, that the US gov could have stepped on this super quick, but have for soem reason chosen not to!

Thanks Jackius I was starting to think this thread had become elitist and tunnel visioned. I think there should at least be some discussion as to why things have been reported on main news networks in this strange way.

The NOTAM was effective starting at 12:00 noon LA time...today. The incident happened yesterday.

Area 537 is north of LA, offshore between Vandenberg and Santa Barbara.

To me this seems like a message.

It had no target. Watching it's trajectory makes this clear... unless of course the target was the upper atmosphere, in which case, it hit it's target, lol.

Think for a moment. If you had a nation and wanted another nation to know you had the ability to screw with it... how would you deliver this message?
Words are meaningless.
Personally, I'd launch an ICBM right off that nations coast with no actual target. Just launch it and let it soar overhead aimlessly.

It was US Air flight number 808. Or the UPS flight, but the UPS flight is more likely.

aww I thought we were set on flight 808! We need to make up our minds here.

I'm sorry guys but as I said earlier, I have seen hundreds of missile tests from L.A. and literally thousands of jet contrails.

Almost all my being says that this does NOT look like any jet contrail I've seen, and it looks IDENTICAL to every missile test I've seen.


Like I said before, when we were kids, missile tests from Los Angeles were a normal part of life. As 10 year olds we knew how to distinguish them. This was at a time in the 80's when these things were weekly.


Could I be wrong? Of course. But I think something funny is going on here and not just an 'optical illusion'.
Again, this is just based on my somewhat 'expertise' on the issue, but I have no empirical proof. My skeptical side says to stick to a rational explanation, but the "rational" explanation to me now is simply.....MISSILE.

Don't worry it does get like that sometimes, especially when you get 2 or 3 member in a heated discussion. everyone else just scrambles to catch up, and post ad hoc, and some other material gets lots in the pages of BS arguing and tit for tat name calling. and most, especially in a thread this size will not read all pages and I don't blame them as most is just waffle!!

cant believe im saying this but the Mexican cartel could easily be a possibilty, after all it is not impossible just improbable.
Lets stretch it out and say it was Mexican Cartel why would they? well the US has amped up its forces with thm seizing more drug shipments, recently killing another drug lord.

Both arizona and off the coast of california are accesible by Cartel members.

They have boats, and subs.

They definatly have the money to attain such weapons from say NK, Iran China.

These were clearly a msg from someone to someone all im saying is its a remote possibilty.
