Yes. I find being called a liar offensive. I think most people do.

Well norad should check ATS, will be interesting to see how long it takes them to figure it out.

Greeneyedleo already gave us the Norad report...
They know what it was but are not telling us. Probably because they have a chain of command to follow when making any official statement

You're going to have to break this down a bit for the mathematically challenged among us.
What relation are the lat. and long. to those elements?

Yes, It looks US Air flight 808. Same time as yesterday.

Sad,

ATS members can solve a mystery our own government security forces can't, congrats,

I feel safe......not

And why should i believe it was a flight 808? we have no proof nor evidence.
Yet people are believing the media now

talk about deny ignorance!

I am now laughing my ass off. This is too funny. Jet contrail becomes massive media cover up of missile launch!!

And they call us conspiracy theorists "gullible" Wow! They are about to swallow so much BS!

Just imaging if this missile fired on 11/6, all the ATS would go crazy.

Was this flight in this area at this time or not?

If so then why is it so implausible to you that it was not the object observed?

I think there is a virtually zero chance of this NOT being ours. My reasoning is brutally simple: Because we haven't taken direct responsibility for it (yet).

If it was NOT ours, then we would be the very first to say that it IS ours. We may deny it at first until we can get a good cover story, but within a day, tops, you will have every government agency, and the mainstream media, all singing the same tune in lock-step. The US simply CAN NOT state that they don't have complete sovereignty over their air space - even if it IS compromised, they can't admit it. It's not so much a matter of national security as it is a matter of keeping the status quo in check.

Quite simply, the latitude and longitude are the symbolic representations of those elements. Both of which define this event.

Hi,
If you look at the original video. At 1:36 into the video. A large plane comes into view. Could this be linked to this event. LINK.

If this wasn't down to the US and someone let some missiles off in your own back yard. Wouldn't you have thought that they would treat this with the highest priority.

Hopefully just laser testing as the link suggests.

Not a plane. A sea stallion or chinook military helicopter. I looked at that satellite photo of where the contrail orignated and it lead back to land. Either Pt. Mugu Naval base or Pt.Hueneme Naval Battalion.

Anyone ever see the movie McHale's Navy?
Kelsey Grammar takes the most rust-bucket submarine in the fleet and sneaks into the harbor to shoot off a flare?

I'm thinking this is something similar...

Maybe: A bet or game between admirals.

The first is working on (or already has possessed for a long time) an advanced nuclear submarine detection system. Something along the lines of passive sonar that searches for extra quiet areas, because modern-day subs are actually quieter than the ambient noise of the ocean.

The second is using his allowance (i.e. a couple billion tax-dollars, which would be perfectly normal in the ultimate goal to defend Americans' lives) to develop a counter-measure of some sort.

A couple of cocktails (I would hope) into their dinner-party, they decide to make a bet. One thinks that he can sneak a boomer up close enough to launch a dummy missile at LA, and the other thinks he can "search and destroy" the first guy before he gets anywhere close to the city.

The obvious conclusion to this is that the passive sonar tech has been outdated.

Or: Perhaps this was the initial salvo of nuclear missiles fired by a vanguard Chinese nuclear submarine fleet. This would be prior to their invasion of the US mainland, and the missile failed because, of course, they were made in China.

On a side note: I was staying at a certain snobby hotel this summer in Seattle, waiting for my buddies to fly in so we could hike the Wonderland Trail, and I think the Navy brass was having some sort of conference there (a destroyer was parked at the docks).
Me: A long-haired hippie-looking dude with a full beard, sitting in the lobby waiting for the snack-shop to open so I could get a Coke for my hangover. I'm fairly sure they had a discussion as to whether or not I was an "evil-doer".

I was like, "are you high, sirs?"

When I finally checked out with full hiking gear, and wearing an expedition pack, I could literally see it dawn on them.

I wish we all had a tenth of the ingenuity, intelligence, and resourcefulness that our parents and grandparents had to win WW2, myself included...

You may have just given them an idea!

I can be very skeptical too! However I have heard the argument that this is a plane flying toward you at sunset but that is not at all what it looks like to me and obviously it had everyone scratching thier heads for 24 hours so there is something funny going on. As I expected they have just picked the most obvious cover story for this incedent with the plane theory. If this is a jumbo jet then why is there not one frame where you can see two or more discernable jet contrails? Answer: because there is only one very large round plume of exhaust that is clearly displaying signs of a rocket exhaust which is moving up and away from view ie the gyroscopic movement evident in the spiral formation in the exhaust trail and also the flashes of light which could not be detected in such a way from a news camera of light reflecting off the underbelly of a 747 30-50 miles away. I just don't buy it! and I question people like phage who have spent the entire day posting over and over again that we are all idiots for beleiving what our eyes are telling us. If you read though the posts here there have been several eye witness confirmations from several different views which confirm that this was definitely not a plane!

Agreed. No foreign airliners were known to be in the area. It therefore had to be a domestic commercial plane.

I think it was a show of strength to the ETs that have been disabling nuclear missiles. To show them that they can still fire intercontinental missiles from submarines they have been hiding in various places as a contingency.

if you are referring to Modis satellite imagery posted earlier ... wrong time and wrong location from where the observer said it occurred

That was no airplane contrail. I'll bet 20 years experience on that. I've see everything from SR71 to B777 takeoffs and cruises. No sir. No Way .. Oh and add the British Concord to the list and most every fighter in the last 30 years.
