We have to remember God also made all the birds of the air, The fish of the sea, the things that creepith and crawl, all the animals.

God did tell Adam to be fruitful and multiply...But how clear are we on the intended verbage? He (God) Intended that all the animals, and birds of the air, and all that creep and crawl to Multiply.

Where as posted earlier did GOD tell Adam to lay down with Eve and have sex? It doesn't say this. Anywhere in the BIBLE!

What is the womans curse for the origional sin? To bleed, to be unclean, to have birth pains.

So if This is not what was meant by the forbidden fruit...and Adam and Eve were having sex and trying to multiply before eating the so called fruit how would of it been possible? Without ovulation.?

(Well I will believe what God intended in the OT. Which all comes from God and even Satan as an Angel has no free will. If you have time I have an article you would enjoy to read.)

Ok I was on AOL. I switched over to Firefox and the link worked. No need to think I was lying. Or to accuse me of such.

And as for me knowing everything...I don't. All I tried to do is bring a subject to this forum I thought to be of interest.

I am a Christian, and do believe in God. I also like to take a deeper look at things.

I may be wrong and it may as simple as GOD telling Adam & Eve to not eat of the forbidden fruit, real fruit on a real tree.

I could look at the scripture and follow the masses and accept everything I have been told without questioning.

But I tend to look deeper into things.

I'ts a joy to see someone who desires to maintain an open mind in order to learn and grow.

The Garden of Eden story is a great place to begin looking deeper than the Facade of Normality. And the Sumerian history is the place to begin since it is the Origins of Genesis. For instance Eden is E.Din in Sumerian, which means, "The First Place".. the first place where the Creator Gods landed, the first place where they built cities and bases, etc.

The one charged with our manufacture to be Slaves was called NK.. Enki.. and he was the one who loved his creations dearly. In fact, he loved us so much he broke an Oath to the Elohim.. Council of 12 to not tell a human about the coming deluge. Because he broke the oath he lost his inheritence as First Son of Anu and all the Judicial Power in the middle realm of earth.

But, it was his older brother who went further. This older one was named NL.. Enlil.. son of a Concubine and thus not the rightful Heir. He hated his little brother so much that he searched for ways to make him lose all credence. So he took one half of the symbol on the House of Life.. The Caduceus... so that it now looked like a Snake on A Branch.

Enlil insured that humans would always remember the younger son as The Bad One, especially after Enlil gained the Heirship and full governance over Earth.

So this Snake on a Branch came to symbolise the Bad One.. and yet this one.. Enki who manufactured, us was the one who loved us well. It was Enki who told the Adamma male and female that, "God is Lying to You".

And since he was the good one who loved us, and his elder brother was the one who hated us, demanded worship from us, lusted after our Bloodshed and caused wars between humans.. it is now easy to see that the Snake in the Garden was telling the Truth to the Adamma that.. God.. Enlil, was actually lying to them, manipulating them for his own reasons.

As you have said, dig deeper and you find information. Compare it to what you are fed as Truth by the powers within Religion to reach a clearer understanding of why we are still Slaves in the truest sense of the word.

According to the bible, women are meant to be mens slaves. Men are supposed to be the masters. A good wife is one that doesn't talk much.

So why in todays world do we allow women to have so much power? They're not meant to have it. You would think the church would be keeping a very strict limit on what women can and can't do. Any religious man, should never give a woman power. They are apart of a man, from his rib, adam named them "Woman" Notice the Man at the end? Having women equal to men, goes against the wishes of the bible.

So its just another hypocritical thing about religion.

I also like, how the bible says, in genesis chapter 1 : 26, that god created humans in OUR image, to resemble US. To be like OURSELVES.

Not, god created man in his own image, like we are all meant to believe. The bible specifically refers to PLURAL gods. just like all the ancient civilizations believed in PLURAL gods. Just look at the zodiac.

The Bible was not intended to cause so much confusion but sometimes it can't be helped. In the new testament the use of parables is acknowledged but, for some reason, they are not allowed in the old testament. Too bad is what I say. Too bad because the whole of the story of Adam and Eve is no more than a fanciful representation of God placing human souls into flesh, leaving their true home, and coming to earth as humans for the first time. As we so commonly speak to children so that they may understand God also has influenced the writers of those old stories in ways that they would be able to comprehend. Look at it from this perspective and rest easy. There is really no mystery at all. Those clergy that maintain a need for literal believing are in the wrong. Pay them no heed. Do not let them pull you down with all their fancy talk and beguiling ways because they, too, are so deeply sunk in their own fantasies that they can not escape. This does not stop them, though, from trying to pull us down to join them in their ignorance.

It is very seldom that I hear such arguments any more. Most Christians know better than to get too involved in trying to understand Genesis in any literal way.

Now a bit of research. This is where I am speaking of in relation to be fruitful and multiply.

In the bible When God spoke these words to Adam. he had not yet caused Adam to fall asleep yet and had not created Eve. When God said this he had not yet created the garden of Eden.

Genesis 1 26-29

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

Read closely, Male and female he created them......Remember Eve was not created for Adam at this time. Eve does not come in the picture until Gen 2

So who did GOD bless? Think about what is written...the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

This is who GOD Blessed and told to be fruitful and multiply. Remember Eve nor the garden of Eden were not created yet by GOD.

In GEN 2 After GOD creates Eve...At no point does he say to Adam and Eve be fruitful and multiply.

God creates the garden of Eden then tells them not to eat of the fruit of knowledge. God's intent was for the creatures to multiply. he never tells Adam and Eve to follow suit.

Now after Adam and the woman who would later be named EVE ate of the forbidden fruit they realized they were naked and were ashamed.

What was their punishment?

Eve's was to have pain in child birth. This is the very first mention of conception in regards to Eve. God said to Eve I will Increase your pains. Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you.

Adams Punishment
God said because you listened to your wife cursed is the ground you walk on. Through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. By the sweat of your brow you will eat until you return to the ground from where you came.

Now take notice this happens in Gen 3

We call her Eve but she was not given the name EVE until all this happened. It was after the Forbidden act in the garden and after their punishment was handed down by GOD that Adam named her EVE because she would become the mother of all the living.

Now and only Eve would bare children, and have pain and be called the mother of all living.

Still think the forbidden act was merely eating a piece of fruit?

Sorry i have to dissagree and i know the bible fairly well,
there is a part in the bible where god tells adam and eve to "go forward and multiply"
there are many things in the bible that are misinterpreted, and this is one of them im afriad
the apple represented knowledge of good and evil and through eating the apple good and evil was introduced into the world. (think about it, for good to exist its opressor needs to exist aswell, so you could say in this times there was no good or evil, just perfection)
Sex is not a sin, the bible has been manipulated by churches to mean this. did you know originally homosexuality in the bible actually ment male prostitutes and not gay men?
the bible originally dosent repress sex, the church does.
and who runs the church? Men.
Noone knows the true thoughts of god, so what makes you think these men know because they claim to know god?
