As someone already mentioned: they look exactly like how Vincent van Gogh painted his clouds.. Mebbe it isn't as new as meteo-dudes think?.

Im not exactly sure how you came to that conclusion. The jetstream is loctaed thousands of feet above where these clouds are situated. The jetstream has no bearing on cloud formation or cloud type.

Thank you so much for illuminating yourself. Um no...I didn't claim to know it all, I only know what I film and what I experience.

If you can't look up directly in the sky and see the strips of chemical spewing from the Jets which leave them hanging in the atmosphere, then, I'm not sure what it will take to convince you.

For something that doesn't exist, they sure are pretty visible.

Contrails evaporate within seconds, chemtrails stay in the atmosphere. And if you think that there is no chemical compounds released from the exhaust of a Jet, then you're delusional. Cars spew out tons of garbage daily, are you really going to tell me that jets are just spewing out vapor??? Is that proof enough??? Or do you need me to walk you through it step by step???

I don't know if anyone posted about this, but there was a flash flood in Arkansas that has killed at least 12 people. Maybe it is the result of this strange cloud formation.

Again, contrails evaporate immediately. Chemtrails DO NOT. Wake up and smell the chemical.

By the way...what does Jet fuel spew out in general??? Just tell me that one. I'm sure you have the answer. And prove to me that there are no chemicals coming out when planes are in the sky. As it is, we already know that cars spew out tons of noxious gases, so, tell me...how much cleaner is Jet fuel? I really must know from the self-made EXPERTS HERE ON ATS.

We don't know what chemtails do because so far no-one has ever provided visual evidence of them.

Undulus Asperatus is not something which "has never happened before in the history of man". It has been observed in the past. It is a cloud type which was recently given a designation, a name. It was not recently "discovered" as is claimed in the OP article.

Margaret LeMone, Ph.D., senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colo., said she has photographed asperatus clouds periodically for the past 30 years.

"One question I have been asked by a number of people is, 'Is this cloud a new kind of cloud?'" LeMone told the Voice.

"I suppose some might think it's a side effect of global warming or something. The answer is 'no.' I saw a similar cloud 30 years ago and had trouble trying to identify it. I'm sure they've been around a long time."

It is a relatively rare cloud type so it's new to a lot of people.

The designation was proposed for official acceptance in May. I don't know what the outcome was.

No...five YouTube videos, NONE of them show the type of cloud formations the OP is about...and ALL of them show normal clouds, and contrails.

Video #2, of those five you posted, is the most outrageous, because I recognize the voice of 'Cliff Carnicorn'. He is either a moron, or a charlatan with an agenda. If he's just a nut case, then his efforts are (mostly) harmless. However, I believe he is the latter...he knows he's full of it, but he profits off of people's gullibility.

Listen again...he thinks that the Earth's atmosphere can be magnetized!!! That's right, folks. Just listen, and you will hear all sorts of 'junk'-science being spewed from his pie hole.

Keep in mind, MOST of these "chemtrail"-oriented websites claim 'aluminum' and 'barium' being "sprayed"...so, since when are those two metals ferrous? (Meaning...affected by magnetism)?

Easily researched online.

Jet-A is similar, in most ways, to automotive and truck diesel fuel. (more refined, though...stringent standards).

It is basically kerosene.

What remains, after combustion, are hydrocarbons. Not nice, but no worse than that semi truck on the highway, or your own automobile.
