Ah! I've got some footage of me doing this type of stuff! Yeah! Just lemme look through my videos. Let's see...

Helping build a school in the Philippines. Nope, not that one.
Playing tag with children in the Philippines. Not that one either.
Handing out MREs to children in Thailand. Hmm, no.
Enjoying community relations with the locals. That won't do.
Helping palatize food and water for Burma in 2008. Crap, that's no good.
Enjoying camaraderie with Philippino, Thai, Korean and Australian service members. Damn, that's close, but no cigar.
Having a BBQ with Philippino locals. Ah ha! Wait, no...

I'm sorry, none of my videos and pictures were of the horrible things me and my fellow service members do. Oh, wait, that's right! It's because those jackasses who soil our good name are the 10% that slips through the cracks. We try to get them, but we're not perfect. Worst part is, those 10% are usually he horrible wastes of flesh that turn in to turdburger SNCO's and officers and that's where, in the Marine Corps sense, the lack of honor, courage and commitment comes in to play. I've known so many good Marines that have left because there is too much BS to try and stick it out to make it to the top to fix it. That's why I'm debating on either getting out and using my job experience as a network administrator or moving to being a brig guard.

The people in this video do not in any way, shape or form represent the United States Armed Service. And until you've been in my boots, even though I respect your right to say, please try to be peaceful and logical with what you say.

Just a few things I would like to bring up regarding this vid.

1. It's been posted before people, so why rehash it again???

2. What these people do is deplorable. Absolutely disgusting. I hope they have been served due punishment. And yes people, they are still people!!! Just because what they have done is disgusting, doesn't make them animals, monsters, non-human entities. They are still people, that possibly need help of a psychiatrist/psychologist. It is the ACT that makes it disgusting. And honestly, we need to find out WHY they commited these acts. That way, when they happen again, we can find ways of fixing the problem. Hell, we can even look at stopping it in its tracks if we know WHY it is happening.

3. Just because certain individuals are doing this, I WILL NOT blame every Soldier of doing these things. Why??? Because not every soldier does these things. If they did, there would be no more standing Armies, because all Soldiers would be in prison. Do not paint all with a broad stroke, because it may come back to hit you hard.

It is like me saying "Well since George W Bush is a lying scumbag, that makes all Americans lying scumbags!!!', which, cmon people, is an absolute lie. Even the most ardent anti-US Military people on here should be able to see the point I am trying to make. I don't think the war in Iraq is right or just, but on the other hand, I am not going to accuse EVERY soldier of murderous, war crime commiting scum. Because it blatantly isn't true, or right.

4. What also makes me sick about this is some of the comments in this thread. Seriously, some people in here need to see a Qualified Doctor. Because, to be honest, some people REALLY have some Anger Management issues. I can understand why people are pissed off about the video, and to be honest, so am I, and even though I can have a wicked temper at times, do you see me going round yelling "OMFG THESE PEOPLE ARE A DISGRACE THEY NEED TO HANG!!!!!11111ONEONEONE"??? No!

Seriously people, when looking at something, at least TRY to look at it objectively. Yes, what happens in the video is disgusting. Yes, the people involved need to be tried in a court of law. Yes, they make the view of Americans pretty bad, BUT, to say all Americans are like this is false, a load of crap, and to be honest, a load of horse #.

Remember people, just because 1 person does something, does NOT make everyone else responsible. Just because 1 person does something, does not mean everyone else does the same thing.

Every person is different. Every person has their own likes/dislikes. And EVERY person has their own faults. To judge one person by the actions of others, is tantamount to stupidity, because at the end of the day, not everyone is the same.

In my local video store, around 3/4 of the games there to hire are about war. I think this programmes young minds that war is a form of entertainment, and when it comes time to decide what you want to do for a career, a soldier seems like it would be so much fun.

If we can't stop wars where people kill each other, we can't do anything else including improving the environment, providing health care, and restoring the dignity of all peoples. Therefore I concluded that the first thing needed is to stop the wars, then continue to strive to improve (or even save) the world.

I thought I should work on organizing a general 1 or 2 day strike around memorial day and ask people around the world to protest the wars. However, I work in the computer security field and after someone called me "overly cautious" I began to realize that maybe those I would like to help really don't want my help or appreciate it. In fact, many may be offended by it.

I talked to my friend and she had no interest in supporting such effort. She could not be interrupted in her life and her two jobs. She just simply did not have time and did not seem concerned.

So I wondered what would be just and since this is really about the next generation, I decided to tell my son how things are and allow him to decide. When I got home and mentioned it, my wife did not support the idea either. I asked my son what he wanted to do but he was only mildly willing to consider it and he said it would not make a difference. I told him no difference would be made if we did not make an effort but this still failed to motivate him.

And then we have those who prefer not to admit it is a problem at all even though the US has no reason or right to occupy other countries. Not all soldiers behave that way but there is such a lack of respect for life and others among the "leaders" (not my leaders) of the world today, is it any wonder that some "followers" would behave this way?

Yes we are all responsible because we have done nothing and I am completely appalled at the unbounded apathy of the world today.

We should all realize that the greed and hatred of those who run the world is unlimited. What you see today is just a taste of the unbounded evil being unleashed on the world. We should also be aware that several times in the past the world has almost been destroyed by global thermal nuclear war and some of those times were accidental.

Therefore it is obvious to me, if not even to anyone else that man will destroy the world sooner or later and most likely by using nuclear weapons (The depleted uranium used in Iraq today is testimony to that. There is no way to fix the destruction it causes and the harm will last millions of years). I expect the time will come sooner. I wish I had better news.

The real questions are, will it ever stop? When will it stop?

i was in the (german) army, too, doing my basic mil. service there and i also had the opportunity to go to afghanistan, but i did not. back then, snipers and landmines were the only reason for me.

BUT...

as soon as i learned the real reasons for the war, i handed in my refusal of orders and every correct soldier should do that NOW in order to end the madness.

the ordinary american citizen isnt guilty at all. but all of you supporting and allowing the genocide that started 2001, you are guilty. you, that go here and there to lead a war of aggression - a war of horror.
