I got to page 13 but couldn't hold my tongue any longer.........how did everyone survive? I mean, a plane is coming at you at 115 mph and the two/three floors were a raging fire, if this happened instaneously how on earth did everyone get out alive in an instant?

It just doesn't add up to me. Not sure if anyone has addressed this yet. But to me it seems impossible for there not to be any casualties. Maybe some of our resident 9/11 experts can explain this and please let me know when we should expect his building to collapse. Okay, that last part was sarcasim. But I really want to know how everyone got out alive in this raging fire from fuel, when it happened in a split second.

And here we goooo....
CNN's Rick Sanchez has some expert on and they are discussing what we can do to stop any future attacks...blah,blah,blah.
I am sitting here thinking that wouldnt we have put all efforts into stopping planes from flying into buildings straight up after 9/11.

I'm not mad that I'm not rich. I believe I've stated on here multiple times that I have abandoned the materialistic life. I have been given everything physical that I have wanted in my life.

But yes. I do want to be rich I suppose. Rich in knowledge. Rich in freedom.

I don't really WANT anything. I want to own my own land, I want to work my land, and I want to uninterrupted in that goal. I don't want people to take the things that I work for. I don't want people to tell me what I can and can't do, with respect to others rights of course.

Not sure how that is a BAD thing. I want nothing more than what the Founding Fathers wanted. And yes, our writing is VERY similar, perhaps that is why I connect with this man so much. However... I am not the only one. Believe me on that. I'm not standing in a fire alone, there are plenty who have already shown sympathy and regard for the actions today and many will follow.

You are wrong, however, that this "won't do anything". It has already done quite a bit. It hasn't even been more than a couple hours and already people are getting behind him. Imagine a day, a week, a month. People are waking up and they shall continue to do so.

Don't confuse my actions with his, however. Though I do condone his plan to make a point, I do not condone targeting civilians. Whether these civilians were "good people" or not is to be determined, but still, a bigger point would have been made targeting a large institution. This is why I believe he wasn't looking to kill a mass amount of people but rather chose a position to cause the least amount of damage while still making his point LOUD AND CLEAR.

There is intelligent action, and there is emotional action. This was clearly an emotional action based on his lease on life. Hopefully people will be able to see the difference between something that will cause a significant change, and something that would only cause harm.

He was targeting the IRS, the landmark, not 1 or 10 specific person. This situation is the same in any war scenario you want to play out. there will always be casualty. i'm not saying that you should go and kill IRS employees but in order for a revolution to happen, drastic decision have to be made.

Setting his house on fire is a different story but even then i can partialy understand his resoning for it.

Nothing will come out of this other than us paying more taxes and he will remain as a moron to everyone. but if tomorrow things turned our way then everyone on here would praise him.

I totally agree with you man. If you don't like your government? Go move to another country. Don't try to change your government at all. Love it or Leave it.

IMO, people will get behind him, but very few will follow him.

People are, well.. too dependent on government.

Umm i fail to undestand his reasoning for trying to destroy his family's life to be honest.

And yes he aimed it at the building but i'm sure he knew full well that there would be people inside especially when you look at his current situation and the type of building he targeted.

I fail to see how people can see this guy than anything more than a terrorist.

You can still find his statement as well as his pic on the Austin American Statesman website. They won't pull it - not so soon anyway. Pretty liberal paper and town.

Here is the situation as I see it..

Unbiased and all..

The guy was doing all the right things up untill everything fell from underneath him.. He got sick of our government taxing more and more and more..

You guys sit there adn call him a terrorist.. But you quite fine letting the government, banks, and whoever do what they want to you..

Debt, its cool we got this..
Forclosures, its cool we got this..
unemployment.. its cool we got this..
banker, car, airline bailouts.. its cool we got this..

As long as you like it the way you do its cool.. Alot of people are getting pretty fed up with the bs that has been going on and well, if this is the way the game is going to play then thats how its played..

People talk about peaceful revolution, were does that get us?
People talk about writing your representatives, well as you see this guy did that and well in his own words did nothing..

Its cool in the end when all this crap breaks loose whos side will you be on..

That is where it is going,, Like someone said, you back a dog in a corner wtf you think is going to happen.. Its not rocket science.

But whatever, go back to watching the Olympics and American Idol.. Nothing to see here...

The open areas of that floor may have been sparcely occupied - as in a deck here and a desk there, and lots of floor space. That's a very small plane, and the explosion could have been blunted by cubicle walls enough for the people there to run. The fires did burn one person pretty badly, but it seems as though no one was directly in the path of this tiny plane when it hit.

By the way, only controlled demolition brings down highrise office buildings. At least in the real world.

I don't know all the information, but considering the responses in this thread, I think he did manage to kill a couple of people.

this lunatic could have destroyed countless families and left many innocent victims dead he got lucky. He is a coward and his actions have proven it to call him a patriot is disgusting. He is no better then a gunmen shooting up a school yard or shopping mall.
I am so disapointed in those here who not only condone this behavior but are actively encouraging it.
Im glad he is dead saves the money from the trial.
He couldnt just kill himself he had to put the innocent at risk.
Im glad it seems that no one is dead (that matters) and only property was damaged. my uncle is a super nice man works for the irs because he needs money to feed his family and you defend some jackass who coulda killed so many! your logic is clouded by ignorance if you defend this idiot you to deserve his fate as well.

Be Well america remember we are free and can revolt through voting our four fathers did not have this luxury they are not deserving of any comparisons to this yahoo.

I don't know something feels very virulent about this manifesto and how its spreading like wild fire among the social networking sites.

Historically when things happen like this it produces a memetic epidemic of madness and hysteria. Bleeding Kansas and John Brown's raid on Harper's Ferry are good examples of this.

Nothing good will come of this.

WHOA! You mean, that if your government slowly becomes corrupt and slowly begins to take everything that you own tax by tax, piece by piece, that you should just LOVE IT or LEAVE IT? No third option of "Let them know that they need to change their stance and actions against the people that PAY THEM!"

However, what this man did was just wrong. Period. It's a sad day and I really hope that no one will glorify his actions. Stand up for what you believe in but don't risk other people's lives.

Go ahead and keep voting and keep watching your tax dollars going to the scam bankers living their life of your back.

Do you even realize that when you work 5 days a week, 1.5 days goes toward paying your taxes which in turns goes to the big fat bankers...

enjoy!

I disagree about a lot of people getting behind him...it won't happen.

Because even if it started...the government would clamp down on them hard...and can you blame them? To protect innocent citizens lives...they would have to. Because obviously people that think like him may have no problem killing innocent people just to prove his point.

If you support moves like this...why wouldn't they come and get you before you do the same thing? You are openly talking about violent revolt...you even said you are in the planning stage of what you are going to do. ANd like I said before...you are not annonymous...AT ALL. Why wouldn't they come pick you up before you do something?

And you know what...if they did...YOU would complain about it. YOU would say that they are taking away your rights. YOU would say "see...I told you so...we are not free". But you fail to understand that it is also YOU that would be forcing them to do this.

If the government comes out and says they will be now moderating sites like ATS...it is because of YOU and people like this nutter who flew his plane into a building. And you know what...you can't blame them...not one bit because YOU are giving them every reason they need to be able to do this.

Nothing good will come of this.

You are no doubt correct.

Government will pass more laws and many hardcore followers of this manifesto will try to imitate.

Either way, we as a country will lose.

Of course the message has traction.

Despicable acts with messages are horrid. However, they contain a shred of something that needs to be looked at.

When you claw off the horse#, there is usually something there that contains something that needs attention.

Not necessarily what the person/organization is trying to say - but something about the temperature of an issue.

This is consistently missed. There is always a kernel of truth to something - something that points to what needs to be fixed.

If THIS sort of outburst is actually news to ANY agency in the USA, these agencies are filled with FOOLS. That it finds traction is a warning sign.

While almost everything coming out of this sort of person is retarded about taxation and modern governments....the fact remains that the underlying essential boiled down point remains the same all over.

Their tax money is being misspent. Their government works not for them. They do not get value for their money. They do not get consistency or good work for their money. That they are told to stand on their own, and work hard and play hard - and when they fail they are held to account. But when the big-boys fall, their government picks them up. Their tears are wiped with million dollar bills.

Not just this person sees a disconnect between the government and themselves.

The base level of government IS the citizen. But NO ONE KNOWS IT. In their bones, in their citizenship, in their share, in their education, in their heart - they do not in any way feel it.

Their use of language proves it. The government literally is NOT of the people. Even above RACIAL boundaries that are rampant, when they see the goverenment, the bureaucracy, everyone sees us and the government. It transcends all other human divisiveness.

And I bet not one of your fancy analysts have figured this out yet.

There is an essence of truth. The person who holds out, the relatively sane person who clamours, they often have a seed of how to FIX a problem that a large number of people have if you'll look at it and boil it down.

If a corporation is an entity, so is the government and bureaucracy.

And in every life of your people, YOU - the entity that is the bureaucracy and the government - in some way are the enemy.

Every administration is embraced by half the population as their enemy. Every bureaucracy is seen as the enemy.

You can wear cultural patriotism as armour only so far.

It would be better if it was noticed that there is an serious underlying systemic problem. That cannot be fixed bandaids and flags.
