that speak to the facts of the statement persae'. etc!

Now if you are asking if there are logical reasoning behind Christianity then yes. From those who witnessed Christ. The things Christ says are wonderful. What he says is known to be true in my mind, body, and soul. So by reasoning that, within myself, I have found all the evidence I need.

What part of circular logic don't you get? Again, I have yet to hear a REASON for religion.

Now that is circular reasoning. If you do not answer questions, then don't ask questions. It is considered rude. Oh who am I kidding. That is fun.

Maybe be if we broke it down instead of running all this together.
example a thread thats just on Reasons why you believe.
Another thread on origins and creation and so on it gets confusing or maybe in your posts explain that your response is one of these. Cuz it's just getting all messed up.
it's Just a sugestion ....

Well I'm still looking.

Nich
It wasn't an order man. I can see how my adding speak to that made it sound though. I really don't care if you answer or not. Or even your REASON for not. Like shame?

There are no reasons to believe in any religion! It's a trick question. All religions are based on faith, which is not a logical reason. I challenge anybody to defend a religion without resorting to faith and circular logic. I don't think it can be done.

I posit that the question is an oxymoron.

It's entirely possible that I missed a logical argument for a religion. I would like for you to point that out to me.

Randy and Conclusion have not been able to answer the question. But I'm sure there are more than 2 defenders of Christianity, or any other religion, out there.

But then again, an honest minister conceded that it is all based on faith

Thank you for posing the question again. My bad!

No, I've never had a religious experience. I've had several spiritual experiences that have influenced my life greatly.

Okay let me try to explain it again.

When we have any type of experience that changes our views on anything, the experience is the reason for your view change. So a religious experience, whether it can be explained or not, is the reason my views changed toward Christianity. It was not based on faith when it happened. Faith was a direct result from the reason.

Okay. Very good. How do you describe that Spiritual experience without there being a spirit to express it to you?

You want concrete, undeniable evidence of God that nobody can refute in any way? It wont happen. It always comes back to faith.

Thank you Mykahel for being honest about it.

As to your other "logical" points Richard Dawkins has written a few books about that. Are you familiar with him?

Honestly, can't say that I am. Does he support or refute them?

One more point for why there is a logical reason for religion as a whole.
People need hope. As the Buddhist would say, life is pain. If there is no hope for anything better than this, why even put up with it? Religion gives hope. You and I would both probably agree that many of them provide a false hope, but it is one of the "logical reasons for religion."

Thank you for clarifying.

My only comment about that is: with the term "religious" you are already putting the phenomenon on a grid.

Semantics? Maybe ...
