I totally understand your frustration and pain.

However, I think your anger is misplaced. Your anger should be aimed at the people we hire to enforce the existing laws. They are the ones who have a responsibility here and they are shucking it, for whatever reason.

Seeing things from the illegal immigrants' point of view, they are only trying to support their families. I would venture to say that most of us would break the laws of another country if we knew there would be no repercussions, especially to feed our baby girl who cries because she's so hungry and malnourished.

Putting myself in the position of the illegal immigrant, I would act exactly as they do if I knew I could get away with it. What's to stop them? "Because it's wrong"? Not likely to hold a lot of weight when my baby is hungry. I'm going to get my ass out there to a place where I can make a few bucks and buy some corn for my family and put a cheap roof over their heads.

The mexican americans who came before 1980 assimilated into American culture proudly and to benefit of all races.
They warned Clinton that a massive amnesty program would destroy the border states. He didn't listen because he wanted voters. I was in the LA convention center area on amnesty processing day...it was a massive line-up of hispanics.
It really is the democrates fault and they know it.

What about the blatant lack of attempting to adapt to our culture, which, in turn, gives you a much better chance of succeeding in this country?

And you said you would do the same thing in their shoes? That makes you NO better than them in any way. You would defraud governments and put your life and the life of those you care about in harms way because it's more convenient to not pay taxes and have to worry about those type of things?

It's not misplaced at all. We should be angry with both.

If you can't afford it you shouldn't have a baby. Therefore I'm angry at you.

Then the argument is "but I do." Well you shouldn't have, hence the anger towards you and our elected officials.

That's their business. If they want to succeed, they will do what it takes. But to most of them, success means putting a meal on the table at the end of the day.

You didn't finish.......how can I understand? So, you are saying I should never help any human who has ever broken a law? That seems kinda mean. I am out of tune with American haters, and proud of it. My social ladder is being shortened by greed. I live on the border and want it to go away, knowing this will lower my standard of living. It is because I respect all people, not just Americans.

Employers shouldnt require you speak spanish. Thats a mistake on their behalf and that should be dealt with them not with the immigrants.

Gangs and grafitti are not just because of immigrants, many citizens of these nations are also part of the gang criminal systems, yes immigrants play a role, but they are not the sole reason behind it.

True, but thats error on the system not the immigrants. Im not going to tell you that fighting will always win, there are time you will fail, but thats the system not the immigrants, if you get rid of the illegal immigrants, you will still have wrongfully accused cases and wrongfull justice, that goes with out saying. Its a given in any country.

About the gangs, im sure that most of those you fought with might have been illigals, but there are plenty of legal citizens in gangs. Thats also in every country, thats why I say fix the problem internally then you can better work on the external issues, the extra issues.

When I wrote about fighting for what you want I wasnt saying physical contact, you took my words out of context and thats normal, but Im not saying put up a fist fight.

Your right about not having a baby if you cant afford it. A problem I see is that Mexicans are highly catholic people, the dont believe in Abortion and lets face it, sex is an addiction. But yes you cant afford a baby then don't have one.

This reminds me of the time when Congressmen were complaining about the poor European immigrants that were flooding into this country. They were so concerned about they rewrote immigration policy. I agree 100 %.

It is not illegal immigrants fault. If there is no law enforcement, we cannot blame them for breaking the law and gaming the system.

It is also not greedy employers fault. Heck, if there is cheap workforce available, I would do exactly the same.

It is A FAULT OF THE GOVERNMENT! They are here to protect our borders. Only the government can provide a solution for this.

I think we should be clear on a few very important points.

Mexican is not a race. It is a nationality composed of many races and cultures. It is impossible to be "racist" against Mexicans. Xenophobic, prejudiced or bigoted - yes, racist - no.

Spanish is a white imperialist language like english, not native.

Spain (white Europeans) conquered and colonized the area in the 1500's. Many Mexicans, especially the wealthy elite have European blood.

The colonies did not become Mexico until 1821.

A border dispute led to the Mexican–American War, which began in 1846 and lasted for two years.

California and Texas were only part of Mexico for less than thirty years.

I'm not even going to bother reading the forum this is straight to the op.

An illegal immigrant has not been in the Republican or Democratic..(well we know for sure the Republican party)..any way they didn't write law that allowed illegals to effect you. The government who is in charge i.e. the morons YOU elect be it a R or D are the ones to blame.Blaming any one else is just what the government wants you to do. The blame is with the system and the system was put in place by the idots you people elect into office. And the only two parties who have been in control are REPUBLICANS and DEMOCRATS......So thats your problem..you want to change it. STOP VOTING FOR THE SAME TWO PARTIES WHO ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN.
Some of you can't stand the fact that you know that your party has screwed you over for so long you have battered voter syndrom.I'm going to be on these boards reminding everyone who is a Republican and Democrat they are to blame for this country as it is now. The Op is right in many ways. As ZenJewel stated previously Las Vegas has become the same way. You see them at Home Depot and Star Nursery, I am hispanic,was born and raised in Southern California, the OC, Anaheim. My neighborhood was predominately Hispanic. We had a neighbor who had trucks and parts laying around their front yard and it was really trashy looking. The park we lived near was always filled with trash from parties and there was always tagging (you would see the kids who would do the tagging Hispanic) at the center where all the kids go for recreation.
Then I moved to Las Vegas, it turned out to be the same way, all the houses being built by all these big realty companies, are hired illegals, the house I am currently in had beer cans inside the walls, trash, some parts of it were already cracking down the center of the ceiling. They get paid to create crappy(sp) houses. It makes me sad to say the least that I don't like my own people. We need to vote out those people who are for illegals and make our country ours again, (not trying to be racist in any way or form), If you want to live here follow the G_D Damn rules.
Thats my rant. Feels good to let it out.
