Thanks for the tips all, I keep trying but the lack of progress is a bit rubbish.

Sometimes I'm just too tired and need to go into a deep sleep, doesn't help that I live near a load of noisey people. Anyway, will keep trying but try to forget about The Noise(tm) and concentrate more on breathing. I suspect I'll just fall straight asleep if I'm not listening for the noise, but we'll see.

Can I get a yank over here please

I have been having out of body experiences for 18 years.

I have seen nuclear war, murder, drug use, sex and all kinds of crazy stuff.

I was on patrol killing killing arabs and protecting a state diplomate.

I saw the destruction of the tsumi last year before it happened.

I can now walk-fly around and explore the astral plane. Mostly I just go harrass people. I would like to go find the teachers, but I dont think I am ready.

If you seek to enter this plane you must posess extreme mental and spiritual fortitude.

I would really like to talk with anyone out there who has had over 5000 obes.

I've been reading this thread for about 2 weeks now and it was the first time i've ever heard of an OBE in my life.

2 days after i read the thread i was able to project, felt the vibrations and all and popped out of my body but it was really dark and i couldnt see much but i remember floating above my bed for a bit and then fell right back into my body and i was instantly awake.

Just three hours ago i was ALMOST able to do it again. I got to the point where i feel the vibrations and the rushing noise you hear but i was waaay too excited for it to happen and then i just became fully awake again. but anyways thanks to ALL who have contributed to this thread. It really got my attention.

...too bad my parents dont believe what I say

18 years of AP'ing and still so much to learn.
Harassing people

Some of those events were regression into possible past lives and clairvoyant moments.

And so extreme aren't the qualifications either. It is true that you need to be a balanced individual and free of many constructs made by society.

@moldmakertech

No offence, but it sounds pretty much like you haven't exactly changed from the spiritual experience.

Maybe its something underlying? Have the mass amounts of things pain around the world scarred you in some way?
Maybe you had an OOBE but you don't really truly BELIEVE in its essence somehow?
Or maybe, just maybe ... No probably not... But here it comes; You are arrogant?

@fookerboy69

You shoulden't care about trying to explain it to your parents, just concentrate on your actual experiences and how to improve yourself.

@Enyalius & RiverGoddess

I've never had an OOBE, so just for the record can you list some signs that indicates that "This is the time!" to get out of your body...

For eg. RiverGoddess mentions that sounds of the wind... Anything else that other people have experienced?

1. Sounds: these can be blowing wind such as TRG explains or like a heavy sound that moves from one side of the brain to the other side. Like a heavy truck/train flashing towards you in the distance, goes past you and dissapears again.
2. Being able to see your surroundings while you're 100% sure that your eyelids are closed is an obvious one.
3. Feeling "vibrations" as if your body moves back and forth in a rocking motion and you can hardly keep it still.
4. Cold Feet. This usually occurs when you're not grounded well enough.
5. Dissorientation: Usually happens when you come back a bit to fast

Can't mention anything else atm from the top of my head

Finally! its been nearly a month now since my last OBE but last night I had multiple OBEs again. It seems once ive had one throughout the night, Its so easy to keep on having more. I had no vibrations or anything but could hear myself breathing really heavy and my body felt like it was glued to my bed. I clearly remember just knowing that I could astrally step out of bed and so did and I was suprised with how easy it was, usualy I have to like twist all my hips and then snap out.

Once I was out I remember actualy thinking to myself 'right ive gotta try and find something to verify for when I wake up, but I couldnt think of anything. I remember feeling my drawers and television and other stuff and couldnt get over how real they felt, The fact that I knew I was having an OBE, could hear myself breathing and I was stood there in my bedroom feeling physical objects like I would in the physical was intruiging to say the least. I remember trying to look at myself alsleep but I couldnt its like everytime I tried turning my head clockwise.. something was pushing it anticlockwise and it was like I was being pushed along on ice. I decided to go with the flow and remember going backwards through the walls of our house and into our next door neighbours but I couldnt take note of my surroundings properly. Then I went out of our next door neighbours house and managed to control this force down a little bit that was pushing me along and I was floating about outside.

Now usualy at this point I wouldnt dare travel any further but I thought 'no im going to go further this time' So with that thought I started floating down our street and my legs where all over the place as I was trying to get my balance again. I got right round the corner of our street and then I woke up. Then as soon as I woke up, my body felt glued to my bed still so I just closed my eyes and within seconds I was out again... most of the projections though where just a case of stepping out of my bed and floating around my room with my eyes right next to my ceiling or walls and then waking up again. What im quite anoyed about is I didnt bother to put a playing card on my pc desk which ive been doing every night for the last month, incase I project. Then its just my luck that when I didnt put one out, I project. To be honest though im not too sure if Id of been able to see what it was, my footing was all over the place. My vision was ok however but more greyscale rather than colour.

Oh thats what it is!? I always fly around and can't keep myself still under meditation sessions, I thought it was quite funny how the my body just was tipping in circles for no reason
However I don't feel any different when I get these vibrations... I usually sit in meditation for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. I can't lie down and meditate, don't know why, I just guess I like the idea of sitting in a posture where legs are crossed in some weird way

Btw. at times, my feet, legs and hands go completely numb, but when I stop the meditation session and stand up its not like the usual numbness, where you can feel the irritating sensation afterwards... It just comes normal when I stand up... Anyway ideas? I thought it was my posture at first.

Cold Feet? I wish.
When I try to relaxe and stay unmoveable for a time I get the problem that my whole body heats up more and more and more. After a time ..half hour or hour I have to give up because the heat is no more endurable.
Anybody with such a problem or a solution for this?

From outside I would say I block my energy line and keep my chackras closed. I tried to direct the energy outward even with force (act of will). But does not help much. So tried to transform the energy into vibration..hmm well for short moments it helps but not long enough.
Now I remember why I stopped my attempts in the past. I could not pass this barriere.

The funny thing is I came much closer to the seperation point in the past than now and didnt had that heating problem. Something must have changed.

Anyway I guess my world is the lucid dream world with some sneeks into the astral world but without oobe projections in the etheric plane.
)
Ok many astral traveler tell that the astral plane is far more interesting than the etheric plane. Juge from my lucid dream experiences I guess they are right. Maybe I should stick with that.

Im still trying to believe the astral plane actually exists let alone 6 others planes. Same applies for all these different bodys where supposed to have. At first I read about different planes and bodys and its easy to take it all in and think youve learnt more about it but have you really? I think the deeper im starting to look at astral projection, the more I seem to be questioning what im reading.

does anyone know , if this is considered magick ?

I think this is the place where the shamans went to ,

perhaps where the tibeten monks go and others who realize their abilities

I'm sure that what we know, is just the tip of the iceberg

anyone see any reptilians or grays ? I only remember flying around the earth, mostly in my own area , a few square miles maybe.

I haven't been out since last august, it just happened, I wasn't trying. and the time before that...wow, not sure, probably many many years

do any of the successful flyers drink alcohol ? just wondering...

Everything in life is magic(k), just depends what label you give it. Religion, Esoterism, Occult teachings, Science...it all mounts down to the same. So never look at a label, but instead look at the definitions behind the terminology used in each field of life and you'll see that everyone says the say in their own phrases.

Yes I've seen Greys, but all mentioned about reptillians in the center of the Earth is nothing but myth. Also met individuals from Sirius and also Ancturians. I've mentioned before how there are "ships" around our planet on regular base keeping an eye on us.

Why does'n't that suprise me. Many teachings, especially in the new-age circuits, are simply FLAWED. Nothing beats experiencing everything yourself first hand.

All those different planes people speak of only excist if you create them and when you are in need to split things up for easier understanding. Fact is...there are no layers and everything is mingled together.

Expect more questions to arise

I suspect that the space-ships surrounding our planet is not noticable because it resides in some extra-dimension that isn't possible to be seen by our minds and/or they use high technologies that surpasses anything.

I heard it is the Ancturians that surrounds us... And from another source I heard they are extremely loving and kind, I just gotta say; Thank Buddha for that xP

My dreams always involve flying in the air and water, my OBEs so far involve floating/hovering and not much flying at all. 99% of my OBEs happen the day after ive been drinking heavily. Why do you ask btw?

Last night I went to bed at about 2am and tried for approximately two and a half hours to get out.

Quite a few times I felt like I was kind of rising up, but then I notice my body is actually physically rising, I don't mean levitating - I mean I'm tilting my head up, but not purposely. It's like I'm trying to get out but my body is clinging on. Obviously when this gets to a point of uncomfortableness I relax back down, but I feel father away from the point of getting out because I've had to relax myself. Is this normal? Am I on the right track?

Woke up in the morning at 8 without feeling shattered, which surprised me.

One more question - when you guys are doing this where do your eyes go? Do you look at the back of your eyelids or do your eyes roll up as if sleeping?

Cheers

There are some things I don't understand... Why do everyone lie down while meditateing now-a-days? I find I have much more awareness if I sit up...

I've been trying to do this for years but to no avail. I only get to interesting places when passing out or dreaming.
If I lay in bed, it seems like every time I get close to OBE, part of my body itches and I snap out of it before it's complete.
