I've emailed them, asking why there's no audio with the feed. For all we know this could be a shot of some part of Washington DC. I don't know if they will reply to me, but if they do I will post it here.

I download the livestation.com player and seek all Gaza related channels... Ramattan News is just blaa, blaa, blaa... No Live cams so far. Just news cast and recorded clips.

Sorry no fast link.

But there are several arabic stations in Gaza... I wonder if none of them are sending live cams.

And what was source for Aftonbladet? They directed more than 4 different cameras from Gaza / its have to be some channel witch is broadcasting and they buy some airtime from them.

It is somewhere, and we should find that alternative webcam link!!!! Now!

VERY BIG EXPLOSION NEAR TV CENTER!

If Ramattan News, what I am looking also, doesnt soon end their blaah, blaah, blaah... And turn their broadcasting to the rooftop, they are not same guys. I mean for real...

It was very near their post in roof!

AND WTF?

They turn camera away from impact!!! Showing quiet city... Ruins in front of their other side... Hey, hey.... Nothing doesnt look normal now. Why did they turn camera away? Show dead picture?

AND RAMATTAN NEWS DOESNT CARE?

Thre have no meaning to turn broadcast from their blaah, blaah, blaah... Is their guys dangering their asses for nothing?

This goes over my head.

Yesterday our cameraman was doing great work, turning camera to flames, bombs, guns... Now camera stands still, and nothing is shown. Huge explosion in front of their faces, but picture keeps staying in dead angle...

Sending some bu blink "video error" ... Yesterday there was none!

This sucks.

Maybe Ramattan has been told off by the IDF for what they've shown earlier on today?

Are they broadcasting from the same building as Al Jazeera or is it from a different building?

In this moment CNN "Ramattan" link is only one... But there is something very strange in it. After it moves out from Nana-server, camera is passive... Nothing like yesterday. And there is no voice, what is needed to understand what is going.

Just huge explosion was in front of their eye, and smoke and #... but they move camera away from it, showing death angles.

Someone dont want us to see what is going on / they are sending picture, but they are not showing what is happening.

No seeking with camera, no pans, no zooms, no voice... Nothing.

They can send recorded feed with still camera, and we could not recognize the difference in the night time. Really...

As much useful it can be to witness (and report) the horrors the people out there are living, it might be good to not turn this into a morbid fascination or video-game-like frenzy.

People are dying over there.

I dont know, but its all possible.

Guys are working with different style today, cameras are not moving like almost nowhere.

I just said that we saw 5 min ago huge explosion in front of our eyes, camera, and then very fast they move camera out from that place, fires, and smoke...

They show only nothing. And without voice.

Interesting, I wonder what they are upto. The IDF may think that Hamas Militants are getting intelligence from the feed. Or do they just not want the informed public watching as they slaughter innocent people for no reason other than revenge.

The 2nd link worked for me, same footage but just in a smaller picture for asfar as I could see. But now I get a "stream error" on the 2nd link. 1st link is still working fine but without any audio.

While some may be suspecting censorship by the Israelis with this live feed, we should look back at how the USA controlled the press in both Iraq wars, and in Afghanistan... "embedded reporters" Military press releases, most of the news from the battle zones many times was hours old, and live reports rarely included images or video of the actual events. Much of the time the news we got was a stark contradiction of reports from independent news agencies, and especially from Arab news outlets. So it was difficult to assess what was actually going on. By design I'm sure.

Franky, I'm surprised this live feed lasted as long as it did.

From my perspective, after viewing that live feed for hours I've seen enough... Many of us have. we know what is going on. Shutting down the live feed to the public now will not erase what people were able to HEAR and SEE with their own eyes.

The latter is very much what I'm afraid of at the moment due to what I've seen today (buildings deliberately demolished, heavy use of WP, all reserves moving in, etc) they have successfully achieved a media blackout - they will spin that we are still receiving Ramattan through CNN but it's clearly not the same product: camera operation deliberately moving away from action, no sound and the occasional vanishing logo.

For the last hour I've been trawling through the net trying to find some live footage but there are none that I am aware of. I hate the way CNN are selling it as their own doing - look at the top of the window, "CNN.com LIVE... An insight into places rarely caught on camera".

I am so frustrated at the moment, not just about losing the feed but the actions of the IDF and what I think they are up to... the worst being we are powerless to do anything about it or even record the fate of the Palestinian people so it can be used against the perpetrators of these war crimes.

Feed is same in both links.

That Ramattan News sucks... I watched it over hour, and they are just showing their stupid faces... Really.

If they really have only LIVE CAM service in the world in their hands, and huge explosion just caughted to their cameras... Do they still continue that talking 1/2 hour without brake?

I am just saying, that Ramattan has very possibly loose their cameras in rooftop... CNN just took those cameras over, and broadcasting is happening without its origin staff.

Why?

That really is the interesting question.

Evidence:

- Jumping links without notice from Nana to CNN
- Camera work is very passive; no pans, no zooms, no search (i think we all can agree that they have done good work all the time)
- In front of huge explosion they turned camera away
- They offer no sound - without sound in night... There is no war.
- Ramattan news doesnt show "their own" breaking footage in Live broadcast
- Al Jazeera is out from live pictures too

I dont want to jump to conclusions, but believe me, in this crucial moment we just loose our only tool to truth / Thanks also to Zionist CNN - they support this media blackout...
