Livecam from Gaza

Luckily my Aftonbladet feed is still working and hasn't went down once yet besides the sound cutting out a lot for long times. I do wish the Ramattan feed was back, the sound and video quality with all the action was amazing.

so I open up the feed this morning and I get Israeli newscasters .... and they dont look very stressed out. We are taking phone calls and smiling and laughing? I dont understand what they are saying or talking about so I have no clue but what a contrast to what I was seeing before I went to sleep last night.

commercials... golden globe award news? who cares!! it feels like MSM bs now so I wont be tuning in anymore but was informative while it lasted. thanks for the thread all

I will keep hopeful thoughts for all the people being affected by this horrible war.

Looks like aftonbladet is now showing the Ramattan feed. No sound sofar.

Its all about Hospitals, how overloaded they are, lacking supplies, specially when two medic centers have just been under attack.

Like my earlier post pointed out, this is all propaganda on both sides. I know have no doubt. The feed only pointed to what they wanted you to see with no context. You have no way of knowing for sure if what you are seeing is truly what is happening. Now look at the station, definately propaganda and information warfare going on. This war is far from over. Palistine wont let it stop, even if Israel pulled out now, they will not let it end here.

Though I find watching the feeds fascinating, I take it for what it actually is. A distorted view of a tragic war seen through the perspective of a coke bottle.

That's because it's been switched to an Israeli TV channel rather than the Ramattan news network - it's been covered already. How can a live feed with no commentary showing what is happening around the cameras be propaganda? The owner of Ramattan did an interview yesterday which I transcribed (albeit in summary) and posted pages back. See for yourself what he had to say.

Other news organisations like Al Jazeera and PressTV who were using the feed (albeit a direct one) also stopped when we lost Ramattan. We can only presume it's an enforced Israeli media blackout due to IDF stepping up the assault on Gaza city and the crew could give away strategic strategies thanks do their position.

Propaganda is the dissemination of information aimed at influencing the opinions or behaviors of large numbers of people. As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda in its most basic sense presents information in order to influence its audience.


I don't know, maybe the images of the Baby in the hospital come to mind.

Tell me you arnt influenced by the live feed in the slightest. Don't you feel sorry for Palestine?

Dont get me wrong, whats happening really sucks, but dont confuse that live feed with something that is purely just for informational purposes, out of the kindness of their hearts.

Just because people feel a emotion due to viewing something, that doesn't make it propaganda. The live feed of Gaza city was not biased in any what whatsoever - there were no babies at all - the only thing that came close was viewing a report being queued up yesterday that included injured children.

That is the truth, or are you seriously suggesting that it is Arab/Hamas/Palestinian propaganda, pre-recorded to make the IDF look bad when in fact there have been no civilian casualties whatsoever?

Ramattan do it to educate, inform and make money (it is a business after all) - they are not tied to any government or political party. To claim otherwise is just silly...

I did in fact see them show repeatedly an injured baby at the hospital on that live feed that was doing non Live recap or something, along with other youth. It was a few days ago I believe.

No, I am saying it is propaganda. I have no way of knowing who is doing it, but I suppose it is for the Palistinians. Sure, it does give us a view of whats going on, but only a distorted view, because your looking threw a straw at the world.

The way the feeds are switched back and force, leads me to believe their is some sort of informational warfare going on using the "live feeds".

Is Hamas doing it, no idea. But someone is.

They are still there and moving, I wouldn't call them orbs as that implies roundness - look more oblong to me. They are probably drones of some kind - I just counted three, hopefully they will have come out in the screenshot.

Aive feed camera with no commentary..just showing you the situation as it happens.... can not be propaganda. I can not imagine what reason you have for saying it is.
