I saved the dataset from the waves that just went through the park sensors - If I did it right anyway.

Thanks sageturkey!! Came in handy. No my GEE is still going "DUH" for some reason!! . I may try to re-install it and re-configure my routers. I am behind 5 hardware routers as is my servers, so it might just be one of them being stubborn or something.

Well Im used to seeing a 2-3 micron max in GEE when alls normal. Even during heavy swarm times. Its just constant now around 15 to 18 microns. Like a rolling quake. This perks my interest, we have some other type of activity happening now.

It looks like it but it is from the Afghan quake. I posted about it on the previous page in this post, where I give links to the USGS data that show the quake trace times on some Yellowstone (and several other US) stations. This is quite normal with larger quakes if their positioning is right, and as the Afghan quake is very close to 180 degrees away, the signal is very good.

I went through all the Yellowstone regions and they all have some degree of the same zipper like disturbance. Hiccups??

Don't take this as gospel but it wouldn't surprise me if it's after-effects from the mag 7.6 in Indonesia. That is a very powerful quake, which released about 32-to-the-power-4 times more energy than a 3.6 would and produced about 10,000 times as much total ground movement. (I guess you might know that already but for any who don't, every order of magnitude equates to around 10 times the ground movement and 32 times the energy release.)

So I'd say there could be a lot residual effects still bouncing around from it and even though that part of the US is on the edge of the shadow zone, it could be what you are seeing.

Like I say, not 100% on this. Don't see mag 7.6 quakes every day (thank the Lord) but they can have massive effects far afield. (On seismographs I mean, as well as triggering other quakes.)

Thats pretty interesting if thats whats causing it. Being that far away and showing up on the Yellowstone graphs. Anyhow going back to watching my charts.
