I'm thinking the readings from Yellowstone lake right now are nothing more than a ringing type response to the big 7.6 quake in Indonesia. I remember that being brought up after the big quake a couple of years ago.

not sure if anyone has already posted this.. but

hisz.rsoe.hu...
they updated the earthquakes in yellowstone and have declared it volcanic activity.. interesting indeed!

It's almos the same pattern but extremely aggresive. Wow !

It's gotta be from the 7.5

This sure has raised my awareness and ability to track and try and make sense of such an interesting subject as volcanology.

At least I HOPE that's from the 7.5

Then that wave pattern is spot on harmonic.

It looks very interesting. It is definitely an entirely new pattern. Let's see if the wave keeps getting wider by the minute. Woah.

It's the 7.2
You'll see it in some form except in quake shadow zones.

Afghanistan and Indonesia is far, far, far away from Yellowstone. Lets keep this thread on the topic, which is Yellowstone. The other quakes can be discussed in other threads.

I believe these may be the first true harmonics we have seen. The others may have just been high frequency tremors ( which still technically indicate volcanic activity). The are even waves that continue onward, spot on. No doubt harmonics.

5.9 in stan, AFTER these readings were assumed to be ringings in the earth...

Chain reaction? Keep your eyes peeled...

I think that what we're asking is:
Is what we're seeing on the Yellowstone seismographs related to what just happened over there?

I know that my focus is still right here in my back yard and I'd appreciate any educated information on what I'm seeing at the moment. Looks like a whole lot of movement to me.

we are keeping it on topic - these quakes started at the same time the strange waves started and 7.8 you don't see every day -

the quake that broke the Bay Bridge in San Francisco was a 7.8

there have been many quakes in the world during all of this that no one has mentioned - but I think it is wise to have these recorded in the thread.

(it's not all that far away - it just looks it cuz the map doesnt curve around back to us)

and remember the indonesian tsunami quake spread ripples to hawaii -

They certainly look way more harmonic than the previos days' messy seismograms:

4 major types of seismograms
