How can anyone seriously think that Israel is a friend of the United States?

They are more of a threat to us than any alleged terrorist group could ever be.

because all of our friends spy on us in mass stealing our secrets and also blow up our military ships like the USS Liberty. When you have friends like that who needs enemies?

I understand what u r saying but if a war is not just then it turns political. Thats just how free societies work. When Japan attacked us the government had full support and look what happened. There was never any second guessing and we owned Japan. Since then we fought Vietnam (who never attacked us) N Korea (Who never attacked us) Iraq (Who never attacked us) and soon Iran (who hasnt attacked anyone) Afghanistan u can thank our government for the existence of the Taliban...

You cant keep fighting unjust wars and getting into other peoples business without there being blowback. Thats just how it is and its not going to change in a free society. USSR maybe but not a free society. I understand when you go to war you go all out but its impossible to get that support for wars that are deemed unjust.

Numbers in conflict mean diddly squat.

I'm guessing you are refering to those who perish as a result of droping bombs and firing of machine guns by happy triger pulling idiots? It may not count for you, but it does for others. You would be surprised that there still is an overwelming majority who thinks that bad stuff is still bad.
If you would be in someone else shoes you would understand. I'm glad I'm able to feel what others feel, tho it sadens me I can understand it's what makes me a human being.Apart from that I know people can come to a point where they just don't give squat, those are weak.Only a composed person who is able to feel the outcome as it trully is can survive in this world. The rest will just perish in the shadow, as they eat up their lifes with greed.

That day could come sooner than later.

You are right, my friend. We are on the brink of financial disaster, and few of the members of Congress understand what they have done to us, with their actions.
In addition, our misdirected unswerving support of Israel is going to drag us into something that no one can win. It's about time that we cut the strings to Israel and tell them that if they continue their aggression, they are on their own. If they know that we will not support them militarily, they might be more amenable to more serious negotiations with their neighbors.
Israel has much too much to say about what happens in Congress, and I'm afraid that Obama is also in Israel's pocket.

You can bet on that, just wait and see the change. It's all hocus pocus and more of the same crap.

I don’t understand Israel's thinking.

Killing 300 people, expecting the families, friends and countrymen to just renounce aggression and side with Israel.

If someone wiped out my town, I sure as hell wouldn’t feel positive toward them.

I still cannot believe Hamas, would abide by a ceasefire for 6 months, then the day it ends provoke Israel with a rocket barrage.

You don’t obey a truce only to commit the crime the minute it ends.

And now we have Israel preparing to send tanks in '' all be it post a massive airstrike ''

We have Pakistan and India sending troops to the borders and talking rhetoric,

And we have a weapons warehouse in Iran suddenly go up...

All conveniently after Xmas while everyone’s on holidays.

too many co-incidences.

Right and I pointed that out to Dooper earlier. If we told Israel hey your mouth is being pulled from the US government nipple they WOULD for sure be more aggressive in coming to a peace agreement. Hamas had what I felt was a fair agreement and Israel turned it down. Why? Because why negotiate with anyone or try to be friends with anyone when the US has got your back.

Yeah. I remember those words from the hippies in the late 60's and early '70's. Give peace a chance.

Powerful words, so powerful that is the originating point of when American manufacturing began to be transferred off shore to begin the process of bankrupting a nation whose citizens had amassed enough wealth to leisurely pursue undesired concepts and notions like peace.

The level of peace or conflict will always reach its own level, and will be constantly self-adjusting.

Think of me as an Adjuster. Wait until you see the bill!

When you avoid a match, and postpone it time after time, then when the match does happen, the measures required to correct matters are multiples of the original costs.

I am not avoiding the match; I am utilizing good intelligence to identify all the enemies to peace.

Your mistake is in thinking you can choose your enemies. You can't.

I like making friends what can I say? I leave my front door unlocked at night, never lock my car door. Frankly I have no enemies. I genuinely find a way to be helpful enough to everyone to be their friend, or at least a tolerated acquaintance. Why most people who know me swear they are never sure whether they want to hit me or hug me

Your other mistake is in thinking reciprocation is automatic. It isn't.

Yes I have dated a woman or two in my time. I know all about this!

Your other mistake is in thinking you have control. You don't.

Why would I want to control anything, life is fluid and the fun is in the surprises and challenges, I did manage to secure my favorite Chile for dinner tonight though! Last night I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express!

You run to your enemies.

I don’t run anywhere, not in a rain storm or a hail of bullets, it’s simply undignified.

You meet them head on.

I prefer the beach; it’s sunny, warm and pleasant. Can you say Aloha good buddy?

You crush their will.

Why would you destroy something you could simply redirect to a more positive and mutually agreeable end?

You break their hearts.

I really don't mean too, I guess I am just too set in my ways huh?

Then you win.

Can't take that with you when you go my good man. Some though would say it's not whether you win or loose but how you play the game.

A Very interesting story coming out on Australian news atm,

Apparently Israel set this up, fake radio announcements, leave announcements, aid deliveries...

very interesting...

www.news.com.au...

A SEEMINGLY offhand report on Israel Radio that the Cabinet would meet over the weekend to plan a military operation in the Gaza Strip was a feint, which set up Hamas for Israel's surprise strike.

The radio report, on Friday, was a final move in six months of planning and deception leading up to the strikes, The Australian reported.

A large group of Hamas security staff completing an officers' training course were outdoors at their base just before noon on Saturday, standing in formation at a graduation ceremony, when the planes struck, killing and wounding many of them.

Scores of targets across Gaza were hit simultaneously by the first Israeli wave, catching Hamas staff in facilities that were supposed to be have been evacuated before the fighting started.

Adding to the deception was a surprise announcement by Defence Minister Ehud Barak on Thursday that, despite the tension and war-edge atmosphere, trucks carrying humanitarian supplies would be permitted to enter the Strip. The supplies crossed into Gaza on Friday, encouraging the notion that a military strike was not imminent.

Finally, Israel's Southern Command was sent on leave on Friday and, further adding to the element of surprise, the operation was launched on the Jewish Sabbath.

"Hamas was watching and listening," said Haaretz newspaper, adding that the rulers of Gaza tracked the army's movements and took the bait.

Pepsi, I apologize for not making my thoughts clear. I am speaking of numbers of enemies.

If you are only five, and they are fifty, then you don't assume they have the advantage and run. You engage intelligently, with greater ferocity, more determination, greater skill of arms, and you will win.

That's what I'm talking about speaking about the numbers.

Being outnumbered doesn't matter.

Alexander conquered the known world with a force one-fifth the size of his enemy's force.

Did I get this across better?

wait wait wait am i reading this correctly? This is saying after months of food and aid shortages Israel let some aid in so the enemy would not think an attack is coming then bomb them going for the aid?

First you claim that you can't recall insulting anyone, and then you insult me again. You think wrapping your insults into some sort of attempt at being clever makes them less of an insult. That technique only works of barbarians, my poor insecure friend.

Yeah, I am familiar with the whole CFR story. It really has nothing to do with what is going on. It is all part of a big cover up to hide who is doing what to whom.

I am also familiar with the story of how things unfolded during the original attempt to create independent states for Israel and Palestine. It was the Arab Muslims who pulled a false flag operation ending Brittains efforts to enable a controlled and peaceful creation of Israel and Palestine states. It became clear from the beginning that Muslims would never play fair, and this problem continues on to this day. It is the same situation all over the world. As I keep pointing out, the recent attacks in India are just addition examples of how these Muslim radicals conduct their business.

As has been pointed out in this thread, faking attacks and setting up innocents for slaughter tend to be standard tactics for Muslim terrorists.

I personally have zero use for muslims, but let me ask you this:

Do you believe Israel has a "right" to exist?

You always feint your enemy. In fact, multiple feints from multiple directions is just how the mongoose defeats the cobra.

I'll do this once rather than address multiple posts.

If for example the US leaders decide that action is to be taken against a country, and the US military goes in hard, fights hard, destroys the enemy, and does so very, very quickly, then no one has time to work up an angry, no one can bitch about the costs, as they've been held to a minimum.

Every American loves a winner. If you are steady kicking ass, there will be few complaints.

The nightmare we've suffered is the same day, same way stupidity.

"What's it like here?"

"We get up, go out, and kill a few of them. Then they kill a few of us. Next day, same thing."

That is how we've been fighting, and that's a damned nightmare. It's prohibitively expensive in both funds and American blood.

But if you go in to win, without any arbitrary political restrictions that would inhibit the military from taking the most efficient approach, and win quickly, then no foul.

Your friends would want to remain friends, and your enemies would want to keep a low profile.

War is brutish. If it's done correctly. No pretty way to do it, no nice way to win. It's blood and horror, or it isn't war.

Anything less is inhumane. Anything less causes a war to continue without resolution. That's why you make it brutal on the front end - for a quick victory.

In the decades to follow, no one will care how nice the losers were, no one will give a $#!t about tactical excellence. They will only remember who won.

Yes, I believe Israel has a right to exist. I see no reason why a non-Islamic country can not exist in the Middle East. There are many, many advantages to the west for Israel to continue to exist. As Middle East oil slowly begins to run out, these reasons will be even more clear.

Do you believe everyone has a right to live wherever they want?

No, its saying Israel deliberatley let food go in, during a time of conflict talk and rhetoric, to give the impression they wouldnt attack.

Its saying Israel let loose some radio transmissions to make Hamas believe no strike was coming, IE troops on leave and such.

Exactly. Israel wouldnt exist if they didnt have their hands planted firmly up the asses of the United States government. They know the U.S. would protect them, hence they can act like retarded children throwing tantrums when they dont get their way.

Seriously, these wars need to end. When will humanity ever realize that we are all one and the same. Time to drop the egos. This event in Gaza is going to have some serious backlash for alot of countries, primarily the United States. We give those Israeli douches the money to buy the weapons they use to kill an oppressed people. I'd always felt some sadness for the Jewish people for what happened to them in WWII, but now, I have to say I don't feel bad for it at all, because they are now no worse than the Nazis. In fact, they might be worse.
