Perhaps the enemy will stop fireing rockets after their oppressor stops blockading their boarders and quits keeping food and medical supplies from reaching them and stops forcing them to live in conditions you wouldnt even think about living in.

There are two sides to this issue friend..and like it or not, the US is more involved in all of this than you want to believe.

I understand US' involvement. Dude I am an Iraqi I know what the US has done in the M.E.

I will play out the scenario for you just for fun. Israel opens Gaza strip help arrives, dozens of suicide bombers run into Israel and blow up. How is Israel guaranteed their safety from Hamas militants if they open the Gaza strip? Answer: They are not. That is when Hamas will do their best attacks and that is when we come on here and say OMFG look what happened!

Dude there are 3 sides to the issue not just 2. Israeli's, Palestinians, and Hamas. If Palestinian people would give up Hamas people they would be safer. Look at where Hamas has lead them. Nowhere but war, and death.

Let us not forget that the Hamas leaders hate Israel and will continue to hate Israel.

Here is a little time line of events

Israel formed
Arabs attack, and attack, and attack on a daily basis for decades
Israel fights back, declared the evil ones
Arabs keep attacking, targeting children and women
Israel begs for peace
Arabs kill more babies
Israel calls for peace
Arabs claim they are starving, after smuggling in millions of dollars worth of weapons then attack Israel and pound them with missile after missile after missile for days on end
Israel finally counter attacks
People on ATS declare death to Israel

Kind of sad. As long as you call yourself a Palestinian you can murder women and children and be a hero to these people. Maybe OBL needs to claim he's a Palestinian so these people will support him.

Your post is truly sad. How bias you can be towards other nations when they are not the only ones doing this. Christians have led crusades in killing countless amount of peoples yet the US led crusades against Muslim nations is acceptable?

Look you speaking about killing a lot of people for the countless few that provoked these actions. At least when the US invaded they still tried to help as many people by providing food and aid. Israel has blocked off Gaza completely The Palestinian innocent people see no incentives in giving help to Israel because in return they will not be promised safety or food.

There are other ways to deal with these situations. Israel is going about it in the wrong manner.

Hamas is an Islamist organisation, unlike the secular Arabs who were against the repressive Ottoman Empire across the region. After the First World War, France and Britain gave the Arabs their land - Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan.

History became complicated when the British implemented the Balfour Declaration, which effectively gave the International Zionist Movement what they desired - Palestine.

Arabs felt betrayed because the British promised the Arabs a Union and nationhood. Those offended nations, refused to recognise Israel. After the Six-Day war in 1967, the Arab League recognised Israel but the Iranians financed the Islamic factions in the area (which the secular Arab League did not support.)

Read a book called The New Middle East by Shimon Peres, Israeli President, because its a unbiased reflection on relations in the Middle East. Israel knows the Arabs want peace, but Iran has been financing the Islamic factions in the area - Hamas and Hezbollah. Throughout the 1980s, Iran was the problem in the region - not the Arabs.

To castigate the Arabs is misguided and a ill-calculated analysis of the situation.

That's more or less what I think but it's easy for us to say that from the safety of the safe and stable countries many of us live in. Try thinking about it from the Israeli perspective and the Palestinian perspective also. They both have people wanting to kill them and bombs and missiles hitting their cities. Do you really think you would be able to be calm and collected in that situation or would you want to hurt your enemy the way he is hurting you?

What is illogical GG is saying that a youtube video, linked off a higher res video on another site or not, is something to be considered as cannon at all regardless of where an original is located, is haphazard at best.

And who is to say that even the original is not another form of propeganda for the good ol US of A's benefit?

As to the 9/11 stuff...well there is plenty of debate about that all over the net, and a majority of that began long before youtube was even in exsistance.

Point is..youtube is no authority for finding credible information given its plethoria of countless rediculous and outlandish content that severely overloads the "bogus" meter than it does the "legit" meter.

IDF cowards on the grounds are crapping their pants because they really don't wana enter gaza.They are using media to scare hamas into accepting a cease-fire.

IDF has realised that months of cease-fire have given hamas enough time to re-arm itself to the brim and any ground action in gaza will kill a ton of israeli soldiers.
