See my post above. The west has aligned themselves with the most stringent forms of Islam but denounces those that are more tolerant of other religions. Including Judeaism. I wonder why. News bits?

Your question is rhetorical nonsense. It's not a matter of tolerance, it's a matter of politics, do I really need to educate you on the small things you choose to ignore and/or research?

And why would you want to spread Christianity in Saudi anyway? Why would you want to build churches to convert people? .. you sound just like the people you are speaking against.

On a personal note, I don't believe in law governed by any religion, completely disagree with the application of religion combined with state. And every country has fundamental flaws which I cannot deny ESPECIALLY when it comes to Saudi, but it isn't the whole story as you make it out to be.

Tell me how tolerant Islam is in the same country that houses Islam's holiest sites.

Not as half as tolerant as many of us would wish, but that's due to the government NOT the public and/or Muslims.

I'd like to add that if any Saudi ever wanted to research Christianity or read the Bible then they are legally allowed to do so under Saudi law.

Dude, I don't know where to find the data on the net but I can assure you that you can read the bible and worship Jesus all you want here, as long as you don't attempt to start a "movement" if you catch my drift.

I know lots of Christians here in Saudi, many of them just love it here and never wanna go back to their countries(including the U.S) because they feel that they have more freedom here(believe it or not), not to mention that we have NO TAXES and everything is pretty cheap.

Islam IS tolerant, but as I stated before.. It is my government that aren't tolerant. And who said that Islam can be taught anywhere?

Even though I'm not a fanatic, I agree with you on this particular point. People should have the freedom to teach whatever religion they preach in whatever country they want. What matters when we're talking about Saudi is whether Islam is an extreme or violent religion as you stated before and whether Saudi(as a society) is also.

Well, I've never actually seen someone do what you suggest but I'm sure they'll probably end up getting in trouble if the point was to convert Saudis. But as I said before, you can do whatever you want here as long as you don't have any political agenda which may threaten the stability of the society. I know alot of folks that have numerous bibles, but they don't go passing them around in Arabic form.

And just for my personal curiosity, where were you educated?

I studied in many countries, first was London, then the U.S for a couple years, came back to Saudi for a couple years and studied here, then back to London then back to here because I had to for family reasons. Almost went to Canada through an institution here called Millenium that gets you a degree from Lambton College.

It's amazing that on a website that's motto is Deny Ignorance you would have people that still actually believe they see the truth being spun to them on their tv news station and will blast anything that is on YouTube. May I remind some that almost all news video that has been used for tv is available on YouTube. That means they must disregard the tv media also. Only makes sense...

Lets wake up and do some checking before you start believing the news. The links provided on this thread will lead to others on YouTube and to other websites that have substantial proof that this is an ongoing thing.

So, would you believe that hundreds are dead and children are dying from a media who has been proven in a court to have faked footage and mis-stated deaths???? When you actually take the time to check the sources out you can find the info. why is it people can take the time to continually banter back and forth but don't have the time to check out the data..... too time consuming.... find the time...

And do you expect 1 video, going through 4 appeals to get its way, is proof that the thousands of other photos and videos taken by outside journalists and photograperhs are also fake as well?

Should a place where crazy wanabe's putting themselves on video in you tube dressed up in aluminum foil, doing crazy stunts like banging their faces into the pavement off a skateboard, acting like blooming nutcases, is a place to find credible and worthy information?

How about the historical record found in the library of congress, the Israeli foriegn minister's office, the BBC, the many other far more credible sources to the thousands of videos and photographs of dead children and adults taken by journalists who are not Palestinian journalists? Are all those fake too and just photos out of Israel only real?

Check out the info that is available to you RF... There are links to several websites that are not youtube. Maybe do a "google" search... That's a neat place to start a search for data... then if you find more then you that will be two and then so-on and so-on.... Wow... your fast to jump on me for saying something but I noticed you still didn't bother to check anything mentioned here or on the other thread you tried to bash.... you get around and have a busy schedule...

find the time to check out some info yourself... you will learn at the same time...

Just becase that 1 video is posted at several websites does not mean that it is more than 1 video. Nor does it mean that the thousands of others since the year 2000, all from outside news agencies and journalists, are all fake too. And it certianly does not mean that only photos and videos out of Israel are real and the ones out of Gaza are not.

This "pallywood" bit is all basing its entire argument from 1 single video against the thousands of others since the year 2000. And people are actually saying becasue of that 1 video from the year 2000, that all others since from other sources are fake as well.

No thanks..I like to think on my own I dont need to follow that mind trap lemming.

And maybe you might want to read through the entire thread instead of just the last 1 or two pages before passing judgement on me and see where I actually stand on this issue. Thank you.
