As much as I look forward to all the doom and gloom threads, I could really do without all the ranting and raving about who's right who's wrong. Sad when you can read 20+ pages of post without any sort of additional new information on the topic.

From the looks of the military strategy of Israel thus far they're either not going to do much or awaiting higher levels of preparedness from ground forces. The right way to lob missiles, rockets and mortars into an enemy target is to have ground forces advancing onto the targets just meters behind. But then again I do think I read a few days ago that weather was a issue for an air assault.

Not to get off topic, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Indian/Pakistan issue escalates quickly way before this ever gets too exciting.

Na..none of those videos are only focusing on wounded and someone at the video editing room inserts CG saying "dead", to support the fabricated pallywood propeganda to gain support for the oppressor. Na that wouldnt happen at all would it.

Again, go study the history of all this that began in 1946 why dont you. Learn exactly why the Palestinians do what they do since having their backs up against a wall forced into a tiny corner and supressed ever since. Find out why they launch attacks at an oppressor who has blockaded all of their resources, even from the UN, and why they have to fight from neighborhoods and apartment rooftops, they dont exactly have much room to fight from anywhere else..go look at a map.

The history is right there and is far, far more credible and verifiable than your pallywood garbage. But of course if fancy creative videos is all you care to look at, well I feel sorry for you because that only means your unwilling to know the truth.

Since 1946 the Palestinians have been forced to compress down into a landmass no bigger than some ranch lands here in the US. Expecting an entire society of over 1.3 million to surive, thrive and live comfortably with their oppressing neighbor is hardly living, its enslavement, forced living conditions and blockades spanning 60 years.

Try living in a rat maze where at every turn, every corner, your blocked off and no way out, no way for food and medicines to come in. The oppressor has total control and continues to control everything that goes in and everything that goes out...and has had this control for over 60 years. Even the US has had to get involved and smack Isarel's face and say pull back, quit the blockades and let these people get food and medicines and come to the negotiating table to resolve this..yet every time Israel would refuse. Now they have a supporting administration of the US that glady condones blockades, hi tech weapon missile attacks, covert black operations into a territory they already occupy, and expect the world to view it as "their right to defend themselves".

Well thats fine, Israel can defend itself so why does the US have to be involved by sending hords of money and hardware when only 30 years ago the US was trying to stop the fighting and oppression by Israel? What chain of events suddenly took the US from negotiations host to oppressor supporter?

Again look at the entire history instead of your youtubellywood entertainment videos. Unless those of you just do not want to see the real story..the whole story, it would explain a great many things.

Google is your friend. Books at the local library or college campus are your friends. Try it, its quite easy and you will be amazed at the plethoria of history fall right into your screen, true historical fact.

"*face palm*" is childish youtubery. The issue we are debating is about the catastrophe in Gaza. Most unfortunate that some people disregard any discourse. At least other zionists attempt to make counter points to those made by concerned world citizens on ATS.

Never been to Israel. As for the Arab world why can't they all be like Kuwait? Kuwait from what I've read and seen doesn't get involved in this stuff. They're too busy letting their women drive and selling oil or what ever to sell weapons to Hamas. Or Egypt, after they made a truce with Israel they leave them alone. Actually I'd love to see Egypt... If I could only go out at night and stuff due to my condition. I doubt the Pyramids are as glorius in the middle of the night though, bleh.

I really don't understand Hamas' tactics...why send volleys of a few rockets at a time, when the Qasaam artillery rocket, much like the Katyusha, was designed to be rained down in the hundreds/thousands at a time?

I really thought these folks were at the cutting edge of 'freedom fighting', they need to either adopt a mass-barrage strategy or redesign the Qasaam.

This could be in the form of either a two-stage rocket projectile, or more preferrably in terms of material resource use, long-range glide-bomb strap-on unit...such a technical development would enable them to extend their reach by tens of miles at the least

Israel fires back at Hamas.
US tells Hamas to stop, all the while paying Israel to continue.

Look GG, if you simply examine that history your gonna find that your pallywood does not exsist at all. Your also going to find exactly what transpired on both sides, why those things transpired, and who got involved to try to settle the conflicts and even find out who refused to settle, to which is why all of this continues to this day.
