I will describe it as Israel going in to take care of a problem that won't go away-Hamas and 200+ people have been killed. It is unknown at this time how many were civilians.

Israel is known for targeting civilians and their infrontstructure, they say they target militants yet they kill more civilians then any attack on Israel does in a decade in one day.

But over in the West Bank, WITHOUT HAMAS, things are getting a lot better now!

The economy is getting stronger and, well, they aren't lobbing rockets at Israel and being attacked in retaliation.

Even if Hamas goes away,there will always be millitants resisting IDf and its brutal incurssions.

Actually, the going price for an AK is much higher than it is here in the States.

These Gazans are paying upwards to $6,000 apiece for a good weapon. Now if the average cost of living is $2 a day, then I have no pity for any dumbass electing to eat grass so he can stroke his AK.

If civilians are killed it is because Hamas and Hezbullah organize it that way so people can give them sympathy cause civilians are getting killed. Why do these groups place their weapons amid the civilians? Why do they fire their weapons from civilian houses? Cause they want civilian deaths so people like some on this site can cry about how bad Israel is for going after civilians.

IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Askenazi states "Gaza operation to last for several weeks." Sounds like they are going to do this thing proper style.

I agree that innocent people are being killed by both sides. But how do you expect Israel to seek peace if Hamas doesn't believe in peace? you have to ask yourself why you don't see the same problem happening in the West Bank where Abbas is. That's because Abbas is sitting down at the table trying to work out peace.

Without out need for Hamas or Fatah, what would Palestinian people be able to choose or get??? Both Parties need to have the average Palestinian subservient to the "Greater Cause" for them to stay in control. If there were ever a vibrant Middle Class in the West Bank or Gaza, do you think Hamas and Fatah would support it? Do you think the Middle Class would support Hamas or Fatah's "Endless war of Liberation"?

Just asking,

Soon Palestinians will start asking these same questions. After 50 years maybe they will be willing to try a different path.

Looks staged to me. There doesn't appear to be any signes of blast damage and the victims are still clothed with no signs of shrapnel wounds. Definately staged.

Abbas Has full support from Israel
they have split Hamas and Fatah

when Hamas first came to power Israels first job was to isolate them
then it was to get everyone to freaze assests.
even after Hamas said they would hold talks, Israel rejected it.

you say Hamas doesnt believe in peace, when Israel showed clearly from day one they dont want to speak with them.

so my question how can anyone speak of peace when the second party doesnt want to listen but would rather isolate and make things worse?
