This statement is going to cause conflict.

Martial law in the US is used only when things are out of control.

When things get to that point you WILL find the there are three groups.
The military
Innocent Civilians
And a number of criminals/gangs that take advantage of the situation.

In this type of situation the military WILL fire on the criminals/gangs.

The first thing the media will report is that the military fired on civilians.
the media will not report that these were armed criminals/gang members.

The media will not care that these were armed criminals/gang members because that would not be the news they want to report.

I am ex military and i would not have fired on innocent civilians in the US
But at the same time i would have fired on armed criminal/gangmembers that did not immediately surrender when we confronted them.

That means that under martial law you need to be vary careful when you see military troops that you are not seen as a armed criminal/gang member
Do not point a weapon at the military under martial law.
Do not roam the streets armed during martial law.

Make sure you do not pose a threat to the military that you meet during martial law and you will be safe.

Some of the military personal may be hunting criminals and gang members to play with ie shoot. These military troop likely came from cities where gangs were a major problem and to them they will not take a chance and are likely just to shoot the criminal/gang member. (no big loss)
Many of these criminals/gang member will do things that are stupid and give the military good reason to shoot them. good ridance.

I have personally spoken many times with other railroaders who work the parts that I have missed. Is this clear enough? In other words I know what I am talking about.

In all my experience and in the experience of EVERYONE else I have spoken with THERE ARE NO BOXCARS CONVERTED FOR PRISONER USE STORED IN THE STATE OF MONTANA.

My experience with working with the U.S. military (un-officialy, over 25 years)is the vast majority are very direct, honest, and the kind will BS you LESS then any group I have ever had the honor to know. As an American I am deeply greatfull, and very proud of our armed services. Knowing there is always someone who insults both their brothers and sisters in the the Service's, and us, most just don't.

I say this about few people en'mass, but if given "the rules",most by far would bust their ass to do what they think is not just following "the legal book". The Military Code of Justice requires both officers be aware in detail, and the enlisted to have at least a basic understanding of the concept of an illegal, or in other words criminal order. To obey a criminal order makes one as guilty as every one up the chain-of-command. But in the heat of what has to be severe stress your taught to act first. This for the most part, in a percieved life or death situation is logical, but only to a point.

What can be spooky for me, is we have non-lethal weapons employed for dealing with "problem people". Yes, I would rather have us employ said things should it be desperately needed, methods of crowd contol that don't kill, or permanently wound people, of course anyone, starting with my own people.

Think about it: if we can't treat our own people with the basics of respect, do you really expect us to do any better with ANY ONE ELSE? But we do have technologies that go beyond making you feel like your on fire that use focused microwaves or you use numerous rather simple technologies that interfere with the ear, first causing GREAT pain, then SEVERE incapacitation, vertigo, etc. We can also just "zap" you, ( some what different technology), give you the worse case of being "sea sick" you can ever imagine.

Part of the technology will also have you empty your GI tract; up AND down. Nasty. This taken to extreme can result in severe dehydration-and- depletetion of your electrolytes and will first cause fatique, disoriantation-lack of co-ordination, and worse case, screw with your muscles, such as a real bad "charlie horse", and present possible life threating cardiac arythmia's Thats how this would work for REASONABLY YOUNG ADULTS. Both extreme HF ultra, and infra-sound, tightly focused and a "beam pattern" along with microwave weapons can literally fry your brain, and/or boil it. They were designed to be capable of being quite, in taking out troops in combat, on aircraft, ships, etc. Then there's stuff that's one hell of a lot worse.

We get in the very scary area that deals with technologies that create "variations of judgement and perception-awareness/interpretation". Then the creation of "disassociation". Look it up and thats a full blown mental illness, and no, I don't know if it would last after it was "turned off", be treatable, etc. I diden't work on this. Military targeted weapons of many "non-lethal" types can be lethal.

However, there are crowd control technologies that are a little messy, that I helped design that drop the friction between any two or more points, to make you fall on your butt, very hard really, but assuming you don't strike an object, etc; you will keep sliding for a very long time because, it creates certain "boundry area's" between between two or more points. You don't need to cover both points. I had them try it on me, (after initial safety tests, I'm good but not an idiot). It's also designed not to be to toxic, and it's always better not causing , well, your brain/organs to boil, burst, you get the idea. We can spread a chemical, (though I woulden't suggest you drink it), thats actually, since I was involved in it's developement quite non-toxic.

It reduces friction between any two surfaces and I ASSURE you won't only be able to walk, but stand up. I cant and wouldent go into what and how it does it's thing with any target, specificly machinery. You got to see it to believe it, its effects on machines is SO COUNTER INTUITIVE... But any technology no matter how well designed, can be abused. There are documented cases of torture by police, and others who I woulden't trust w/a sling shot, and who used a Taser, Stun Gun, etc, "a little to aggressively". OK, some times it may be required to Tase, Stun, Pepper Spray some one a number of times, who is really wacked-out on Meth, psychotic, etc. They can be off their rocker for what ever reason, thats testable. And it should be SOP when ever force is used to extreme.

By any one "officially" to use this force. And of course, civilians. I am working on both a medical protocol to test blood/tissue chemistry, and by asking questions if this (multiple hits) has happened. As much as I would like to keep the standards we use for professional evaluation confidential, it WON'T stay that way, most specificly basic questions and medical tests. We, after vetting proceedures improve our testing methods, "forever", we must continue to develope all levels of diagnostics, and I will continue to work on that.

If they are on patrol during a curfew or martial law they will shoot you dead in your tracks if they catch you stealing, looting, raping or driving around flashing your sign and waving a gun. If you have a freaking problem with you gov't, call your rep. tell them waht you think. Start a blog, start a non-profit, advertise, become a journalist and report crooked politicians.

I agree, soldiers do not blindly follow unreasonable orders, hell, during 'Nam a lot of officers got fragged for just such orders. The old "gung ho" soldiers of WW2 are no more, todays Army is intelligent, well read, and know what is going on. And, the military is not the only one who have weapons....a lot, and I mean a lot of Americans are sitting on an arsenal in, or near their homes right now, automatic weapons, explosives and all.

I can verify both of those statements. An officer my husband served with got shot three times by his own troops while in 'Nam. And many of those veterans are definately sitting on "home defense hardware"

Also there was an agreement signed with the Canadian Military on Feb 14 2008 for support during civil unrest.

I always laugh whenever reading something like this. The military thinks they are just so damn smart and well-prepared. The truth is there have not been enough instances of something like this to make an assumption about anything. As a rough estimate there are about 1.5 million active military personnel, with another 1.5mil in reserve. That's 3 million total give or take.

According to the Police Foundation, there are 192 million million working firearms in private possession; 128 million long guns and 64 million hand guns. That number continues to grow. You do the math...

Sure the military have their tanks, bombs, assault rifles, jets etc., but they will still lose in the end if it comes down to this situation.

Remember, they should be afraid of us, not the other way around. They are outnumbered significantly even with all of their weapons.

Besides, what good does it do when the southeastern U.S. and the midwestern states have broken away from the United States That's where the majority of all weapons lie...

If "They" where planning on using our own forces or the forces of other nations to enforce martial law here in the US, don't you think they would find a way to take away our right to bear arms before this took place? I mean there not stupid, "they" know what would happen if this took place, and we still had the right to own weapons. I think that "they" will indeed try to take away that right just like they did with Australia. It might happen after they get the North American Union in place, and our constitution is destroyed in the process of this (which has already taken much damage in the name of home land security[ Thanks to Bush]). This will all happen when "they" offer there solution to a problem they have created themselves I.E. problem reaction solution(9-11 comes to mind).

Yeah....I just got out of the Marine Corps, and I never met anybody trained to shoot women and babies. Almost the exact opposite is true. Also, I live in Montana now (orginaly from MT), and I've never seen these boxcars he's talking about. There are FAR too few Marines to inact a takeover of the US. Also, Marines in Billings....there is a USMCR Recon unit based in MT, don't remember where exactly.

I think that if told, the marines will kill civilians.

First, think of the milgram experiment. When given orders to kill from a 'higher up', a huge percentage of people will do it. And that experiment is basic, with no other motivation.

Now add onto that how the military works. They will use heavy 'briefings', ie indoctrination, to make them believe any resistance is terrorism.

I would estimate that around 90 to 95% of marines would take the order if the programming was done properly, and US military programming/brainwashing is some of the best in the world.
