Just wondering, why do so many of you seem to hate Jesus?

I respect Jesus for his teachings but I hate him for his failure to give his followers instructions to leave other people alone.

A lot of aboriginal cultures were destroyed in the name of Jesus. I think one of the Mexican indian chiefs they burnt at the stake said it best. "I'd rather be in hell with my friends than in heaven with the Christians."

You claim that there is a lot of evidenc for the resurection of jesus, could you point us in the direction of this evidence ?

A good place to start is the change in behaviour exhibited by the Apostles during and just after the Crucifixtion. They hid away from the authorities out of fear. Once they had encountered Jesus, ressurected, this completly changed and they went out emboldned and ready to spread the Good News. The process was not instant - first they scoffed at the idea of the ressurection when Mary Magdaline told them of it. Thomas disbelieved his own eyes and demanded proof, from Jesus, that he wasnt a ghost. Eventually the penny dropped! Remember, nearly all of the Apostles went on to martydom. They proclaimed what they had seen and never recanted. Sure, there have been martyrs in every religion hoping for reward after death, but these men claimed they had SEEN Jesus resurrected while they lived and breathed.

"The bible must be true because other parts of the bible back up the bible so why would the bible lie about the bible. Come on people. Duh! Why would it say they did this and that if it were not true in relation to when it said this and that?"

You have read books haven't you? Most of them follow a linear logic wherein the book will usually be able to be used to back up the same book. That is how stories should be written.

I do find it interesting though how many people here believe they can prove the bible is true by using the bible to prove it. Cute.

Please tell me you are not this dense. You do not know a joke, however unfunny it may be, when you see one?' Either way, it is obvious what I was saying was that if anything I am growing to hate the name or this thread, but not the person you are refering to. No one hates Jesus. You have had enough time to prove it and you have not. There is no Jesus hate going on.

My friend, that was sarcasm, though in its more dry format.

OK, I thought maybe but you know how it is around here. People say some pretty crazy stuff and without that sarcasm emoticon I have been pushing, it can be hard to tell.

And to answer your question, a large concentration of Jesus Haters is in the Orthodox Judaism category. The Israeli government actually looks the other way and disregards the beating, hating, mocking, and destruction of anything Christian related especially Christians themselves
www.rense.com....

Oh and by the way, if your saying Jesus didnt exist, then you can also say neither did satan/lucifer. Is this logic correct?

Yeah, I do not understand why that question has been asked of me 3 times in two days but yes and no. For fun, I will go with no for now.

You do know that the devil was around long before Jesus or the Bible right?

Please do take the time to read them. You will be pleasantly surprised by the lack of hate in this thread. Most people are quick to point out they have no hatred for that name at all.

Do spare us. Jesu never existed, was a composite identity meaning 'the man.'

Ever notice how on x-mas out comes santa? It's an amalgam for Satan, the King of the World, ruling from within the Earth/inner dimension seat of power, the city of Shamballa.

Ever notice how this serpent is codexed with santa (satan) in red & white during the x-mas celebration time? It's the energy symbol of sex (red & white) of the male aspect (human).

Yes, that's right, that's what x-tians worship, the living expression of sex and death, the true king of the world, the amalgam-creating symbolizing satan force(s). This is their jesu, a monster of unending death, murder, rape, torture, hatred, ignorance and relentless greed/control.

And they will kill for this right, to spread the word of hope and love. How ignorant.

Don't believe me? Check out their history, and also the history of religion on Earth. Ignorance. Please don't wake up, you need to suffer for your ignorance. Doing good so far.

If anyone purports to 'hate' Jesus, it's usually done so to signify their distain for orthodox Christianity as a whole. As the literal figurehead of the organisation, it's quite logical that both praise and criticism would be directed at he. Much like say George Bush became a figure of hate because of how the US administration handled it's affairs during his presidency.

I find this reponse quite preposterous, how is this in anyway proof that this man was cruicified DIED then came back. This is nothing but hearsay and proof of nothing.
Given the contradictions in the gospels themselves in relation to this matter, I would be mor inclined to believe the possibility that -

A, A Messiah (one of many) figure by the the name of Jeshua did claim the right to the throne of David, through the lineage of his mother.

B The rest of his followers including his brother James who was given leadership of the sect would have gone into hiding.

C The apostle pauls' intention was to usurp the position of James and create a new religion.

However as there is no evidence for any of this, outside of the bible this is as equally as probably or improbale as jesus being a god.

With many contradictions like these , running right through the bible how on on earth can you even consider baacking up your claim of providing proof.

28) How many women came to the sepulcher? John 20:1 Only one woman went, Mary Magdalene. Matthew 28:1 Mary Magdalene and the "other Mary" (Jesus’ mother) went.

29) Mark 16:2 It was sunrise when the two women went to the sepulcher. John 20:1 It was still dark (before sunrise) when Mary Magdalene went alone to the sepulcher.

30) There were two angels seen by the women at the sepulcher and they were standing up. Luke 24:4 There was only one angel seen and he was sitting down. Mark 28:2-5

31) How many angels were within the sepulcher? John 20:11-12 two, Mark 16:5 one

CRUCI FICTION!!

Jesus is a proven historical figure. The Bible is not the only record of him. He is mentioned in the writings of Josephus, the Jewish historian, who was alive at the time of Jesus and records that when ha cast out demons "his rebuke was fearful". You can find these records of Jesus plus other fascinating additional information about other supernatural happenings amongst the Jews in "The Antiquities of the Jews" by Josephus.

You are wrong! The Bible isn't a single book, its many, brought together under one title.

I am a Christian. I try to live right. I don't believe in abortion and many other things.

I am spiritual and do not go to church on a regular basis because I believe many people give Christians a bad name.

Sad but true our country is declining swiftly.

eh, jesus isn't all that bad, if he even existed outside of legend and fables. Its his followers that many times end up being buttheads. Those are the ones who are mostly hated, along with their dogma and views. Or does the OP take that as hating jesus? or rejecting the concept of christianity in general hating jesus?

In your opinion........which makes you feel superior ?

What ? what the hell ar e you talknig about ? Lets recap -

You claimed that the resusrection was a real event, I asked you to prove it. Your response was that the bible proves it, I respond by pointing out that the bible is riddled with contradiction and errors and as the only so called proof you have is the bible this proves nothing.

I quoted a few contradictions in relation to the crucifiction which you chose not to address. You also make a point of saying I'm wrong when I have not claimed to be right but have offered up possibilities.

You still in no way have proved this alleged resarection, I'm willing to study the evidence, which is apparently as you claim, the bible.

Here once again ar the contradictions, if you can explain them please do if you can't then please say I don't know, simple really.

Mark 28:2-5

People don't hate Jesus, they have problems with the Pharisees - And so did Jesus.

Pharisee n.

1. A member of an ancient Jewish sect that emphasized strict interpretation and observance of the Mosaic law in both its oral and written form.
2. A hypocritically self-righteous person.

I have seen Jesus, and his Father, that is within my "personal experience". I should beable to know the understanding of the timeline, but it feels like it is cloudy, a blurry vision. WW3 will soon come, and with that great horror never has seen in the history of the world will happen to the people of the world. Please, do not take my words as lightly as a joke, but as a warning as things to come. I have seen-been in the time-line of the great event, as it has been a future of mine. It feels like God has taken me back in part of the history. There is no way, no how that nobody can live without feeling the affects of the horror. I do NOT have "full power" as of yet, but in the coming years I wil l have, as God would allow me to have.

So which father of Jesus did you see exactly, his biological father, one of his step fathers or Yahwe ?

If it was Yahwe you saw, who cannot be seen but also can be seen (depending on which verse in the contradicitory bible verses your looking at) what exactly did he loolike ?

Or am I missunderstanding your grammer and you didn't see anything with your eyes, but somehow supernaturally ?
