The only flag you are raising is unwarranted fear.

Thanks for the response anyways

I stand by reason, it was a collective description of the civilian agencies he was discussing throughout his speech. That is a tangible inference.

You are making a lot of references but you aren't saying anything. Get to the point. What are you saying?

To the contrary, I have been very explicit. Perhaps if you remove your rose-colored glasses you might be able to understand better. Let me spell it out for you- Obama blacks can be just as racist as whites or German Hitler youths.
If 97% of whites voted for someone because he/she is white, that would be racism. Both videos show para-military groups of racists.

You really give me more credit than I deserve. A legend in my own mind? Hardly. What I have said here is that his words should be enough to raise red flags. Not that he should be feared. I will say the same to you that I have said to others here...show me one post that I have made which says, "Fear Obama" or "Obama should be feared". Seriously, put up or shut up.

You claim you will not debate with me, yet I am still waiting for you to show up for this debate. You have not even made it to the podium yet, so in my mind there is no debate with you.

It is really sad how people will blindly follow. It is not wrong to question, just follow blindly and everything will be ok. How sad.

I'm leaving for work now...so if I do not reply it is not because I am hiding from any of you or I am afraid to continue to defend my position, it is because I am at work trying to make a living. Have fun flaming me some more while I am gone. I look forward to reading it all when I return.

And going back to gun control for a moment.... Just because it has been discussed on ATS forums, and other threads, does not mean it was a talking point on THIS thread. It was a subject that YOU brought up and when YOU brought it up it was not the topic at hand.

So you are comparing those kids to Nazi Youths?

Good, just wanted to clarify your position so that others who may be more susceptible to mudslinging may see how crazy it really is.

Also, can you tell me who those kids are and why they are doing it? Just wondering. I figure since you've already judged them you must have looked into it and can recite it to me without looking it up.

You call it unwarranted fear and I call it questioning what you are being told. Obviously our opinions on this issue differ greatly. It has been nice talking to you and you have made some great points through out this thread (even though I obviously disagree) and I certainly look forward to more conversations with you in the future.

In my opinion one of the great things about ATS is that there is nothing wrong with having differing opinions and being able to express and debate those opinions in a forum such as this.

Be well my friend.

Thank you I appreciate that
I love me some conspiracy...but only because of the possibility of finding some hidden truth. And finding that truth requires diligence. I can be stubborn at times, but it's usually because I feel people are being lead astray.

I agree with your general outlook on what's on our political horizon
I didn't vote for Obama either. I am not a democrat or a republican. I was happy when Obama defeated McCain though. Either way, I am preparing for some difficult times ahead, and I hope Obama does his part to negate them.

For those of you who don't know, by the way, the people in that video are part of a fraternity.

Alpha Phi Omega.

If you honestly think that a fraternity marching around in army fatigues being hyped up about a president is weird... you have never been to a college campus.

So, please, waste my time some more. Post up another video of nothing and pretend like it's a big deal. I'm sure we all care.

Will the mods help us out a bit here? We can only do so much to stop the intentional spreading of lies on this board.

It's not that I dismiss the possibility of what you are saying. I am just not sure if I see the evidence to warrant the idea, is all. Trust me I am generally skeptic of good intentions when it comes from Government officials. As an Anarchist, 'questioning what I am being told' is a language dear to my heart

All the best,
Lucid

Hey don't forget about us armed americans and also the militia (the REAL militia, not this pseudo private army Obama wants to create) we'll be there figthing the good fight against the corrupt if it ends up coming to violence. I just hope you guys in the military will actually be on our side as well and not on the NWO's side. Food for though.

I just want to point out that so far this thread has encompassed this:

1) Obama said something about a "Civilian National Security Force". What he meant, who he meant, when he meant, where he meant, and why he said it are all undetermined. However, he still might be a Nazi.

2) Some guys from an (all black?) fraternity dressed up in fatigues, marched around, and chanted about how Obama has inspired them. This is also like Hitler, even though Obama had nothing to do with it's organization. Also, I suppose if they aren't out getting drunk at a football game, it is a bit weird.

Did I miss anything else? Are there any other wild/crazy theories that I need to add to this?

I really hope it doesn't come to violence. Deep down I don't think it will. I think someone will somehow make it clear to the President elect how things actually operate, if they didn't already.

In a worst case scenario the military and even the national guard will be on the side who upholds the US constitution, capitalism, and fights the good fight against any totalitarian personality cult that seeks to destroy America.

It'll be good to know then, that people like you will be on our side then
(the people's side and not the dictator's side) hopefully it'll never come to that.

Good evening Question. I'm sure that they will be on our side, and not the side of the corrupt. I have relatives and friends in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and they are sick and tired of reading about left-wingers in this country calling them murderers, and were VERY offended when Obama said that our troops were bombing and killing civilians. In addition, hearing "Rev" Wright saying "God d---America didn't go over very well with them either, nor did the fact that Obama palls around with a terrorist that was bombing American targets. No, I don't think we have to worry about where the military will be, if it comes to that.

I don't know, those fraternity guys in that video you posted as if they were part of some army might put up a good fight.

Yeah he wants renewal, which pretty much all fascist governments claimed to be doing in history too. The rebirth of the great nation appears a fraud. Size theories are the cause of misery, all of it dependent on the size of governments. People that live under small governments have better lives usually. A large government can only lead to large problems and the larger it grows the smaller your life becomes and the more easily done away with goes the value of life.

What makes you say his government would be any bigger than Bush's? Is that even possible considering the deficit Bush racked up?

Clinton was able to gain a surplus while working on similar social projects. Why can't Obama just work the budget responsibly without growing the government any more (or possibly shrinking it in general)?

bush has done his part and now obama will..

these things are planned people. the elections are a fraud. democrats/republicans serve the same boss'.

You know, as I was reading some of these posts, I got to thinking about something, inspired by the one posters Alias: Shai Hulud. This situation we are in atm seems very much like the situation The Baron Harkonnen described in the movie adaption of Dune. That he would send the Beast Rabban to Arakis to 'squeeeeze it'. Till they hated him worse than anything before. Whereupon he would send in his 'savior' in the form of Feyd, and the people would accept anything he told them. The coincidence is uncanny. I wonder if the PTB read Frank Herbert?
