I have to admit - at first I was for McCain/Palin - but over the weeks I've seen a whole new side to the candidates. Obama is very refreshing, but he does represent change... and that scares a lot of people; especially the uneducated masses that haven't been exposed to any other race than "white". I sincerely fear for his life. I read the comment above that references a civil war. Scary - but may be pretty close to the truth. I think if he wins - and is hurt or killed (God forbid) then there will be a very serious (and rightfully so) uprising. If he doesn't win, there will be accusations of a rigged election (rightfully so). Either way...I'm more than a little worried.

I really have no sympathy for Obama or his supporter in the video. You're supporting a politician, a politician running for president. Expect all kinds of hate directed your way. Idiots are embedded in the political process, don't expect to come out unscathed.

'Worried' about Obama? What a stooge. How about you worry about yourself and your family and not get so emotionally involved in figure-heads like McCain or Obama. That goes for the lovers and the haters, keep your logic (and dignity).

I have seen about 5 of these sort of videos where the ignorance of the general voting public was shown. The first one I saw was when Ron Paul was still running, and it showed the ignorance on both sides.

Most of the people interviewed in these videos are probably good people at heart. But because they listen to lies, and don't actively seek out the truth, they end up holding unrealistic views. Sometimes these views are ignorant, some of them are fueled by hatred. But I think it wrong to stick your nose up at these people. Rather, try and help your community become more socially aware of their surroundings and motivate them to study things on their own.

As for me, I think this election is bunk, just like any other election we've ever had. Once Kennedy showed that he wasn't a game player, he was offed. Especially today, you can be guaranteed that the candidates have been bought and paid for.

Seems like this explains McCain and Obama supporting the Bailout Bill, or at least this must have seriously influenced their choice. =/ Expect to see bigger government and less civil liberties in the next 4-8 years.

Anymore I don't think people are taxed base off their income, but instead their effort. If you strive to gain an education, take out student loans, or just work hard for your entire life to end up in a situation were you can afford a few luxuries someone judges you for it, or people are envious of your success.

I actually am a single male, and I earn near 100k a year (salary), and I haven't seen a raise in around 5 years. I won't see a tax cut from either of these candidates, and I'll likely see my taxes go higher with Obama. Democrats are never concerned about the single person, just families.

Earning near 100k a year isn't reaching the American dream. I'm not rich, and I definitely don't deserve a pay decrease. I work at least 55 hours a week with my Salary job, and the thought of that outcome is extremely annoying.

There will always be racist people in every country. There are racist people in every race, and ethic group. Finding a few racist country people to say ignorant things on TV isn't new, and isn't surprising. Jerry Springer made millions off of these simple minded people. Wright is an incredibly racist individual who leads a church. Wright is not the only racist individual to run a church, or to lead a church from a liberation theology background (Liberation Theology was developed in South America, and has its roots in Marxism).

I have no idea if Obama supported Wrights comments while in his church, Obama's books do suggest he believes several tenants of Liberation theology, and "Economic Justice." These principles do worry me.

I do believe our country is moving towards socialism. However, the middle class in most socialist countries lives at the standard of the working poor in our country. Unfortunately socialism doesn't breed a higher standard of living, but it does breed a more content society. Content Societies do not achieve great things. Unfortunately, most great things are created by imperialistic or capitalistic societies, mainly because these societies utilize their tax revenue for militaristic, and inventive purposes, instead of standard of living for the poor.

My last rant runs along Darwinism. The Democrats love to push evoluationism as a fact, but they don't like to allow it to play out mankind. I submit that our country has only become as successful as it has because of Darwinism, otherwise known as survival of the fittest. Democrats, and Republicans love to say Immigrants are taking our jobs, but that goes back to survival of the fittest. If a Immigrant can come to this country without any formal education, without even speaking english, with tore up clothes, no place to stay, and can take your job.

Then your not worth the shirt on your back.

Oh, and by the way Socialism protects them as well, so if you think voting for socialistic measures will help you keep jobs in America for Americans, then your wrong. Because Socialists believe in an open border society. Socialism actually destroys the middle class by creating an under class, a class of people totally dependent on the government.

I know everyone here totally trusts the government, so lets vote for them to have more power, considering that is all their looking for in the first place. Electing Obama will be just as bad as electing Bush again, but for totally seperate reasons. Unfortunately, they can both agree that they love to grow government, and its power over us the citizens.

I won't be voting for Obama, not because he's black, or because he's a democrat, not because he has is own TV channel on Dish Network, but because he has to many ties with individuals with communistic values. Obama is a straight up socialist, but liberals like to call them "Progressives." I don't believe there is any progress to be had with socialism, so I think you know were I'll be voting.

They like to say the weather underground only bombed governmental buildings, but that is actually false as well. The Weather Underground actually killed a security guard, and a policeman while robbing a bank. William Ayers wife went to prison because she refused to testify on her knowledge of the incident. I wonder who she was protecting then.

They also bombed a judges home, while his family was sleeping. His 9 year old son and family survived that bombing, but easily could have been killed. Here is an interview with the man who was the 9 year old boy back then.

This is some excellent advice, and I really try to follow it daily. But watching that debate yesterday made me feel so negative for some reason, and the flow from my lips was less than sweet. I don't know why I let these two get me so worked up; I doubt either one would do the same for me. I grew up with people JUST like this, my ex husband has proclaimed he himself (a vet) won't vote for a black man. My town had less than a thousand people. This is sadly, exactly how rural America looks.

But to the non Americans, don't assume we are all like this, these bigots are not the majority. The scary thing is, it only takes one of them to incite chaos.

Pretty sad. These people are lost and stuck in the matrix. It's one thing to support McCain/Palin, but the sheer stupidity of Obama being a terrorist is crazy. George Bush Jr. is a terrorist.
