Over this last year I have really discovered the racism and racial tensions in the USA for the very first time and I have been absolutely astonished by it

America, the most powerful, forward looking nation on the planet and it can be so backward in so many ways. There is no other first World nation (outside of South Africa) that still, on the 21st century, struggles with such abhorrent racism! It really does beggar belief! Especially for a Brit, like myself. Britain has never suffered from racism in the same way, I do not deny we have our fair shar or idiots (we also seem to have your share too) but the UK is not a racist country, never has been and hopefully never will (I say that because I have seen general racism creeping in, anti-west Asian, since 911 and I actually put that down to American influence. I am willing to debate that if anyone would like to pull me up on it). Our problem, pathetically, is still class. That is as ridiculous, if not more so than the US's problems with race.

How can a country, based on immigration, be so mistrusting of anyone of a different ethnicity? Is it that complicated, or is it strictly that white America is scared of people of African ancestry? That is even more bizarre!

Obama becoming president (which in a perfect World wouldn't even be a question. Let the World vote in your place and Obama will win by a landslide!) will make America a fascinating country to view for the next four years.

I know how great you people can be, I just hope your pillocks don't give the lot of you a bad name. As I always say, the reason Americans are so disliked is because, although we all have our idiots, your idiots seem to shout the loudest!

[Fake Edit] Seeing the comments posted on YouTube in response to a video that features a black person is truly shocking and always so predictable. These abhorrent comments are posted, 99% of the time, by Americans. Very sad.

I always like it when somebody says something that I totally agree with. That's why I'm completely non-partisan. All this left vs. right is killing us as a nation, and has been for a very long time and i get the feeling that it only gets worse over time.

Whatever happened to just loving each other?

People didn't like that message. They executed or imprisoned the messengers:

One guy was nailed to a cross.

Another was assasinated at the Ford theater.

One guy was shot four times in the back outside The Dakota.

Another man was shot on the Lorraine Motel balcony.

This man was shot on the grounds of the Birla Bhavan.

Yet another was shot in a car at Dealy Plaza.

Another man spent 27 years in prison for fighting a doctrine of hate in Africa.

Is it any wonder there isn't any peace?

Ladies and Gentlemen of this thread please remind yourself that whomever is elected to the highest office in the United States of America has no control. The holder of office is a mere puppet of the NWO, they know this and I wager that they know the outcome before it happens. I do not support either but Mr. Obama is your winner in November yet mark my words he will never be sworn in. This to, has already been decieded.

"The door is open but the ride it ain't free"

God speed

Regarding your signature, what "freedoms" exactly, so you think your troops are fighting for, for you?

A couple of points. For one, it is good to see that our message is getting through to the rural areas, yes very refreshing!
And scond, this kid/reporter is working for an outfit that is a known terrorist supporter and he needs to be paid a visit.
I think we can take care of that in short order. We have his name.

Also regarding that signature...

I don't believe "the troops" gave me ANY rights, ever.
In fact it could be argued "the troops" indirectly have assisted in the systematic loss of liberty in the USA.

NOBODY gave me rights.

The Government of the USA recognizes that I have certain rights, but they did not give me those rights.

With that said, God bless the soldiers ....and damn those who abuse them.

Give me a camera and a bag of crack and I will find you some Obama supporters that are way dumber than these people.

it pisses me off to see that racism is still an issue..after years and years one would assume people of multifarious color can learn to live amongst each other...i guess this isnt the case .....

Been on both sides of this one:

1. My father-in-law, die hard Bushie, with an Engineering degree from USC uses the same language to describe Obama.

2. My wife's best friend, die hard Obama fan, with a high school diploma uses the same language to describe McCain.

Neither will discuss issues with me. Both have cried, "B***S***" with the same vehemence when I've tried to approach any topic logically.

The fun starts because my wife and I are both independents and aren't voting for either, so both sides think we're ignorant!

McCain has created a monster...

When I started reading this I thought, "Hey, he stole that from the Daily Show!" Glad to see you referenced and provided a link to it.

And I agree, Jon portrayed it perfectly!

Actually, he said that if there was going to be a negro president, that he would HAVE TO be a "first-string" negro, and OBAMA is a second-string negro. So sad.

My father was a con-man who spent much of his life in prison. I learned a valuable lesson in life being my fathers son, and it was not to follow in his footsteps. The board he sat on with Aires was a philanthropic board, one in which that was created by RONALD REAGAN'S top advisor. There were dems and rebubs on the board, and the only reason it is a big deal now, is because the gop is afraid.

Understand the whole picture. Um... Did Donald Rumfield not shale hands with Saddam Hussain in pics? If Rumsfield was running for president, the dems would flash that picture every five minutes. Don't let them disreagdr your intelligence, find truth on your own.

I know that those statements were bad but the news reporter did say he was from Al Jazeera so you have to believe that they walked through the crowd and found the three people there who had something really awful to say. You can't paint the whole crowd as being ignorant. I could find some ignorant Obama supporters if I looked hard enough. I can't believe that you guys would be fawning over a news report from Al Jazeera. That has to be the most biased news agency against America. I am tired of this bashing by both sides. Neither one of these candidates are going to be good for America.

Not only did Barack Obama savor Wrights sermons,

Untrue conjecture. This is ignorant to assume you understand the inner workings of another persons mind.

Obama gave legitimacy — and a whole lot of money — to education programs built around the same extremist anti-American ideology preached by Reverend Wright.

Another untrue assertion. Um, it is responsible to prove your claims, you know? You are spitting garbage.

All this is revealed by a bit of digging,

Biased digging? And you also have to have the ability to see what is not there, as this poster has done.

combined with a careful study of documents from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, the education foundation Obama and Ayers jointly led in the late 1990s.. through ACORN

Did you know it was a board that was created by Ronald Reagan advisor? A board in which democrats and republicans were on it, along with presidents of prestegious universities?

You really don't get it.

Last I checked it was perfectly within peoples rights to not vote for Obama because of his name, because he's black, because he likes to eat a certain dish or just because you don't feel for him.

... oh wait I forgot..

It's only right if it matches a certain preset ideologies..

ANY WAYS ..

Point of this thread is?

That White Rural voters won't be running to the polls to vote for a black guy?

If you thought they would, there is ignorance for you.

Why do you continue to mix apples and oranges, and then refused to address the topic of this thread. There has been dirt on every candidate back to the first election. You remember Bill Clinton and his organizers and shady people all mysteriously died up to his election? It's all smear. Swift boat anyone?

Where is the Republic that is going door to door in the ghettos asking blacks if they are going to vote for the rich white man, or the black man (leaving out him being rich of course) ?

Bet they all put their head on their fist and think real hard on that one before giving an answer......

The hypocrisy within this thread is mind boggling. To make such statements about how stupid and ignorant these people is in itself ignorant. Now, I am all for engaging in a good debate, but when u resort to name calling in an attempt to somehow make other perceive you as some sort of intellect, well, you look foolish.
