I would encourage you all to watch this video to see how Obama supporters treat McCain supporters. Now, I'm not saying that the people interviewed in the OP video are right, I'm just saying to view both sides of the campaign before you jump to any conclusions.

Well, the content of the video in the OP is immediately called into question by the fact that al-Jazeera produced the thing. But one thing of which there is no question about: al-Jazeera obviously supports Obama.

I'm not saying thats good or bad. Probably this has been pointed out already in this thread, but I think its one point that can't be made too many times.

Ignorance? You mean the same ignorance which Al-Jazeera propagates on a daily basis in giving air time to Terrorists? Half of these people said nothing wrong, and I am sure others who put forth logical arguments against Senator Obama were edited out just for convenience sake.

How can you even be an American and report for Al-Jazeera? What a sell-out (Casey Kauffman), he just exploited his own Nation in giving credence to the hate-filled speeches put forth in Wahhabi Madrassas the World Over. Whether it was done intentionally or not, who knows.

'Ignorance in America' can be summed up into four words: The Fox News Channel.

Here's the irony....the OWNER of the Fox 'News' isn't even an American!!!! How many 'loyal' Fox Newsies even know this simple fact???

I, for one, LOVE Australia....I have been to Sydney, to Melbourne, to Cairns.....and if the GOP (That's code for the 'Grand Old Party'...the Republicans) manage to steal THIS election, as they have twice before, I might just pack up and leave the USA....Canada is close, but Mexico is cheaper (and I'm learning Spanish).

But, seriously.....Australia, although far away, is my first pick, if they'll have me.

Wake up, people...say NO to both parties. Be independent.

I typically associate myself with one Party over another, simply because it aligns more with my personal Philosophies. However, I completely agree with your point of being Independent, in so far as I myself vote for whomever I believe is the best candidate for whichever job they are running for, REGARDLESS of Party. Too often I witness individuals simply voting for a Candidate based upon Party or Name Recognition, without even listening to a SINGLE word of which they have spoken.

This is what gets to me in regards to Senator Obama, as I feel so many are voting for him based upon the simple fact that they are tired of Eight Years of Republican Executive Control. However, in doing so, they rarely dissect his stances and what he says. Senator McCain was definitely not my first choice during the Primaries, but I much prefer him to a Socialist wishing to turn the United States of America into the European Union.

Wait I thought such sentiments of bigotry were a thing of the past?

No, no, it not only exists today, politicians trying to get just a little more power pander to those sharing such archaic sentiments and skewed perspectives.

Some seem to believer that where you live seems to make you more American than another, but in truth we are all Americans. Not one hardworking man or woman that toils away in this slaver-driven economy is any more or less in the same boat. What will Obama or McCain bring to help these people as their way of life inevitably crumbles around them? Will it be nothing more than the little it takes to get them back in office?

Of course our politicians, our leaders, they don't want us to think we are just one single group to them. They want us looking at each other as aliens based even on simple political affiliation. They want us watching the right-hand while the left hand is in our pockets.

I would say interacting with various and diverse groups is not a radical concept and certainly not as complicated as some make it out to be, but you know for some people it's...well I just think that the "Old Man" summed it up best in that Millennium episode entitled "Beware of the Dog":

It's over their damn heads, Frank. Their fear shrinks the world to the size of nothing but their own lives. It blinds them to anything beyond their own houses.

I am glad I don't have to live like that.
