Aug. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Georgia accused Russia of sending troops beyond the South Ossetia conflict zone in violation of a cease-fire. A Russian official denied the claim, saying the troops are eliminating Georgia's ability to renew attacks.

Georgian Security Council chief Kakha Lomaia said a column of Russian troops may be moving from the city of Gori toward the Uplistsikhe military base, which Georgian forces abandoned earlier in the conflict. The Russians are advancing ``well beyond the conflict zone,'' he said today.

Russian government spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian troops near South Ossetia are ``demilitarizing'' the area to prevent Georgia from attacking again. Russian forces seized Georgian tanks at a military facility outside Gori and are moving them to another location, he said.

We are not fighting! we are just "eliminating Georgia's ability to renew attacks".

Regarding the Russians blocking the road from Gori to S. Ossetia - of course they are blocking it. That road goes straight into Tskhinvalli. What did you expect?

Now where exactly are they blocking it? Any facts where Russian armor actually is at this point (and I don't mean rumors)?



And we hear from the West that the Russians broke the ceasefire with todays supposed actions. But why is there no word on CNN or SKY news that Georgians continued shelling outskirts of Tskhinvalli yesterday? The explosions were on the Russian news by journalists in the area. I am not saying that it was proved to be Georgians - but what if Georgia never abided by the cease-fire, and that is why Russia is continuing its strikes?

Do you think that those are a huge invasion sized column of tanks headed towards Gori from South Ossetia, that due to its size is blocking the road?

For those wondering about the time of Bush's statement, it's scheduled to begin in roughly fifteen minutes. (1515 GMT - it's presently 1459, going on 1500). Here's a useful time conversion website with the times shown in real-time. www.csgnetwork.com...

EDIT: Others are saying 1600 GMT, in which case it would be in a about an hour. I read 1515 online, though.

Confiscating tanks is drastically different from a tank battle

There is no widespread fighting in Georgia today, it seems.

It is Israeli and American mercenaries and advisors who are in place to violate ceasefires and keep the conflict from ending.

They shot down the Russian jets and used their advanced forward artillery to kill those peacekeepers.

The Neocons want WW3 and this is all just a part of their plan to start it.
