I read your original post and your meaning was clear to me, and I agree with you 100%. Moderators sometimes don't understand dry sarcasm but they do their best under the circumstances I'm sure. Don't stop posting just because of one misunderstanding.

The BBC is a government controlled Apparatus, Sky News is controlled by a Globalist who has similiar interests with the current UK administration.

The same applies to Fox and CNN.

No, it's a one line snap from a newswire.

Seriusly though.. What would be the point of faking this?

Its not like the truth will not come out one way or the other.. And no matter what the Georgian leader claims etc no one is going to go to his aid.. Certainly not the US .. We just do not have the Capability or the will to go up against russia atm.

Faking this with so many different news agencies Not only Just the Sky and Fox.. Just doesn't make sense..

Now..... If there was miscomunication maybe.. But it seems the situation is becoming pretty clear.

I don't know if they are cowards or not, but the way Gori was abandoned before, with Georgian troops hitching rides in civilian vehicles, it looks at least that they are completely disorganised, so I wouldn't be surprised by a Ossetian or Abkhasian invasion of Georgian towns.

FRANCE 24 reporters saw a Russian armoured column move into position on a hill above the Georgian city of Gori and install mortars. Georgia earlier accused Russia of moving troops inside Georgia despite a ceasefire deal.

It would appear - appear - that Medvedev and Putin have outright lied to the international community.

So, I'll just throw this out there: Are Russia doing the unthinkable?

YES all the info ATM points to a attack/seige of Tbilisi, to take out the war criminal Saakavilli. Remember the soldier said to the reporters in Gori..."we are coming for you Saakasvilli" something to that effect! They have already received their orders.

TBILISI, Aug 13 (Reuters) - The United States said on Wednesday it had received what it termed credible reports of continued violence in the South Ossetia region and urged Russia to restrain "irregular forces" from attacking civilians.

"We have credible reports of villages being burned, shootings and killings," the U.S. envoy to the region, Matthew Bryza, told a news briefing in the Georgian capital Tbilisi.

He urged Russia "to make sure their forces are doing nothing in terms of violence and to make sure they are doing everything possible to restrain irregular forces, South Ossetian or otherwise from violence against the peaceful population."

No word yet on an American reaction to allegations of Russian forces being in Gori.

Here's an unorthodox thought: might the militia be attacking, and Russian forces be entering Gori ostensibly to reestablish order and stop the militia?

Can anyone get a screen capture of the footage they're saying is Russian troops / tanks? I'm interested in the claim that they're Abkhazian / Ossetian..

The footage showing Abkhazian forces was looping on the front page of Sky News. It was more or less just a general clip, meant to represent the entire conflict. It didn't seem to be depicting it as one thing or another. That said, it's still incredibly irresponsible in my opinion to have that on the front of a story talking about Russian tanks entering a Georgian city.

Russian tanks "heading toward Tbilisi" (no source cited)

A column of Russian tanks has been seen heading from the Georgian city of Gori towards the capital, Tbilisi, amid reports killing and looting is taking place.

Sky News article reporting this, but without a cited source unfortunately at this time - presumably the reporters they had on the ground reporting them entering Gori in the first place?

Its breaking on foxnews as well...watching it live on TV. You can also see the headline on foxnews.com. Russian convoy moving into Gori and they presume headed towards the capital.
