That video feed, as the one from TVUPlayer, is just a repeating of the news headlines from some time ago.

I don't know if the Sky News I have on cable is the same one, I do not have the TV in the same place as the computer, so I can not say for sure.

I will see what they show on TV when they start a new news block at 13:00.

The actual commander of the army at this moment is Putin. He is in North Ossetia. Medvedev is just puppet.

I am happy to declare that I am warned ....my post removed ....Any person with minimum intellegence can understand that my post wasnt meant for any business purpose ...but was a simple joke that reveals the NAKED TRUTH about western media ...

For readers who havent read it I ll present an edited version of my post ......I prepared it beforehand ...because I knew that people out here wont let me reveal the Naked truth of Western Media (this is the western version of freedom of speech)

I proposed of opening a New NEWS CHANNEL .....that will be aired with an interview of the Georgian President Mikhail Sakasvili
.... I explained how easy it is to get an interview of the Georgian President ....considering the fact during the period of war he had time to give 4 interviews to BBC , 4 to CNN , 7 to Eastern European Channels and lots more ...
At present he is busy giving interviews to any journalist save Russians....I havenT SEEN A SINGLE PRESIDENT(BE IT FROM AFRICA ) IN MY LIFE who has so much time for the journalists.

I also explained how easy it is to defame Russia infront of ignorant western viewers ...and how easy it is to get government support for the same. and how easy it is to quote such a cheap news in ATS .

But since ignorance is cultivated here you never have the chance to DENY IGNORANCE

It's not just Sky and Fox making these claims... go to google news... there are many news sites running with it.

Why are you replying to me with that? All I stated was that the feed he was watching is a pre-recorded feed...

I have to say, I did suspect that it was just the end of the beginning - not the beginning of the end.

I think we're witnessing something that will be talked about for a very long time to come.

Its not only Sky and Fox, BBC is reporting too

In Gori, the Russian tanks seem to be dismantling and destroying Georgian army bases there, our correspondent says.

It's the middle ground i'm looking for, we've heard lots from the western media this morning but from the Georgians themselves i havent heard that much, i'm actually suprised i didn't see a Georgian response if the claims about Gori are true.

If it is, i doubt the ceasefire still exists as of now.

Yeah, like how the Western Media in collusion with the governments Tricked the People into thinking that Russia Attacked Georgia.

And how the uneducated populace received the majority of their news from known gov't controlled sources and still believed it anyways.

Then they went out and spread the propaganda themselves, never taking time to pause the video and recognize that the Russian shown where actually wearing Georgian Insignias and using Georgian Tanks.

The information you get from the Western media is more or less 95% information spread directly from Georgian officials.

It would appear that the Gori region is littered with abandonded Saakashvili military purchases and that the Ossetians and Yamadaev's Chechens are collecting it

Well what the hell the Georgian army is doing? They are cowards if Gori is in fact invaded, which I doubt. It wouldn't be the first time that Fox News UK creates video/edit it/show old footage... to prove their claims.

And the only others source for that is the Georgian government, which have been lying for most of the war. They clearly want to extend the conflict... they didn't have what they wanted... a russian storm on the capital so they can set the government abroad and/or involve NATO.

I can't speak for others, but I don't doubt you. I just doubt the clarity of what might have been said on the air in the heat of the moment. However, my doubt is waning, sadly. (Though I would like to see some concrete footage of the tanks and of the witness reports.)

Meanwhile, separate from yet related to the conflict in the north, in the west we have:

The Abkhazian rebel forces took advantage of the defeat of Tbilisi's troops in South Ossetia, another separatist area where the Russian army drove back the Georgians at the weekend, to capture the Kodori gorge on Tuesday.

"Abkhazia has been completely liberated, there are now no Georgian troops on our territory. Abkhazia has reinstated its territorial sovereignty, we are just happy we have peace," Alexander Melnik, the unrecognised state's defence minister, told Reuters.

And this is sure to be inflammatory (whether one agrees with the words or not) rhetoric from the UK:

UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband has warned Russia against hankering after a Soviet past in its border disputes.

He told the BBC Russia had been trying to assert the concept of "ex-Soviet space", which was "not acceptable".

Russia had adopted a 19th Century approach and "blatant aggression" in Georgia, when it should be asserting itself economically, he said.

Just imagine what if the irregulars enter Tbilisi along with the Russian army. They will finish their ammo killing EVERYONE. They will make a river of blood including including the blood of Saakashvilli!!!
