UFO Crash in Las Vegas 1st of August 2008

Downed test craft aren't really goosebump material, unless you see it of course. We all know and acknowledge that these tests occur so we are indifferent to the news, but I think the interesting thing is the technology that these craft use, and more importantly, where it came from.

On the other note, what is the standard nomenclature for an extraterrestrial craft, as UFO is too generic. and extraterestrial craft is too damn long to type.

A- It is a United States Secret Craft which they didn't want any one to find out about. They must have been testing it for years and must just be barley trying to get their own craft to fly. Which it failed greatly. or B- It is Alien and the government has found a way to track them if they get close enough to earth and have time to retreve it with in a sertant amount of time. Like with in mins, they would have had to taken the craft to Area 51 because it is close to the site.

I have a couple of questions, it stated they where black helicopters, i thought black helicopters where unmarked and unidentifiable? but in the report it said that the sky crane was listed as being used for military use in Europe, and he then asked if that is true why is it there?

Could that be a kind of clue do ya think?

Well that is exactly what it is, An unidentified flying/ falling object. We have no idea what it was and we will never know for sure. And the response time to me does not prove it either way. Does not surprise me one bit that the military would respond so quickly. They are well prepared for any encounter they come across.

The real question now is, Where is bob? Is he real or just a made up character. The focus should be about him now and not the object. We already know we wont get answers to what it was. Is bob's house boat gone to? or just him. Did he get out of there in fear of what he saw may land him in some government lock up. Or is he already being detained? Does he have credit cards or checks? Are they being used? A private investigator should be hired to answer these and many other questions. I am poor and cant afford to do it. If anyone with money to spare and the interest of this case wants to know more, They should have it investigated.

Extra terestrial flying object does not relate to Alien Space craft. Extra terestrial flying object relates to any object that is not from earth that flies, such as a commet or a meteor. In that case alien as well just means not from here not necesarily a creature. UFO just means unidentified no matter where it originates from earth or outside earth and can not be used for just earth objects. It means the source is unkown. Please don't try to invent new methods of identification until you have thought it through.

As to this event as well as other recovered crashes, they are mostly top secret projects that they don't want in the general public due to the media not able to keep quite and the media would definately blab to the entire world our secret projects. Those that are recovered that aren't secret projects are other things such as satelites, these are recovered int the same way in order t maintain consistency.

No alien being cover up here, just the military trying to keeps it's projects under wraps.

OK, vital piece of the puzzle here - The sightings were very close to the Battelle Memorial Institute, an R&D company employed in Project Grudge, Grudge II and Blue Book to discredit the UFO phenomenon.

It is my understanding that they are adept at reverse engineering technologies, if you catch my drift.

I wouldn't necessarily say 'adept' at reverse engineering but it has been attempted and at least 'partial' success has supposedly been achieved. (I am of the belief that at least partial success has been achieved) As I understand it there were/are 'problems' with the process of reverse engineering, or at least there were at first. Don't know about more recently but early on problems actually understanding the technology was an issue.

I looked on lasvegasnow.com for more material on the needles incident. I found the original news story, but no follow up stories. I than checked george knapps area51.eyewitnessnews8.com/stories.html and nothing there. Than it seems.........

Linda moulton howe has more story on the incident than anyone. But than looking at her writing I see she starts off with the man of the hour, houseboat bob, aka riverboat bob, bob, and finally as she writes him up as, R B. But, she tells us R B lives on the colorado river as a long time houseboat resident. Than she has a trailing sentence right after R Bs remarks saying, Ted thought perhaps he was watching a plane about to crash.

After a paragraph break linda writes, Ted did not know there was another eyewitness - Frank Costigan, retired former Superintendent of Operations and Police Chief at Los Angeles International Airport. Now, just who is ted, our man of the hour who wishes to remain anonymous, because as he says, he’s afraid the U. S. government hurts people who report UFOs. He did not even want his voice recorded. R. B. has lived in a houseboat on the Colorado River for thirty some years. Great, we have another clue.

So much for anonymity bob aka riverboat bob, houseboat bob, R B and now ted. We know where to get you. see, you can''t get away on a houseboat lived in for 30 years on the colorado down there in topock arizona unless you make it over to lake havasu, and even than we have enough to track you down. So if we know, the men in black certainly know and your now conveniently missing.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, right bob, ted, R B, riverboat bob, houseboat bob, the man this stories credibility rest on, friends of that freaky alien looking dude frank costigan and radio star david hayes.

It is curious that Mr. Bob, houseboat and all, are nowhere to be found. Pay attention. Perhaps this is a means to throw those who TALK off the trail of something of authentic importance? They do this crap in the national media all the time. Such as Michael Jackson is a so and so, everybody look at HIM... instead of looking at other more important things that are occurring while your looking the other way. This is just an analogy and NOT anything against Mr. Jackson...

Sounds like Bob may have said something that he was TOLD to say??? As far as mention of the Janet Flights going out? If that did occur than it could be personnel who are privy to certain projects who may be needed to do research on this thing. Simple procedure.... but not necessarily indicative of anything otherworldly. Could also just be people going to work! My husband worked at the test site long time ago (before I knew him) and he had to GO IN AN INSTANT on a couple of occasions. There's a parking lot at the middle of the Northern portion of Pahrump where all of the people park who work at the test site. They are 'bussed' to work on the windowless all white buses. It's a normal everyday occurrence.

I suspect KTOX has something to do with all this. How better to bump listener volume than to run a story everyone can relate in some way with.

I think knapp stopped getting his name involved as soon as he seen the gimick. Linda should be down there snapping pics or hire out a local to do the leg work and if evidence warrants further pursuit of a evidential story, follow up with details.

Seems only linda is following the trail. I like linda and have nothing against her work. I hope she diggs this one out of the woodwork and tells it for what it is.

Maybe KTOX wants to be the next high desert weirdness late night station.

unfortunately Linda Howe usually just reports things that other people have already reported and often time calls it her own. I'm not to crazy about her or her work, therefore. But everyone has their own opinions and they are ALL valid. Maybe she HAS begun to do some of her OWN research? That would be a FIRST from what I've been able to discern thus far.

But take note that up until now she has only reported what the news has already reported. Why no photos? Maybe it's because NOBODY ELSE has taken any and displayed them anywhere for her to get a hold of them!

It is a positive for her, however, that she DOES seem to find just about ALL of the information that is out there for a subject and than compile it all in one place. That's at least SOMETHING of value. But it is a bit tainted since, as I've stated above, she oftentimes claims the information as HER own research when all she's done is take what other people have already 'researched' and compiled it together.

Reading linda's reporting bob's experience, I found the following chatter " Oh, yes, but a turquoise-blue fire with some green in it. And it hit the ground and bounced. But there were many other pieces – there were at least nine other pieces that bounced up in a circle around the turquoise blue-green object ", rather reminisent of this crash video from white sands new mexico 1997.

Most news service report from a single source or many. Depends on how many leads they have for the news of the day. Than, if there is an affiliate to follow the story, more news is broadcast to viewers. Linda operates the same as others who write editorials and news. Because her agency is listed in Albuquerque, NM, she must rely on other sources for the story when news breaks around the country, than follow up with her own point of contact. She can't be there or everywhere for the exclusive since traveling would kill ya if thats how news must be reported.

Listen to fox news network and you will see/hear the same news reporting as if it's there own story. They say, this just in. So, this just in, from whom, they don't say unless a fox affiliate.

I do think she or some one should get into topock for video and stills with a stop in needles.

I'm a skeptic, being from Las Vegas myself, and also the I-Team do stories all the time about possible ufos. I just got back from California on the first too, so this did catch my attention. More than likely it is a fighter from Nelis Air Force base out here. And I also work by the airport too, So I get to see a lot of military craft land at McCarren Airport, mostly fighters though. And not too long ago a pilot crashed and was killed near Nelis. I'll have to look more into this story.

I agree with you, Peepers. Someone should get something (photographic) from those areas and Linda Howe is as good as anybody to do it. Not that there's anything there of any real value now. Your also right about typical news reporting and how it's actually done.

I have a couple of things with LH that just really irk me from her past reporting: one time she put words in an individual's mouth that almost got him fired from his job and another time she had her name on a document without having the name of the actual author on it. But this is OFF topic so I won't go into it further. But also this is from the PAST and things do change so.....

I would just like to make one comment.

NASA is not a civilian agency, it's run by the DOD.

I feel as Richard Hoagland does that we've been lied to for over 50 years.

I am NOT accusing everyone at NASA, because there are a lot of people who work there that do research work that involves a lot of mundane task. I am talking about a handful of people that control the information that's not released to the public.

I think most of us were aware that water existed on Mars for quite a while now.

Gee, Ice Cap through several pictures over the past 30 years... you think that could be water? DUH!

What next? Could there be Algae or other living organisms?

Lets wait another decade to find out.

As for me, I don't need to wait for NASA to be the authority to confirm about life possibly existing on Mars.

There is life on Mars.

Come back to this thread 10 years for now so I can say told you so.


When people start to figure things out, NASA will "DUMB IT DOWN."
