UFO Crash in Las Vegas 1st of August 2008

Guys, I'd like to just get a clear answer as to how logical the claims of the article are.

I found this article today, cut and pasted several places as if it was original to any of them.

I have to wonder at the pathetic logic trotted out in the second sentence.



It is not a metrorite......

especially since.......



a bunch of helicopters towed it off.



Perhaps I am too intelligent to understand the absolute exclusion that helicopters deliver to the identity of unknown objects.



Please explain in intelligent terms how the cause and effect relationship excludes meteorites or excludes ANY identity for the object based on this single piece of evidence, to whit, the presence of one or more helicopters.

I think ARV is Alien Replica Vehicle if it was created by us as reverse engineered from a crashed UFO.

Okay, military conducts an excersize, secrecy is maintained. Alien ufo crashed, secrecy is maintained. So you don't want to know. I myself do think that experimental aircraft is our business. It is your country after all. If other countries are going to make a bomb they are just going to. It's our job to make sure they don't drop it on us (or else we'll turn it to glass). People can be ignorant, and yes I have seen a lot of blown out stories (not to mention the tea lights AGAIN people). I myself would rather like to know if I were going to be food for aliens or whatever other truth be know. For the record, if the the government was to actually track a UFO don't you think the recovery in fact would be something like such. It was rather quick and nobody saw a whole lot. The idea is to take what you got and make the most probable conclusion. Everything is in theory until you can prove it. Much of what we live by is based on theory at some point. Relativity. So what if we don't know what it was, what would the evidence we DO have suggest it is. Think more clearly. The Battelle Memorial Institute is a private not-profited applied science and technology development company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE? Supposedly this is where the Roswell debris was sent. Any ideas? I think people like Linda Howe are a little too ambitious for their own good. Just an opinion, but we need someone to take a serious impartial standpoint on this type of investigation. Ideas?

Actually I am suprised this thread is still going on. A, there was no alien crash, was just a secret military test flight gone wrong.

The reason the military keeps these things secret is so information is not leaked to other contries, in order to help us maintain our supreme status in aircraft technology. Think what would have happend if the blackbird or other secret aircraft had been leaked long ahead of time, we would be struggling to keep up with other nations. If they let the public know the secret projects, the media knows and then the whole world knows. We as Americans can't keep our mouths shut when it comes to secrets. Sorry people but it is the truth.

I wish people would stop using UFO as if it meant UFO = Alien space craft, it does not, it simply means unidentified until further study unless the further study can't make out the object, then it remains unidentified.

Is there a conspiracy, well it depends on your point of view what a connspiracy is. If you believe that the government trying to keep a secret project secret, then this would fit your definition of a conspiracy. this in my book does not mean a conspiracy just the government doing what we pay our taxes for, ensuring we have the top technology when it comes to defending our country even if that means keeping it secret.

These things must be using very unsure technology.

That must be the biggest reason for non disclosure.

Forget about any Helium powered turbine and Tesla high voltage
equipment, if thats what's inside... not saying it is mind you.

All there is to this is...........a severely unsubstantianted story from Knapp, parroted by Linda Howe, two months after it purportedly happened, with no eyewitness testimony from any of the reported witnesses (all of whom are connected in one way or the other with the local podunk radio station), who can't be located or identified, with a timeline of events which stretches operational realities.

In short........nothing.


Even though this reportedly happened on accessible property right on the river.......no pics or analysis of the area nor any remarks from the landowner. No "houseboat Bob" nor any other involved have surfaced. The flight of choppers to the supposed site can't be confirmed or proven. The witness's description of said flight is innacurate and vague.



So, until there's a whole lot more to this story..........it's nothing.

Do any one have any new info in this regards ,or more tv reports ?? i search the net but dnt find any thing and more strange is no other tv channel report it too !!

You should check out the recent thread on " Has something changed - timeline?" or something like that. Sorry I don't know how to link the thread onto this post (fairly new here in terms of posting) . But that thread is at least 40 pages long with people experiencing strange phenomena regards TIME/S deja-vu's, events etc. You might find it interesting !

Pardon for my english, but can't it just be a commercial lie? I mean, UFO stories sells good, just like ghoststories. If I would have a store somewhere in the middle of nowhere and hardly customers, I would know what to do

And why are almost all the ufo stories comming from America while America covers only a relatively small part of the world?

Something secret happened.

It is not a big mass media announced scientific find.
And we know how much the media wants to share scientific wonders.

No miracle rock from the sky millions of years old that might hold
the secret of life.

Might as well build a god statue and ask it for the secret of life.

But we do know what happened is a secret.

Speaking of this UFO crash... Did anyone hear a of a UFO crash in New York somewhere about a week ago? I told my girlfriend about this Las Vegas crashed and she told me about another crash last week. Her freind called her and told her something crashed in NY and there was military helicopters that responded fast to clean up whatever was there. Ill try searching for it but i just heard about that yesterday.

Ok why is that this incident has been observed yet again by a group of people none of whom own a mobile phone with a camera? Do the aliens scan us first to make sure there are no 2.5Ghz signals eminating from us?

I do believe in cover-ups. I do believe that life is prevelent throughout the universe (natures entropy reversing method). I also believe we have been visited. What I can't get my head around is the 100 to 1000 fold lack of increase in evidence due to the volume of capturing technology in folks pockets that makes this possible! Where is it? Jesus, the stuff can even take pictures in the dark!

i see the government is still messing around with that damn bell the germans created first it crashed in kecksburg now near vegas what is next a walmart ...............

Just so you all stop writing more crap about a possible UFO crash...it was a F-15 aircraft that crashed during Red Flag exercise...google the exercise if you think I'm making it up.

I'm surprised the title of the thread still says AUG1. This was aired AUG1, but the crash happened in May.

That place looks kinda barren, less ppl, less probability of someone filming anything.

It sounds "all above board" to me.

A few problems in the report from what i can gather?

It was obviously under surveilence from one "unit" or another, this leading to a 17 (seventeen) minute retrieval time with the correct equipment.

Now it gets intriging, we have an eyewitness named Bob, the fella who saw the light object falling from the sky who went to let his cat out, and then the fella who see the "trucks in an unusual formation" after picking up the debris.
IMO 3 credible witnesses.

whatever was retrived...was secret! We are never going to have a debate on this or any other subject / board where both sides can agree.

If, for instance, a year down the line information is leaked regarding this crash that to us believers will 100% guarentee it was an alien craft that crashed (yet again), then we will be debating it again.
If there is a photograph produced to "whoever" then this photograph no matter how good will be deemed ...ahh its a photoshop or similar?

The trouble is when the picture / video is good...its too good
when is blurry / out of focus / dosent show enough (so that people can estimate size, speed etc) then its no good!

Unfortunatley...believers, we cannot win!!

Look I just want to establish something before I finish this thread and I don't think anyone ever seems to understand what I mean.

How many of you know the meaning of life?

Okay, here's my point. Everything we know in life we either have answers to or we don't plain and simple. For the things we have answers to we have evidence to back it up. Then there are the things we don't know. Now, think of reasons why the government would want to hide things from us. The LIKELYHOOD that it is something the government is working on, may it be extraterrestrial in origin or not. Don't make preconceived notions or "I know it all" guesses on the first thing that pops into your head. Keep an OPEN MIND. Use your reasoning skills much like scientist develop theories on what it could be. People are so quickly to dismiss something at the ignorance of others. It's almost as if your suggesting that we forget about it.

I myself will spend some time thinking about it before I come to any conclusions. Why don't some of you consider doing the same. If you think someones suggestions contain falacies, point them out and the reasons why. And when you come to a conclusion, do the same.

This wasn't anything typical that's for sure, we didn't get any answers right away and that's a good reason why. Think about it.
