I think he might be one of those feds we always here about being on ats, or a kid that knows nothing.

I'd guess (just so you dont think I'm a fed too) that its probably a UAV as well seeing as how Nellis isnt that far away, Nor is Groom Lake, which is where the were testing UAVs, but I'm not sure how recently.

This was a UAV. They were too fast to respond for it to have been a UFO. Looks like they were getting flight data until the crash. IMHO.

If it actually happened, it was probably a UAV from the description. However, I think its odd that the main witness, also works for the radio station that the other witness works at. That seems like a pretty unlikely coincidence.

must be one of those new fangled glow in the dark bright bluish green UAV's i suppose. Ha! yeah right

They have crews that monitor these things on out of atmosphere radar systems. they knew this thing was on its way in and scrambled the recovery team..... why is that so hard to believe.... The soviets and the brits do the same thing, recover the craft then deny deny deny any body who asks a question. Same thing happened in Mexico, same thing happened in Roswell, the only difference than was they decided to cover it up after it had made front page news.

If so, then its no wonder people point at us and call us kooks.

How about we find out if its a UAV, or another type of military aircraft before we jump to conclusions?

Things We Believe We Know:

1. The craft emitted a very bright light of a turquoise hue.

2. The military was able to track this craft either by knowing it's trajectory in the first place or by using radar, etc.

3. The military was able to scramble several choppers including a sky-crane and be on scene within 17 minutes.

My Thoughts:

I don't know of any of our aircraft that emit that type of light. Especially if they're supposed to be low-observable or "stealth". So it may be something new.

Somehow the military was able to track this thing by radar or other means. So they probably know something about how it operates and are able to defeat any stealth properties if the vehicle had any.

I've never seen a sky-crane scrambled before. It's certainly unusual. I'd have to guess that the military knew how to pick this thing up with hoisting points or some other attachment, since you don't just tie a rope around an elliptical vehicle and fly off with it. And if they had a sky-crane ready on the tarmac then they probably knew there was a possibility of a crash or suspected that there would be one. In short, they seemed prepared for this eventuality.

I was sleeping out in the back yard when that 1962 event happened. The sky lit up like daylight. Oddly enough there was a meteor crater about a mile away from the house we lived in. Not related to that night, but a neat place to go and hang out for an 8 year old kid.

More than likely a UAV given the location. Also seem to recall reading about them working on plasma actuators, which would more than likely give you the color. Pretty neat stuff.Hope to hear more about this though.

Hmmm interesting idk, cause like they responded very quickly and how wuld they even come that quick if the object had just landed. Good thread though, i really interested in what it might of been, but the world may never know. But who does the government think they are from keeping confidental things away from us, that we might need to know about they dont rule this world. I just wish somehow we can know the truth, cause im getting really tired of all these sightings and crashed ufos, and not getting a single answer.

Help me out here? I swear i read this story 4-5 days ago. Everything is the same except the two helicopters retrieving the object, there was no helicopters and there seemed to be radio reports as well. What the f$!@!

if anything i doubt it was a UAV, our version of UAVS are smaller , and im sure if there even top secret enough, to cover up they would be EVEN smaller then they are now, and now USA UAVS, dont need a sky crane to pick up, but now that i think about it, was there even testimony that a skycrane was seen after>?

Check out the Nevada salvage yards in a few months.

Although new security on crash and spare parts must have increased
since a few known slips.

A part with a Nazi emblem ( like from the 40s and used for saucer
navigation.. like that was going in the the 40s in planes) was purchased
with the scavengers being monitored until the worked off the secure site
with more items and were arrested.

Any even further back to 1914 Los Alamos, parts ended up having the
men in black buying all the parts back. This was an official salvage so
no arrests.

If you see a CIA truck heading to a junk yard, something might be
let go.

I find it incredible that we are accepting the fact that "YES the government does lie to the people, but look at the really cool stuff"! You are a pawn in a worldwide game. If the economy is doing well and you have a good sense of country pride, you will work hard; your hard work will earn you a fair wage; that fair wage will earn a comfortable living; as long as you are comfortable you will just hand over that tax money. Your work and your money being spent however the F some power hungry top secret organization sees fit.

Enough ranting..... I just want to point out that I have a passion for knowledge and knowing and I have a hard time with the fact that we have to sift through garbage on public post just to get a glimpse of what might really be going on.

Are these videos showing spacecraft from another planet or high tech military aircraft or something entirely different? How do we force disclosure? Demanding is not working.....
