You are very rude

You are entitled to your wrong opinion.

Why do you waste your time in here if you cannot be civilized and stick to the point?

Right, I'm the one not being civilized. /sarcasm
I guess you don't notice it from people you agree with.

It really is not you make your self look idiotic and arrogant.

You are confusing arrogance with confidence. Oh well....that's your problem, not mine.

Now you can either stick to the topic at hand and stop being rude, or leave.

Sorry, but I had to laugh.

I did stick to the topic at hand until your cohorts starting chiming in with their sly comments and insults like you have here. Hell, I don't have time to post anything relevent anymore because I have to defend myself from the like of you and your other 'friends'. Good grief!
It's funny how you ignore their comments. Typical.

Yeah after the FISA vote I lost any respect I had for him and now we begin to see the waffling, hemming and hawing, from populist to "finding the center" right ...finding the center...is that what they call selling out to corporate interests these days

To me it appears that someone has negotiated for and purchased his soul.

You did not disappoint you did exactly what I knew you would do.

Even better you would rather throw back insults at me and totally ignore the last part of that post, you know the part that was on topic.

and why would they want to run to saudi arabia? that very strange you know - since Mecca is in SAudi Arabia and is thousands of miles away fro iran....

and you don`t know alot about submarines warfare do you? the kilo class are diesel boats - the USA hired a swedish diesel sub to bring its own CBG crews up to speed on modern sub hunting - well that boat remained undetected for 2 months , sank the entire cbg at least twice and is *reported* to have sunk an imp 688 (exercise shots) - they are that quiet , and whilst the people on here like to blow there own trumpet about nuke boats - battery ones are allways quieter.

You know, if you guys actually read the linked article and not just snippets quoted in someone's posts you might be better informed and able to say something intelligent.

It says that the "attack on the US" is only a plausible reason for the missile test, not "Oh dear god they want to nuke us!!!!!"

Sometimes in the entire intelligence process the assessment made by the analyst (who are human after all, seriously, human) is dictated by what is possible not by what is really happening. If I saw you walking toward your car at 6am then I would ASSESS that you are probably going to work. That's plausible right? But suppose it's your day off, you just happen to be going to your car to get your briefcase out because your teenage son is borrowing the car to drive to school, was I wrong? In a word, yes, but the signs are all there. You walked to your car. The time was 6 am. You leave everyday for work at about 6 to 6:15 am. The car leaves the lot around the same time today and heads north toward the school instead of north toward the office.

Also, in case you haven't heard, we HAVE found WMD's in Iraq. It was even shown on Fox, CNN, and MSNBC for 11 minutes and never heard of again. We found Mustard Gas and other neuro-toxins, etc, in artillery shells in multiple cities around Iraq. And best of all, not all of this was found by US forces, the Belgians found some too.

Don't feel bad if you didn't hear about that. Like I said it wasn't on for long. Good on you for not being glued to the boob tube 24/7!

-Apex

P.S. No I'm not an apologist nor am I a Disinfo agent....though that would be a sweet job!!!J/K!

Edit to add: Harlequin you are right, Diesel Subs are WAY quieter than Nukes because when they are running silent they run on pure electricity while nukes have to deal with the noise of the water pumps to cool the reactor. The only problem with Diesels which make them "unwanted" by "modern" navies is that the need to run on the surface to recharge which makes them very vulnerable. Of course you probably already new that so I'll just claim that I'm writing that for others who may not have known...whew, close call!

I was in the emergency waiting room at a hospital earlier this week and picked up a Time Magazine to read.

It just so happened to be an issue from May, 2005.

very interesting revisit. On one page, there was a column about numbers. The first number was 8.

The number 8 in this column was "the amount of minutes the terrorist alert was upgraded to 'Red'" earlier in the month. Now, the red, orange, is it amber? yellow?.. I get confused. Like when my daughter advance to yellow belt in karate. I asked her how many belts there were. "Some of the colors add stripes before the color changes..." Since I haven't heard of and Amber with two black stripes" terror alert, I guess the whole color thing was a fad. Now, it seems as if either a false flag op or a pandemic is next. Funny how an F-15 out of Ellis crashed today just outside of Goldfield in Esmerelda County on the heals of another incorporation attempt failed in this rural town that is about one MAD MIKE'S NITRO RUB
away from being a ghost town now that Angle's Ladies Brothel has closed.

Fortunately, the Golden Oasis Exploration Corp. has finished it's core drilling program at it's Empress project near Goldfield and the tabulation shows good vein intersection and at 402 feet and 473 feet they intercepted significant strikes of 16.10 grams per ton and 27.15 grams per ton respectively, not to mention silver, 132 grams per ton in that depth range. so about 60/1 gold equiv. With this news and the US denying requests to block Nevada Nuclear Waste Railroad, there will still be jobs at Yucca Mountain nuclear waste dump and jobs mining the gold.

Unfortunately,

"Iran, Why Don’t You “Chickity-Check Yo Self Before You Wreck Yo Self “

Poor Iran, honestly, I feel extremely bad for the Iranian people. Day after day, they have to watch and listen to their “commanders” prance around on television and make complete fools out of themselves. ...

...and General Salami (the person not the meat, although with his brainpower you might be confused) said the tests were conducted in reaction to enemies that have issued “harsh words” to Iran. Oh Salami and Ahmadinejad, haven’t you ever heard the little chant, “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.” Just because we call you out every time you make your country sound like a country filled with bricks, doesn’t mean were going to attack you....

...Unless you like the idea of having your country turned into little Orlando, don’t mess with us.

Well, there you have it in a nut shell. Iraq goes Euro, we take out Saddam, Iran talks Euro, we are not going to let OPEC trade in euro....are we....?

I think if people wanna go to war with IRAN they should be forced to be on the clean up team and dodge the bullets...

This world is getting ridiculous!!! The right wing war mongers could justify anything if they had a couple months to plan it.

It seems that we (ats) need more evidence and valid substance to even think about a claim, then the united states government needs.

Will a missile landing in your front lawn suffice? I mean really......these are assumptions of what could happen based on technology and tests that they have done. They did not come out and raise the terrorism alert status or say this WILL happen.

reminds me of something

US CONGRESS: A witch! A witch! A witch! We've got a witch! A witch!
US GOV REP #1: We have found a witch, might we burn her?
US CONGRESS: Burn her! Burn!
ATS: How do you know she is a witch?
US GOV REP #2: She looks like one.
ATS: Bring her forward.
IRAN: I'm not a witch. I'm not a witch.
ATS: But you are dressed as one.
IRAN: They dressed me up like this.
US GOV: No, we didn't... no.
IRAN: And this isn't my nose, it's a false one.
ATS: Well?
US GOV REP #1: Well, we did do the nose.
ATS: The nose?
US GOV REP #1: And the hat -- but she is a witch!
US CONGRESS: Burn her! Witch! Witch! Burn her!
ATS: Did you dress her up like this?
US CONGRESS: No, no... no ... yes. Yes, yes, a bit, a bit.
US GOV REP #1: She has got a wart.
ATS: What makes you think she is a witch?
GEORGE BUSH : Well, she turned me into a newt.
ATS: A newt?
GEORGE BUSH : I got better.
US GOV REP #2: Burn her anyway!
US CONGRESS: Burn! Burn her!

“The only plausible explanation we can find is that the Iranians are figuring out how to launch a missile from a ship and get it up to altitude and then detonate it,” he said. “And that’s exactly what you would do if you had a nuclear weapon on a Scud or a Shahab-3 or other missile, and you wanted to explode it over the United States.”

The commission warned in a report issued in April that the United States was at risk of a sneak nuclear attack by a rogue nation or a terrorist group designed to take out our nation’s critical infrastructure.

Where to begin?

I can think of another plausible explanation. Could be because this administration has issued so many threats toward Iran, and since the Iranians can see from a unique vantage point what has happened to their neighbors due to this administration...perhaps they're getting ready to defend themselves by testing missiles. I would need to see concrete proof that nukes were involved to believe it, and it would have to come from someone A LOT more credible than this administration.

Now, on to the second paragraph. Take out our nation's critical infrastructure???? That is EXACTLY what this administration has threatened to do to Iran, more than once. Sounds like projectionism to me.

So this is what Dick Cheney has been doing with his time. He disappears for months and this "intel" tid-bit surfaces...very suspect. No final proof/mushroom cloud, nuke them now! for the good of mankind!

They really don't need nuclear power

If they want Nuclear power, That's not any concern to America.

Saudi Arabia is supposedly investing in Nuclear power, as oil will one day run out.

Still unnacceptable behaviour, coming from the white house, telling Iran what to do, and poking them consistengly for the last 2 years, for a war.

Agreed.

And whether anyone thinks they need nuclear power for domestic use or not, it doesn't matter. They have that right according to the NPT Treaty which was signed.
