SOLVED!
I had the "send referrer information" unchecked in network settings. Once checked, everything now seems to be working well. Thanks for hanging in there with me!

Hi, I would like to see an un-flag option. Can we have a referendum on this question?

Here's something myself & some other members can't work out.

I refer to this new thread:

When the op started this thread (originally in the breaking news forum & then moved to the UFO forum), the op's profile page stated the op had only made 6 posts.

We're not having a go at the op.....we're just scratching our heads a little.

How did the op manage to start that thread?

Can I just add to the confusion here....

It says on the opening posters profile he has made 6 posts.

But by my count there is 8 posts made by him in that thread so far so why have they not been counted correctly?

Am i missing something here blatantly obvious here?

(btw i know it's not a big deal at all but Hey since we're sharing stuff we're confused about. )

Well to add to the "confusion", think about this:

According to the op's profile page, the op's first post was in that thread we are discussing.

Perhaps we are entering the ATS.....

Why are you having an egg over some other Member?

Look....

Sometimes, not very often, but occasionally, a new Member will post a well thought out and researched, or timely and relevant thread in the Intro Forum or some other Forum that may allow new threads from new Members, and the Staff will see that some work has gone into it and move it to an appropriate forum for discussion.

As for the Post Count being different, that could be any number of things, a glitch, they may have filed a complaint, or any number of things going on behind the scenes.

That's all it is guys. Not WWIII, or the Antichrist or any other Conspiracy...

Now back to our regularly scheduled programs.

Not sure what you mean here so I thought I'd try and clarify.

Do you mean a "negative flag" option (which the owners of the site have said several times will never happen) or an option for unflagging a thread that you have previously flagged?

I think he meant the capability to change your mind & withdraw your flag.

That seems to have some logic to it, albeit I can't speak to the technical issues involved.

Although, I can also see some logic in "making decisions & sticking by them".

Yes. ATS Admin decided to focus on the positive. There's enough negativity in the world. You don't want to flag something? That's fine. There will be no "vote down" though.

Is anyone else experiencing extreme sluggishness at the moment or is it just me? Page load times are horrible at the moment.

Yes. I'm having that problem as well. We're experiencing very high traffic.

Can someone help me out? there is several threads that when I try and access them i am led to a blank page, I noticed that someone else has made a thread on this matter but when I try and enter it all i get is a black blank page, so I cant read the answers

It seems this is happening with everyone ATM. I read in another thread that ATS admin has been flagged concerning the situation.

Not sure why it''s happening though, you'll have to wait for a MOD/Admin to let you know I'm afraid.
