Ahhhh yes, good ol' "Tokyo Rose"; however, Iva Toguri was falsely sentenced/convicted of treason on the basis of others' perjured testimony, and she was later pardoned by President Ford. Might this analogy make you out to be George Mitsushio, or Kenkichi Oki?

Personally, I think that if a "malicious" alien presence wanted to perform psy-ops like that; they'd aim much higher than an internet discussion board. Why not aim for Shepard Smith, Anderson Cooper, or any MSM figure?

deamann: I don't mean this to sound unpleasant but we as humans assume we have a moral right to do whatever we like (experimentation on animals "so long as it's in OUR interests and stops people dying", killing innocents for their natural resources, global economies that monetarily rape poor countries, the IRS and 'fake money' and loans and so forth, I could go on). Who's to say aliens don't feel the same way about us? Just because 'we don't like it and it shouldn't be so because the Intergalatic Mind says peace & love or the Council of Fifteen Onion Ring Fryers from Venus has a say in intergalatic law which prohibits aliens from killing us and or experimenting because everyone else in the universe will get 'em if they do' does not make it so. We have a lot of ego and despotism, who's to say no other intelligent life is morally better? Humans are the single biggest threat to other humans than anything else, yet we still don't get along...

We are only in charge because of our opposable thumbs and our egos. If there are aliens as I'm sure there are, and they have technology far advanced from our own, why should we assume they will treat us with respect, if we show each other and those under our care (animals) none? We assume we are morally, ethically, and, egotistically right and have a right to life and to do what we please.

For example, many people believe that if the aliens are benevolent, then should we attack them, or each other in a big nulear war, they would come to our aid - but why should they? We have nothing of importance to them other than as study materials or natural resources. If they capture a few humans, then that's all the study material they need (since they can then 'grow' them by interbreeding them and test-tube babies/genetics), and if we blow each other up, the earth is theirs as I'm sure they have ways to remove the radiation, if they are not already immune from living and working in space.

It could also be, although statistically unlikely, that there is only US and THEM and so who do they have to cowtow to to ensure they don't wipe us out? If its us and them, who else is going to care if they blow us out of orbit?

I don't trust aliens by any means, and I for one think they are just as evil as us, perhaps more so in that if they are analytical and more 'scientific', they would see us more as lab rats than as a species worth trading and communicating with, hence the no need to really invite first contact, they just come and go as they please, while our governments have made a deal that THEY (the people in charge and their familes) are not affected, everyone else is fair game.

I sincerely hope they are benevolent, and do come in peace, and so far, I can't decide, since our government has not disclosed anything of value, nor have the aliens; the actions of the few are not necessarily the actions of the many - how do we know that aliens don't live thousands of years and all have space craft, it could be a mom & pop business of collecting humans while the major population of aliens don't even know we exist. It could be our military-industrial complex against theirs; they could be just as clueless about us as we are about them in many regards.

redmage, you do understand that I am looking at this as a mental exercise? I in no way am saying that I think this is what is going on.

But, in the outline I made, it would be valid to say that there is no need for anything (more?) being done to turn MSM into an unwitting partner to the aliens. MSM is acting in the best interest of such attackers already.

And by ramping up the hoax factor on boards such as this they would be targeting the only likely opposition. And if an unexpected event occurred where UFOs were seen by the masses of humans, then the first thing most people would do is google UFO and wind up on one of these forums.

An attacking force would not need a great deal of time to consolidate whatever mission they had in mind. It is possible that creating indecision for only a few days or a week would be enough to swing the tide in their favor.

I was only wondering why this idea, which surely isn't any more radical than others, never gets discussed?

I tried to start a thread on the following link some time ago. Mostly because I have a curious nature and wanted to learn more about the "darker" sides of the american government.
In the light this thread... and ofcourse a mix of other threads, which concerns themselves with prophecies and alien conspiracies, I would like to once again adress this link.

For anyone knowledgeable in this area, is this considered a "normal" amount of money spent on Psy-ops? Cause to me it sounds like a lot of money. And is the psy-ops simply a branch concerned with things like war on terror and so on?

I see that as being debatable (that the MSM is playing into alien "attackers" interests); however, the concept of "Tokyo Rose" was that "she" (or "they") accusedly broadcast ideas that were not inline with "our best interests". Relating that to GR's tale could go one of two ways.

1) It's not in our best interests to believe that aliens are "truly benevolent".
or
2) It's not in our best interests to believe that these "black ops" are going to be performed by our own gov. (i.e. what we're supposed to believe are "gov. black ops" are actually going to be performed by a "malicious alien presence")

While these concepts seem quite similar on the surface (both involving a "malicious alien presence"), they play out quite differently. The first plays into the hands of earthly "NWO related" conspiracies; while the second plays into the hands of a "malicious alien presence". I chose to follow out a scenario relating closer to option 1, while it appears that you're choosing to focus more on option 2.

I'm not so sure about that one. I think that if you were to poll "believers" on this board; most don't view aliens as being "malicious"; so "they" wouldn't find much opposition here.

As I said, just an idea. I doubt that either is really correct. While the paranoid part of me might believe in the NWO and "nasties from space", it is all far fetched.

I really think contact is coming, or has already, but I doubt that it will live up to our expectations. The EBEs will turn out to be nerds, and the governments of Earth will fall all over themselves trying to impress them.

In the end, the nerds will go home, promising to get in contact soon, only it'll be like the date that had "such a good time" and never calls back.

And we humans will go on being war mongers and pacifists, good and evil, rich and poor.

The best we can hope for as a species is some small gift of technology and the bigger gift that life is really out there. And it is that last point, being driven home to John Q. 'Average" Public, that will be the biggest boon to our kind. Because it's one thing to imagine or believe that it's so, but it takes on new force when it's proven.

I just had another thought. If these visitors are monitoring us then surely you'd have to assume that they already know about the false-flag operation. Wouldn't they (or anybody, for that matter) do something to stop it? Perhaps their own disclosure, on their own terms? They could turn the whole world against their respective governments by revealing themselves and exposing the false-flag operation. My instinct is that if this were planned by the US gov. (alone, in particular) it would have to be far more secret than this is.

Think about the Manhattan project, what was created, the testing involved and the level of secrecy. Isn't it a tad naive to think that that level of secrecy could be maintained now? After all, NOBODY has come forward in this manner before, regarding any of the other supposed secrets.

Another thing about lasers is that you don't see the beam like in the movies. So the average person may or may not really have any clue.

I had a dream about this. The skies around the world were filled with ufo's. If the military thinks they can wage a war with aliens, they are nuts. They will disable the equipment before they get one shot off.

i am in shock after reading what you said, because i too had a similar dream about 4 months ago. I saw all these different craft which were each different shapes in the sky, and one of the craft started emitting a blue light from the bottom which started expanding. Planes were crashing, and people below (on my street) were running screaming in panic.

The size of this psy-ops budget seems like something huge is going to go down soon. Also that the contract ends in 2011 adds to the mystery. In fact this whole thread makes me think of Michael E. Salla, PhD, and his article on "The Black Budget Report: An Investigation into the CIA’s ‘Black Budget’ and the Second Manhattan Project"

In it he establishes that the CIA every year siphons billions of dollar via various official channels into black operations. Salla makes little claim to know the specifics of these projects, but he suggests that there might be some connection to the alien presence. Maybe the Aurora project is part of what they are funding for a planned future offensive against the alien presence. It sure would fit nicely in with the predictions of GhostRaven. And as for keeping things secret, wasn´t it some 50.000 people working on the bomb in the states during the war, and there was no leaks to the general population? Actually, what GhostRaven has been saying on these issues makes a lot of sense. Also, his style of writing adds to the integrity of him being an academic. Of course we will have to wait until August to know if he is the real deal, but even as I type there has been more mainstream media ufo-stories than in a long time. Since people like Greer are forcing the hand of the elite (they tried to kill him for krissake) I believe desperate measures like the ones GR describes might be consiederd. Even though I think someone will pull the plug on this eventually, seeing that there is just way too many unknowns in this equation.
