The fact of the matter is that Iran is actively seeking nuclear weapons, IF they do not already possess a few small ones. The acting president of Iran has publically stated he wants Israel destroyed. "Wiped from the face of the Earth." if I am not mistaken. Even were he misquoted, I don't know it's a little hard to misquote something of that magnitude. Also given his prior history, I doubt this would be a mistake. So we have a man who openly admits he is seeking nuclear weapons, and plans to eradicate Israel. Why is Paris Hilton the top news story then? As I said before;

In this ongoing repetive cycle of calls for Iran to be attacked before they nuke the poor little state of Israel (who never have done any wrong), a lot of people seem to be missing one vital point. Iran has at no time stated it will attack Israel, unless attacked first. The statements made about the destruction of Zionism and the Zionist leadership of Israel make the point that this is a self destructing internal process. Zionism will destroy the state of Israel, not some imaginary nuclear weapon launched from Iran.

What the press also seem to shy away from reporting are the calls from Israeli leaders and their bought US political leader's calls for military action against Iran. The current 08 leadership battle seems to revolve around who can suck up to Israel the most, not who is best to represent and serve the US people. Americans and Israelis calling for attacks against Iran are ignored by the mainstream press yet as soon as an Iranian mentions the fall of Israel, it's immediately reported as a direct threat and a sign of imminent danger to Israel. It's nothing more than conditioning for the masses and skewed / untruthful reporting by the mainstream press.

No, the Iranian president and other clerics in power have called for the destruction of Zionism, and yes they have called for the destructionof israel itself, and as i have already pointed out through Ahmadinejad's own words, for him all Israelis are Zionists.

....Ahmadinejad is a Shiite, as a Shiite you are allowed to lie, according to their faith, to hide your true intentions and thoughts if you think your statements will cause repraisal.

This is one of the mayor reasons why we get so many mixed signals from the Iranian president.

Hitler - Wanted land for his "master race," told his "master race" to exterminate their enemies; actually had millions killed

Biblegod - Wanted land for his "chosen ones," told his "chosen ones to exterminate their enemies numerous times, down to killing any living thing, including animals; if you have faith had many killed and killed many as well

Though Biblegod wanted everything killed down to animals, he's not as bad as Hitler because none of the godly stuff in the Bible actually happened. Still comparable, though.

What? Democracy is a form of Government and can exist side by side with Communism, Capitalism and Socialism seeing as they are ideology's, not types of Government. Most governments in Europe are Social Democratic. Some are more conservative than other's mind, but having said that, the European right is still to the Left of the US left.

Some Democracy? There is more democracy in Europe than in the oh-so-fixed US two party system.

The attempt to destroy Israel has everything to do with Christian 'mythology' as you put it. It's been going on since Israel's inception.

Just remove the word 'nuke' from your above statement and compare to the wars since Israel's statehood, and you will find just the opposite. Israel has defended itself from Arab attack, time and time again.

Are you Muslim truthseeka? As i recall far more people are being killed these days in the name of Allah, than in the name of the God of the bible.

I can only speak for myself here, and I would be confident in assuming this applies to practically every one in this discussion, when I say that it's not Jewish people we dislike its the Zionists. It's the same distinction between disliking Nazis and Germans or Afghanis and the Taliban. I can categorically state that my beef is with the racist Zionists who believe they are the "chosen race" and that any one else is inferior. How some people here can denounce the racism and bigotry of the "Islamofacists" yet be staunch Zionists has me beat. The problem with that statement is that more Palestinians die from Israeli bombs and bullets than Israelis from Palestinian rockets. I'm not excusing any of the killing in the slightest but your sense of compassion for the Israelis who are suffering from this conflict should be engendered tenfold for the Palestinians as their plight is immeasurably greater than that of the Israelis.

Israel is going down and it will take down to hades a lot of Arabs too. Bible says too, Jerusalem will be completely destroyed.
