Ahmadinejad: World Will Witness the Destruction of Israel Soon

www.foxnews.com

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday said the world would witness the destruction of Israel soon, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

Ahmadinejad said last summer's war between Israel and Hezbollah showed for the first time that the "hegemony of the occupier regime [Israel] had collapsed, and the Lebanese nation pushed the button to begin counting the days until the destruction of the Zionist regime," IRNA quoted him as saying.

Ahmadinejad is the new Hitler. Hitler broadcast exactly what his plans were, but no one listened and millions died.

Will history repeat itself?

Hmmm it's funny that because last time he supposedly said that he was misqouted or so it's claimed.

I agree with the OP. The Iranian president isn't leaving much to the imagination. There have been those who argue that this is empty rhetoric. If so, isn't the rank recklessness of such comments worthy of rebuke?

Ahmadinejad is the new Mussolini. Solid, incorrigable and direct. I have a lot of respect for the Man. He will be influential in the destruction of the whole Middle East.

Soon you are going to be getting the responses from the hoards of Ahmadinejad's apologizers who will claim in one way or another that he is actually good, and it is the United States which is evil and made this up...

This guy is nuts, and the worse parts is that there are other nuts, such as Chavez, castro et al who like this idiot want the destruction not only of nations like Israel but want to spread "their revolution" around the world, and the sad part is that there are regular people in this world who side with these nuts and claim "he is not bad"....

But you know what is going to happen about this? The UN, and some other Europeans "might" condemn what he said, nothing is going to be done and then when this nuts, with his other club of nuts, decides to attack ISrael, you will get people claiming, "Israel and it's people deserved this".....

Let them attack Israel because Israel will in turn destroy Iran, with or without our (USA) help, and all the antisemites will cry over their hero.

those of us that have a lifetime of being subconsciously conditioned
by our culture, can only see this open ended statement as a directed threat
on Israel.

i submit that When/If the western world of christianized people, including the Anglo-American bloc,
do an actual analysis of armageddon/apocalypse prophecies in the prevailing Judeo-Christrian Bible (which is almost a foundational truth & path of living, in the western world mindset)
It Will Spring on their collective mind that;
When the 'messiah' or 2nd coming of their 'Christ' occurs,
that event will mean the destruction of Israel too !!
As their 'savior' tells us that man's feeble governments canot coexist
with the 1,000 millenial kingdom...the are prophetic words that say
the Christ kingdom will have 144,000 apponted 'kings' in charge of the remnant of humans on planet Earth.

in other words, Ahmadinejads' words might not have a meaning
or the method of realization-- -that You & Others are reading into them...

His(Amadinejad) threats just might be g0ds method of indirectly & subliminally funneling the worlds thinking & a peoples' mindset....into accomplishing His master plan we read in prophecies

...kapich ?

Here is the problem with what Iran's Pres said. If he or anyone attacks Isreal the U.S. will undoubtly help. Some of the EU could possibly help depending on the situation. Isreal alone could wipe up any country in the Middle East, but it wouldn't be able to conquer a country, it will mearly become another Iraq.

Iran's statement is nothing, it won't do a damn thing to Isreal. Isreal controls they skies. The U.S. controls the skies and the sea for what Isreal lacks. People say Isreal is the problem in the Middle East, but what about countries who make statements like this?

He can say whatever he wants, it does'nt mean it will happen.

The only reason he is president is because he got himself elected on home issues like
educational reform, he did'nt show his psychotic side at the time.

In reality though, he really can't do it, since the Supreme Leader is the one with
military power, and it can be argued that the Supreme Leader has the real power,
even though Constitutionally the President has many of the powers that the Prime Minister
(which was merged with that of the presidency), the President is not Commander of
the Armed Forces, so he really could'nt do it unless the others in charge wanted to,
which they don't seem to want to, as they are'nt quite as psychotic as Ahmadinejad.

Israel to implode by it's own machinations...news at 5.

TEHRAN (AFP) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that a countdown has begun that will end with the "destruction" of Israel by the people of Lebanon and Palestine.

How dare you compare Il Duce to that Persian idiot!

He is nothing like Mussolini; Mussolini was completely secular, among other things.

Anyway, it seems we need to stop biding our time and take the initiative; we can't just assume that he is all talk.

If someone verbally threatens to kill someone, you arrest them, even though you do not know if they meant it or not; you cannot take that chance.

And for those of you who support the destruction of Israel: You would have very different opinions if you had friends that lived there (I do.).

The new Hitler? George Bush is the new Hitler. Who wanted to invade other countries under false pretenses and did? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?
No! it was good old George Bush the Nazi. This doesn't mean i agree with Ahmadinejad either but look to your own country for the next Hitler.

As far as im concerned both American and Iranian presidents are exactly the same. They both want war and death for their own gain.

Bush is not Hitler, hes not a Nazi, okay? Hes just an idiot. He probably means well hes just a below average person and you put a below average person in charge of a powerful country well then he can seem pretty damn evil.

Hell even if he doesn't mean well you still can't compare him to Hitler. People getting killed in irresponsible collateral damage from a miscalculated invasion that was most likely intended to be positive is still far less worse than intentionally rounding up and gassing over 12 million people on the basis that they were "inferior."

I'm not supporting this guy at all, but Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying the countdown to the destruction of the Zionist regime, not the destruction of Israel. Hasn't the US openly stated their desire of regime change in a few other countries? I see this as more of a political threat, not a physical threat.

You know this is just the attitude I've grown to expect from you. Death and destruction on a group you don't like. However, if that group in this case the Israelis called for the destruction of an entire group you would be screaming racism at the top of your lungs. You claim to want equality but evidently that is only for people you approve of.

Not surprising, but you know this same mentality is a never-ending thing. Its always happened and it will always happen. Its the way people think. Hell, even I am guilty of it.

More bloviating BS - Iran lacks the capability to achieve "regime change" (all he calls for in Israel, not genocide BTW) in Israel and Ahmadinejad knows it.

Pure propaganda for regional and domestic audiences.

And of course, with the words suitably twisted around, it makes great propaganda for the "bomb Iran now!" crowd too... every body wins!

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing "regime change" in bother Iran and Israel (and hell, here at home too), but I'm not holding my breath.

Um I think you should rethink your response and should really read this article www.rense.com... as you will plainly see there are definite parallels between Hitler and Bush.
