For all you who hate the USA

Mainly because the American dream is a lie. Americans constantly say that america is the one country in the world where people can start with nothing and make something of themselves. Its a lie america has the lowest social mobility in the world, the poor stay poor, the rich stay rich. Try reading Chomesky he may be a radical but only because he speaks the truth many refuse to believe.

I don't hate America, not even the americans , no what I hate is the lack of freedom in a free country!
- I like being proud of my country, but following blind is foolish.

- Don't start with 'fighting terrorism', but can any american (or tourist who has been in america once) go anywhere without the government knowing exactly where you are, what you eat, what you're doing etc. etc.?

- I don't like Bush and his invasion of a country to try to keep his currency sorted.
- I HATE the Nazis who sent good scientists/inventors like Einstein and Ford away. And now the americans take credit for inventions that Europeans made!

- What speedlimit do you have on your highways? (Germany none, most of Europe approx 75 MPH, England is way too slow for me with 70 MPH. And what do you have? HAHA ROFL

I love pictures of the country, I have heard that many people are very kind and hospital and those are things I like and respect.

But the perfect government is crappy. Sry about that.
Having said that: in Germany and England, they have been able to undermine human rights with laws they amended in the last couple of years, so it's not any more only an american problem...

I think one of the main problems with America is the fact that there are only two political groups for such a giagantic country. There is such a small number of people contolling so many other people.

I think Englamd would be the same if it was so big. Afterall Tony is a murderous liar like Bush, but he's not so heavily critisized because he has far less power to do the things Bush does.

The Americans have far to much power and as we know, it corrupts. The American government think they can't solve all the world problems so just use their time to gain power, I mean whos going to stop them. One of the reasons Americans get so much stick is that they have an out of control administration and are to lazy or cowardly to do something about it.
The British are also doing little but no one from any other country is scared of the little twerp.

I have to agree with you dingleberry77 because when I was in the US for a year a LOT of the people I met thought that lions still walked around the streets in South Africa and also thought we didn't have telephones. I even met a "well to do" guy that seemed pretty well educated in his field which was something financial - HOWEVER, he didn't even know much about his OWN country of America. This got me more alert in terms of noticing what people in the US actually knew about their own country. I have to say, in summary, how can we non-US people expect them to know about anything outside the boarders of the US of A when they know, and I generalize (which is bad I know) nothing about what is outside of their own state or county for that matter.

And I have to agree as well. I'm doing my internship with an American/German MNC in Europe. Several weeks ago another American intern suggested to visit the Leaning tower of Pisa, which she thought to be located in Rome. She also thought that Luxembourg is the capital of Germany.

First of all I am a citizen of the USA. I do not hate the country, but rather the adminstration that has run it. The political branch of the USA, since JFK have been motivated to do things in their own interests and not for the country at large or for the betterment of the world. Resources are squandered and wasted, we interveen in other countries, though with the best of intentions where it turns against us badly. You look at any country which hates, and I do mean hates the USA, and go back in history, there is a good chance where the USA went in and attempted to fix their country only for it to go badly.

Actually, I don't think anyone's hit on the real reason the rest of the world hates America yet: Bill Gates, Coca Cola and Ronald MacDonald, those are the real reasons

well... that's the USA's own fault of mismanagement of money under the bush administration. under clinton debt wasn't as much of a problem... but clinton didn't start 2 wars.

I am a prime example of where one can come from nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got married at 21, I didnt have a career and my wife was a medical assistant making 11 dollars an hour, I was delivering pizzas making about 13 an hr with tips.

We both went back to school, worked 40 hrs a week and did the college thing during the day!! It was a very very long 3 years, little sleep, no time with each other, etc, etc.

Well now I'm a Jouyneyman Electrician making $30 an hour, and she's an RN making about the same!

Dont give me this sh#t that you cant make it!!

Some people just dont have the fotitude to do it! I.E. LAZY!!!!!!

It was a tough 3 years! No sleep, no hangin with the friends, no social life!!

But now i have what I wanted, Im not just some person who wouldnt work for it bitchin to everyone else why it all sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no, because we routinely scew over the other countries we should help them out. look at mexico, they're still reeling from the mexican amerian war in which we took more than half their country (see the western half of the USA)

Your posts display a level of ignorance and contempt for other countries that describes fully WHY so many people are taking a strong dislike for the USA.

You have no knowledge of history - that much has become obvious so far - you have not listened to anything any of the other posters have written, instead you have just dismissed them in a stream of pro USA rhetoric without considering anything thats been written.

So I'll be blunt.

People have started to dislike the USA because, to be frank, theres an awful lot of loud mouthed ignorant, bigoted, uneducated people in it who have no knowledge of the world at large, don't listen to people that DO have that knowledge and instead think they know better.

And to compound it, they will continually, time after time, come onto forums and spout the same old #e, "just because they can"

As for me, I don't hate the USA. I just wish some of you would shut the hell up and listen some times.

As for my "piss-ant" nation, at the moment its buying up US companies because your economy is so poor, and your nation rode on our global political reputation to help legitimise the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Furthermore we've just seen the political end of one of the most violent terrorist struggles the world has ever seen.
