Wow Johnlear such bold claims..

Oh, but do explain, what are we being "diverted" from? What is going on in the world right now at this very second that we are not paying attention to??

Right. Nothing. Thanks, come again.

Unless.... its something us minions know nothing about but you know every thing about because of your handy "sources" eh?

It is a myth that "there are loopholes in gun shows".

Sorry friend, but you're just plain wrong. I saw it with my own two eyes. My friend bought a .45, cash transaction, no phone numbers. There are most definitely loopholes.

Peace

For those of you who can stomach Neal Boortz this link has a number of good arguments regarding situtations like this.

Whether you like him or not he brings up some very good points. There is also more info on Virginias HB 1572 as well.

Can you elaborate on programming John? Does it start at an early age? What kind of people are targetted for programming?

Peace

Well, if Johnlear's claims have any merit I'd and this was a government sponsored event I dont think its designed to distract us from anything. Rather its designed to boost public fear and give greater cause to gun-banning, high security, Patriot Act, police staters out there.

I think it wasnt more than 10 minutes after the news of this broke yesterday there was sombody posting about how evil guns are and how only the police should be allowed to have them.

Root, root, root for the police state!!!! Dont worry, government will save you.

I've just been doing some research on killed-to-injured ratios. 32 dead and 15 injured yields a ratio better than 2:1, which is a special forces score. Does that level of comptetance put a person into the catergory of "Trained Killer".
If so what was a trained killer doing studying English in Virginia of all places?

I see reports of 29 injured, and that will probably go up. Thats approx. 50% ratio. Not hard to accomplish in a closed room enviornment with a couple semi autos, lots of ammo, and nobody else armed.

Well the only thing i know is that:
1) VT and Police should get afraid and get their heads chomp off at least the head police chief and the vt head guys,..why? because they didnt do what they should, after the first incident inform to people by any means neceesary, they had at least 1 hour and half to do so (I am giving 30 minues to know what was going on on their parts), and now all indicates that the first killings were of the same guy, this should put more pressure on the VT and police chief who did a very poor job. Not saying anything..or saying very late when the rampage started, assuming that the guy went away from the campus just with what facts they assumed that?.. I am realy angry about this matter, if they lock down inmediatly the campus after the first killings maybe something could have been done... what else does this VT guys and POlice chief want to lock down a campus?..i mean..2 muerders...does you need more or need to kill 33 like 2 hours later to lock it down and do their jobs...

I dont know why anyody is talking about this matter...

I liked that article Lost

IDIOT EMAIL OF THE DAY!
Subject: Shootings
Message:
What gets me is what was George Bush doing and just where was he while the Virginia Tech shootings were going on. He has waisted innumberable resources on his illegal War in Iraq when he could have been increasing security here. This would NOT have happened if Kerry had won the last election. The Brady Bill would not have run out and these fine children would have been protected. You conservative gun nuts make me sick.

LOL. Ah, some people.

alex alex alex..

The first incident looked (and most likely was) domestic. You do not shut down an entire university because of some domestic issue.. you just don't do it!

The only one here to blame is the shooter himself and the society he lives in.. blaming police, guns, faculty, ect will do nothing to solve the problem.

There is a classic Problem Reaction Solution starting to play out here. The whole idea of having an armed population is so you can defend yourself from your Government.
The shooting will cause public outcry, which will lead eventually to the banning of firearms. So when Operation Endgame kicks off who's going to stop the American Public from being herded into camps.

Nothing will help you against the government anyway. Waco proved that. Look at the stockpile they had.

Yeah. This is what I mean by search for the guilty and punishment of the innocent.

You can't prevent something like this by taking away guns. If someone is whacked out enough to want to kill a bunch of people, they are going to find a way to do it regardless of what weapons they possess.
Case in point being the highest causality school massacre in US history...

May 18, 1927 Bath, Michigan
"School board member Andrew Kehoe, upset by a property tax for a new school building which caused the foreclosure of his farm, set up a series of explosions in the Bath elementary school. That morning he killed his wife and set his farm building on fire. While fire fighters were arriving at the farm, an explosion destroyed the north wing of the school. As people gathered outside the school, Kehoe drove up and detonated a bomb inside his shrapnel-filled vehicle. During the rescue efforts, searchers discovered an additional 500 pounds (230 kg) of unexploded dynamite and pyrotol planted throughout the basement of the school's south wing. The bombings constituted the deadliest act of mass murder in a school in U.S. history, claiming more than three times as many victims as the Columbine High School massacre."

He didn't even use a gun.
How could anyone possibly predict or prevent something like that?
It's simple, you can't.

It's absolutely 100% without a doubt impossible to ban guns in America!!! Logistically speaking the government doen't have enough agents, or firepower for that matter, to pull it off.

The only way I could see an American giving up their gun would be by order of death on site, no trial, if found with a firearm. A lot of people would give into fear at that point. And for that to be the case we would have to be in a police state already.

Peace

Fellow Master Mason, Neocon, co-architect of 911 and World Bank President who is currently being asked to resign for his incompetence and improprieties. But we know he isn't going anywhere don't we Rockpuck.

Total failure of the 'surge' might be another.

Exposure of government complicity in 911 might be another.

Thanks for your input, it is always useful.

With that amount of TNT, theres no way that should have happened either.

Obviously there has been much obfuscation on this whole event. First they say the gunman was a Chinese National. Now they are saying that he is South Korean. First they told us he wasn't a student, now they are saying he was.
